Last week Marc Lamont Hill declared that New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie would never be elected president because Christie is too fat (watch here). Now MSNBC host Christ Matthews is piling on with his own fat joke:

This is NOT what the founders foreseen about a free and responsible press, when is this going to stop, it’s brainwashing at its worse. While its true free speech was wanted by the founders, they cannot have wanted this. This has to stop, all the networks, all of them can stop this anytime they want and do their shows and newscast in a different way.

But, if all they can do is smear Chris Christy with “fat jokes” then the guy must be damn near perfect in every other way. He’s definitely a leader in my book as the pick for 2012.

P.S. His voice reminds me of that sketch in the Monty Python movie as one of the “Knights who say ‘Nih!’”. If they could combine Ariana Huffington’s voice saying “shrubbery” with his, the world would be doomed! The horror!!
