Wife Of Border Agent Sentenced to Prison for Rough Cuffing a Drug Suspect Speaks Out

As reported on The Blaze yesterday, Federal Agent Jesus Diaz was sentenced to two years in prison for allegedly roughing up a suspected drug runner who was caught with other illegals, bringing 150 pounds of marijuana across the border from Mexico into the US. Nationally syndicated radio host, and frequent Beck fill-in host, Joe Pagliarulo spoke in great detail with Jesus Diaz’s wife about the sentence. Some of the highlights:

- Diaz contends that he did no wrong.

- The suspect did not have any visible marks from “rough handcuffing.”

- Despite being caught smuggling drugs into the country and admitting that fact in court, the suspect received immunity for his testimony and walked away a free man.

- Agent Diaz has been in solitary confinement for eight months during this trial and his wife claims he has been shackled during the trial.

- A judge denied Agent Diaz bail, his wife Diana gave birth to a baby girl two weeks after her husband’s incarceration, he has never held their child.

You can listen to the full interview below:

Diaz was sentenced to 24 months in a federal prison. He will receive credit for the eight month already served, and will be eligible to move to a halfway house in 10 months.

The border is just one of the areas the American society is getting turned upside-down. If I told you once I’ve told you a thousand times it is about money and power. Just like they are turning the police dept into the criminals and the thugs into the victims. It’s all about targeting the middle-class in America for destruction. And then, they are going to drain every last dime from the middle-class. And if you won’t listen to a servant of God, then who will you listen to?

I hate this guy. Everytime he replaces Beck, he ends-up yelling at callers (and also he says dumb stuff). It makes me angry.

re: The Border Guard. I think it’s funny how he gets punished for roughing-up an illegal trespasser from mexico, and yet if he roughs-up citizens on Interstate Highway Checkpoints (as happened with Pastor Anderson) then he would get off free.

      Ridiculous.

The judge is immaterial since ANY judge on this case would have been ordered by the DOJ to find him guilty no matter what!
Agent Diaz was initially found to be innocent of any wrong-doing by the Border Patrol after investigating the incident. It was our own DEPARTMENT OF “JUSTICE” who wrongfully convicted Diaz as a warning to other agents to back off from doing their jobs too well!
The judge should have refused to hear the case if he was any sort of man at all….but the DOJ would have merely shopped the case to another judge with no balls to hear it.
ERIC HOLDER should be removed immediately at the federal attourney general for his pro-black bigotry, his criminal actions in the “Fast and Furious” case, and for this false imprisonment of an agent who has done nothing wrong……KICK THEM ALL OUT IN 2012!

Guess the Blaze didn’t think that my last comment was relevant to this case..But it is!! As most of you who have read my comments before..at first I liked Romney..because of his stance of wanting to save Social Security and Medicare..Then I thought Cain might be okay..because I like some of what he had to say. But then there’ s this wee little problem with him having been chairman of the Federal Reserve and not wanting them audited..now I have come to believe that all involved are the NWO guys except for Ron Paul. Even though I didn’t agree with some of what he had to say..I do agree that it is high time we start over with our Constitution and have less government and more “we the people.” This is critical people…I don’t know about you guys, but I am sick of this criminal that we have in office.. And to vote for anything other than our Constitution will render more of the same…and pretty soon all of our rights will be taken..just like the George Soros funded (42 million) Rose Revolution in Georgia. Soros has funded 5 major revolutions in other countries and has his Pope/Islam/NWO man in office right here. If anyone doubts the connections..pay better attention to some of the posts..

BY THE WAY This is the same U.S. Attorney’s office that tried to send Agents Ignacio Ramos and Jose Compean to prison for 12 years because they shot a drug smuggler who was attempting to evade arrest and escape back into Mexico. And the same U.S. Attorney’s office charged Deputy Gilmer Hernandez with violating the constitutional rights of a criminal illegal alien because he shot out the tires of a vehicle that attempted to run him over.

U.S. District Judge Alia Moses Ludlum in San Antonio was the judge.

Smuggling people and drugs across the border is BIG money. This money brings with it corruption. It would be very difficult for any judge to be fair when faced with bribes and intimidation. Any judge or prosecutor that won’t take the money will need to have bodyguards for years.

The border guards can be bribed also. The drug smuggler in the story had 150 pounds of marijuana. This is worth tens of thousands of dollars. The border patrol management can direct the agents away from the drug routes.

The Justice Department isn’t interested in controlling smuggling across the border. The number of arrests and prosecutions is at a low. Homeland Security has a “go-slow” policy on deportations. After three years, Obama has yet to name a head of the Drug Enforcement Agency.

The Wall Street Bankers love the large amount of cash that is generated by the drug trade. When was the last time there was a bust for money laundering?

Then demand from legislatures that the yeither reign in Holder-that he stop harrassing states for trying to enforce illigal immigration laws by implementing similar laws[federal laws trump state laws but state laws can imitate federal laws] and demand that the federal government start enforcing it’s federal laws-and if he refuses demand that legislatures start impeachment proceedings against him or Obama if he answers only to Obama and Obama fails to reign him in. If legislatures refuse these[legal and just ]demands then notify them that the people will occupy the district of colombia until they do.Who do they think they are -flagrantly telling the people they not only will not enforce federal laws they happen not to like but will harrass states who try to.Outrageous, treasonous and tyranical disregard for the constitution, our laws, the states and the people who bear the brunt of the effects of illigal immigration.

It seems to me a warning or dismissal would be more appropriate than jail time (assuming it even happened).

The UNITED STATE JUDICAL SYSTEM IS FAST BECOMING AN ENEMY OF THE STATE. IT’S TIME TO TAKE DOWN THIS MONSTER THAT PLAYS PARTISAN POLITICS WHILE CALLING ITSELF A JUSTICE SYSTEM

The Department of Injustice strikes again. The only people in danger are the honest citizens. The Feds are running out of criminals to incarcerate, must keep the money flowing so go after the innocent. Can anybody have faith in justice with Eric Holder as the Attorney General?

Let’s even say the agent roughed him up, sentencing the agent to 2 years whie letting the drug smuggler walk away a free man is absolutely wrong.

Wow – the inmates are clearly running the asylum. This poor guy sits in jail for doing his job and Eric Holder is a free man!

There would be the crime, Holder should be in jail for the gun runner mess alone, the rest should be enough for the needle. Justice would then and only then be served. His boss should be their with him but I suppose he has immunity.

They should just shoot these smugglers. Obama is doing that with the terrorists and some of them are US citizens.

Why not? As a result of immunity he has not prior convictions.
