TSA Fires Spell-Casting Officer Who Complained About Lax Airport Security

I’ve put a spell on you…
MSNBC reports:
Airport security officer Carole Smith was fired from the TSA after a co-worker accused her of witchcraft and putting a hex on her car. Her termination also came after she complained about lax security.
Though admitting to practicing Wicca, Smith claims she can’t actually do hexes. “If I could do that, if I had the power, and really thought that I could do something like, I wouldn’t have been working for TSA.” Smith worked as a TSA officer at New York’s Albany International Airport.
Though the TSA claims that she wasn’t fired for being a witch, her termination letter does mention this fact about her, along with a litany of other reasons (being late, taking a break without permission, yelling at a supervisor).
But her personnel file tells a different story. Apparently, she was a whistleblower: she repeatedly complained about the TSA being too lax in its security measures.
After she was accused of putting a spell on a co-worker, she claims that other officers even harassed her for being a witch and discriminated against her. “I would call for a bag check…I couldn’t get anyone to come over….I actually had to demand them to search the bag.”
According to the report, Smith wants people to know that witches are not dangerous. What‘s dangerous is the TSA’s lackadaisical approach to security.

Posted on March 28, 2011 at 11:51pmTo the So called Christians, whose derogatory comments have already filled up this blog….
This is America, in America, we have Freedom OF religion, If I choose to worship the Father, through the Son, that is my right, If others wish to worship the Earth, a Fly, whatever, that is their right. To make a derogatory comment on their choice, is both, to deny them the right as a American, AND, is not acting Christlike…. think on that a moment,,,, Christ never attacked those whom worshiped other gods, Christ attacked the religious, pompous A$$’s that put a yoke on his people.
Consider this,,,, Through Faith, a witch can cast a spell, hex, prayer, call it what you will, and some believe, something will happen. A christian, does the same thing, through faith. Remember, Christ said, whatsoever you bind in earth, is bound in heaven,,, Prayer, coupled with Faith, is a powerfull force,,,, just like electricity, it moves, and is neutral to its purpose, weather to good, or evil. There is no difference in effect, between a Christians, and a Non Christians Faith, when that faith, is utelized, so instead of attacking a persons FAITH, go to the heart of the matter, she was discriminated against as a result of her faith, and fired. Now THAT can happen to you next!
For those whom will want to complain about the source of the power, does it matter if you are killed by a bullet made in the USA? or a bullet made in China? No… in that aspect, the source does not matter, your still dead,,,instead, take Pauls advise, and instead of judging the person, JUDGE THE FRUITS of the person.

Posted on March 29, 2011 at 1:42amYou know what? You’re right.
My family (mostly) is Christian….but each (previous) Thanksgiving we‘re joined by my lesbian aunt who insists on giving thanks directly to the animal we’re eating instead of the Creator. We say HER prayer, not ours, that thanks God for putting the animals around that we’re able to eat (nor the vegetables we’re going to consume in great quantity….she leaves those out).
This past Thanksgiving we celebrated at my home, with just my brother and his family and mine. We prayed to God to bless our bounty, the food (ALL of the food), family, and LOVE that we were shown.
I like MY “family dinner” better……

Witches can be not so dangerous and downright dangerous! Any craft that delves in the supernatural can definitely be dangerous. Years ago, Code Pink called on local witches to use their craft against a military base. Anytime that someone doesn’t know the true nature of the source of power that they use, they put themselves and others in danger.
James 3:15 (NIV) Such “wisdom” does not come down from heaven but is earthly, unspiritual, of the devil.

Think of it as wanker behaviour modification conditioning. Or for advanced folks, attempt the new improved wicca wanker rancor reduction and JA/TSA conditioning. I’ve a friend who swears by TSA. Personally, if we got all the way through WWII and the cold war without DHS and TSA, I’d say sack the whole lot and make flying the sane again. Just sayin’.

Matter of fact, she’s one of the top wicca women in Ohio.
If it’s time to persecute people for their beliefs, then why not start with “God bless you”, which could be considered an incantation, a vex, and a curse from those who aren’t believers?

Posted on March 28, 2011 at 9:32pmHey, this isn’t about her being Wiccan. This is about a woman who‘s religious preference was used against her to deflect the fact that she is a whistleblower and the TSA doesn’t like that. This American Strega would rather have a fellow Strega provide security rather than the majority of idiots in the TSA now.

Posted on March 28, 2011 at 10:29pmThe story is “Woman loses religious discrimination suit, tries new angle.”
This is certainly not the popular definition of whistleblower. The type of example given in the video could apply to most people. No evidence that she was fired for filing a complaint against her supervisors is mentioned. They merely state that she did make the complaints.
The other interesting thing I see is that she doesn’t deny the hexing incident, but only denies being able to do a hex. That tells me that she must of given the co-worker a reason to report it. If I was randomly accused of using my Jedi mind tricks against a co-worker, my objection wouldn’t be towards my ability lack of Force powers, but rather that I have no idea why the co-worker would make such an accusation. If she threaten or intimidated another co-worker, even with their own ignorance, she deserved to be fired.

Posted on March 28, 2011 at 11:11pm*smacks forehead* Ok, as a pagan myself, I have to ask why religion was even brought into this? Sounds like someone was trying to do her job at least half way right and was being harassed by her co-workers and when she blew the whistle on those that weren’t doing their job, she was canned and can sue the crap out of them.
As a note to other pagans, do not tell ANYONE your religion no matter how much you love it unless you know the person VERY WELL. It is not their business and will occasionally lead to trouble for you when others find out.
I will stand up for a Christian’s right to worship and I would hope that in our beloved country, they would stand up for my right to worship as well.
(Sorry, tired of pagans getting a bad name because they don’t follow standard beliefs.)

I would say that Mrs. Pelosi is a warlock. (Old traditional term of warlock actually means traitor.) Then again, I think our government is populated with warlocks of both genders.
(Oh for wiccan’s, both men and women are considered witches. The traditional term of witch is not gender specific, it has only became so in modern times.)
