Why is Moscow Building New Bomb Shelters?

The Cold War has long been over, yet Russia seems to be prepping for war. Why? Russia Today reports that it’s a “precaution.” (emphasis mine):
Nearly 5,000 new emergency bomb shelters will be built in Moscow by 2012 to save people in case of potential attacks.
Moscow authorities say the measure is urgent as the shelters currently available in the city can house no more that half of its population.
In the last 20 years, the area of air-raid defense has been developed little, and the existing shelters have become outdated. Moreover, they are located mostly in the city center, which makes densely populated Moscow outskirts especially vulnerable in the event of a nuclear attack.
In order to resolve the issue, the city has given architects a task to construct a typical model of an easy-to-build shelter that will be located all over the city 10 to 15 meters underneath apartment blocks, shopping centers, sport complexes and parks, as in case of attack people will need to reach the shelters within a minute.

There is much, much more underground construction going on that has been kept out of the public eyes that would astonish the public, which would lead to a NEW line of questions. But none of this is for protection of nuclear radiation. It’s another kind of radiation that has them concerned.

I know it is hard to see them as brothers when we always see on the news one of them is trying to do something. But you have to get to know people individually. I really don’t care if you stereotype or have a preconceived notion about how a person will act, but just be willing to let a person change your mind about them.

Indonesia has a small Christian population. How do they get along? I have muslim friends who are God fearing and loving people so I believe with the marine its a one on one matter but the islamic movement has been a very violent one example India?

The elites and those that can afford to pay for room in those shelters. They even have one right under the White House. There are people all over who are building their own bomb shelters as well. All I know is that I would not want to survive a nuclear bomb and have to live in a shelter for God only knows for how long.

Other governments are building underground as fast as they can,,,especially in the United States (and in places literally under your noses.) Of course, our government denies this. Watch verh closely and easily deduce for yourself. Supposedly he is the one who allowed that spy ring back in July or so to be cracked. Maybe this guy brought back extra information the Russians now have to change about, in the event of war with us.

Russians are doing space research and solar research. 2012 is the year of the cosmic cross…universe and gallaxy line up perpendicular to each other. No one really knows exactly what will happen (not the end of the world…but challenges to be sure). Weather change has nothing to do with human carbon production…look to the skys…look to the sun. look to space. There is alot going on “out there” right now. Russia’s space research has actually come out and stated that human influence on global warming is a myth…it is all related to solar activity that no one (other than them) is paying attention to.

Obviously, the worlds governments think strongly enough about this that there has been a frenzy of extremely large underground construction going on. What I can‘t understand is why they won’t share the information so many others can prepare, as well. Seed banks have been under a lot of heavy focus, as well. If there was such a low probablity of heavy solar radiation reaching earth and scorching it, why the hundreds of billions of dollars for the construction and supplies?
