Why focus on policy? The stir from today’s Obama news conference quickly zeroed in on the most important question: Where did the ring go?
Politico quickly tracked the Twittersphere:
“big to-do over potus not wearing his wedding ring today,” Tweeted The Hill’s Sam Youngman, who was at the presser.
They also noted that Michelle Obama has been known to do the same.
Politico then updated the official word from the White House:
A White House spokesman tells POLITICO that Obama’s ring is being repaired, though it’s unclear what needed to be fixed.
So there you go.

But I find it curious, for someone who claims to be Christian, P-BO sure appears to practice a lot of Muslim customs. I wonder if he will light menorahs in respect of the Jewish faith and have a nativity scene for the Christian faith this year? As I am sure he has a small Buda somewhere in the WH with a little spoonful of rice neatly offered, too. I am sure he will do these customs too… he preaches tolerance, right?

Both contain facts, support each other, have solid time frames, AND were typed on old manual typewriters. Obama was born in Kenya. It is authentically documented. Obama doesn’t have a birther problem. He has an eligibility problem.

If you are born abroad to one United States citizen and one foreign citizen, you may be considered a U.S. citizen if you meet the following requirements:
•One of your parents was a U.S. citizen when you were born.
•The parent who is a U.S. citizen has lived at least five years in the U.S. before you were born.
•The parent who is a U.S. citizen must have lived in the U.S. for at least two years of these five years after his/her fourteenth birthday.

Before you accuse others of ignorance, you might want to look up the rules for citizenship when Obama was born. They were changed afterwards (Nationality act of 1965) and citizenship was not applied retroactively.
Under the rules then, his mother was not old enough for long enough to confer citizenship if he was born outside the U.S., so it does matter if he was born in Kenya.
Obama was born in 1961 to a mother who was born in 1942, when she was 18 years, 8 months old.
The Nationality act of 1940 (revised 1952) states that his mother would have had to have been a resident of the United States for 10 years, at least five of which over the age of 14 in order to confer citizenship on a child born outside the U.S. Ann Dunham was not old enough when Obama was born.
So, if he was not born in country, he is not a citizen under tha laws in effect in 1961.
