Why Have Facebook, YouTube Removed Video of Young Mid Eastern Children Being Beaten?

Earlier today, Pamela Geller shared a disturbing video on her Atlas Shrugs blog that shows young children being beaten by a man (he appears to be their teacher). While the video has been around for at least a few weeks now, a new question is emerging — why have both Facebook and YouTube removed the clip?
According to Geller, Secular Democracy & Human Rights For Iran first posted the video on the group’s Facebook page. She claims both Facebook and YouTube have removed the clip, with YouTube posting a violation of Terms of Service for its reasoning. When The Blaze attempted to access the clip, we did, indeed, encounter the following notice:
To fight back against its removal, people have been saving the clip and re-uploading it on different accounts. Advocates, like Geller, want these horrific actions displayed for the world to see.
While the location where the video took place has not been definitively determined, it is likely somewhere in the Middle East (possibly Iran or Egypt). Below, please find the most recently-updated version:

It was quite fun actually and you could play it with knuckles too which you could really get a good sore hand playing. Really none of you played this?
I don’t think there was any misogyny either. A couple of the little princesses resisted getting their hands whacked so he had to poke them with the ruler to open up their palms.
There’s nothing to get upset about in this video. I assume he’s whacking the kids who did poorly on some assignment. Spare the rod and you’ll end up with loud mouths shuffling around with their pants hanging way down below their butts doing mob robberies.

I think it only ended around 2000. To be honest, it may still take place. I don’t know. It wasn’t just one whack either. Depending on your offense, it could be multiple whacks.Depending on the teacher, sometimes it really hurt.
It was very common. It was endorsed by the school system and the parents.

Posted on June 18, 2011 at 11:54amWhen my mother was a kid they got hit by the nuns, and if you went home and told your parents- you then got the belt. You learned quickly to do as your expected. I did notice in the video that the girls that fussed more, got more- I think it is to show the other kids do as your told. It’s kind of like when the kid flips out at the check-out over candy. If you give in to them when they fuss, then they will learn that fussing gets them what they want.-The children there know what is expected of them, and know whats coming.(I do not agree with hitting children/anyone). To me the scary part is not whats in the video, but rather what the children will do as adults-

Im not the censorship is off the charts and confusing at times. IMO if the vid shows abuse of those with opposing political views then they potentially get pulled. If its the other way around they stay up!
Becks programs uploaded by youtubers is routinely removed to where the posters put nothing in the description, tags etc to avoid removal over copyright issues. Yet plenty of CNN MSNBC etc are all over the place. I had a Chris Christie vid were there were countless others identical to it available and mine was pulled over copyright issues
Vids showing atrocities are uploaded and removed with similar hypocrisy. I think it depends on who puts it up and what message it being expressed. For example showing those uprising in the ME against the regime could/would be censored yet similar vids of uprisings are not when those uprising are radicals… if you follow me. In other words if its say a nation BHO has “endorsed” to stand up like Egypt the vid is avail, show Iranians rising up they get censored.
As Beck has advised if you find clips that are important SAVE them to your hard drive and burn them to disk. For those using Firefox there is a great app that allows you to easy DL youtube vids called Easy Youtube Video Downloader it will place a button on bottom left of YT vids that you click to save.

The principal had a two foot long paddle with holes in it that he used two-handed on our little butts. My old man beat us with a wire coat hanger or a buggy whip. If we would have called the cops they would have laughed and said we deserved it.

As long as the teacher was really concerned about my child‘s education I wouldn’t mind them paddling their hand. When my brother was in high school and had to go to summer school my dad would paddle his hand every time he came home with less than a 90 on a test. There is a difference between beating and spanking a child and spanking them is better than suspending them. Most child act up at school just to get suspended but I be that who change if they pulled out the old paddle and put it on their behinds.

Posted on June 19, 2011 at 4:09pmI stopped using Youtube when they tried to force me to link my Google account (which I previously deleted due to the FEDS showing up @ blogger’s doors), and they started tracking every single video you watch and keeping track of it, no matter what settings you implemented.
Google’s spying is out of control. They want to know what pictures and webpages you’re even THINKING of visiting, by tracking your mouse cursor and what it hovers over. It even thinks it can read your mind and demands to know your location, even if you disable the feature. It comes back everytime you start your browser, and “instant search” is back on, “my location” is back on, and the stupid new “Google Images” format comes back.
