WikiLeaks’ Assange (Again) Walks Out of Interview After Rape Inquiries

After his release on bail from custody, WikiLeaks‘ founder Julian Assange met with ABC News’ Jim Sciutto after the reporter inquired about specific details of the ongoing sexual assault investigation of Assange in Sweden. Assange refused to answer the questions, opting instead to walk off the interview set, calling Sciutto a “tabloid schmuck.”
In a similar scenario, Assange abruptly ended an interview with CNN in October after the reporter began inquiring about the rape allegations against him. At the time, Assange insisted the interview focus solely on his organization’s release of numerous classified U.S. government documents regarding the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, but when questions turned to a personal nature, Assange walked away.

Posted on December 18, 2010 at 12:49amHere, again simple solutions that would’ve kept Manning from ever removing those documents:
Lockdown the USB ports:
http://becomingparanoid.com/2006/04/28/usb-security-how-to-lock-down-the-ports/
Remove any DVD/CD Burner from the PC he had access to. Most computers these days don’t even have disk drives anymore and it should be a system where by no email or external network access was allowed, so now ftp’ing, no emailing, its a view only system and if something needed to printed out, again it would show who printed it out, what printer and at what time…
There is no way this low level slug should’ve been able to get this kind of data out, if so, then pretty much this means all of the enemies of the US could pretty much have gotten spies enlisted and gotten into a position such as this to just copy at will whatever intelligence information that they wanted…
This more and more just doesn’t add up, the military could not be this sloppy, something is truly wrong with this picture and this Assange guy is a nobody and a nothing, he isn’t even news, what needs all our focus is Manning and why our military isn’t even using basic Document Control software and safeguards and why was a computer allowed access to classified information that was wide open to plug whatever the hell a guy wanted into it to download materials…
This just isn’t adding up.

Posted on December 17, 2010 at 11:59pmIt’s an ongoing case, still in the early stages – it‘s his personal business and he is innocent until proven guilty as far as I’m concerned. Wikileaks is the real story making huge waves with drops of these documents, and this guy wants to talk to Assange about his personal life and to get him confess to rape on TV?

to watch a full length feature video about Julian Assange and WikiLeaks. It is well worth it, and it brings you up to speed on the whole affair of internet information and data presentation to an awakening world, that’s being deceived by its ruling class. As Glenn Beck keeps saying, he points out that he’s not making this stuff up, he’s using their own words against them, well isn’t Julian Assange using their own words and writings against them? You decide.

Posted on December 17, 2010 at 11:48pmIn the CNN interview, one could see the interviewer wasn‘t listening or heeding Julian Assange’s advice and persisted to press him on an issue far removed from the more important issue he was their to address. Why is it that these amateur interviewers believe that they and they alone will be the ones to uncover and expose some ambushed surprised response, that will therefore make them as important as or a household name and famous in their own write, when that’s not their real job, their job is to listen and to probe and to focus on the real story at issue, the one that affects many lives, and not just the salacious details that they will never unearth, from one of the world’s greatest unearthers. Makes one cheer when someone takes a stand and refuses to subject oneself to an inquisition from a junior member of the media press corps. CNN should’ve given this talking head a verbal lashing for messing up the interview and perhaps losing in the process a major scoop. The trouble is their CNN’s junior female interviewer wanted to dance into the bedroom when the real story was happening right in front of her in the room she was already in. Hopefully she’ll learn from this episode, how to conduct herself in the future when talking with a professional information handler, something that right now, she herself can’t handle.
Report Post »The real story is not Julian Assange but those he’s reporting on through WikiLeaks, but the news media wish to keep the public mind off of those stories, so they address the other. It’s called diversion, and they and the public being served by these WikiLeaks reports are the losers for allowing themselves to be sidetracked by these alphabet news makers that are either told what to ask or haven’t a clue.

Posted on December 17, 2010 at 11:33pmTotally coverup. They will use wikileaks to censor the internet. The UN is already moving forward with internet censorship and we know the FCC is meeting on the 21st. Buy a printer with plenty of paper, you will need it to pass out information in about a year.

Posted on December 18, 2010 at 12:32amExactly — Never let a good disaster go to waste, or something like that…
Its like, they artificially create these issues, these problems so that the govt or God help us all… the UN has to come to the worlds aid, but shuttering information, censorship, control of global communications, free speech and information…
Maybe if the military had better security protocols in place, this wouldn’t have happened and quite frankly it astounds me, is this MUST be some kind of fabricated setup… A company I consulted with back in the 90′s installed a document “check in/check out” system for a very large legal firm in Philly and there was accountability, tracking and alerts, also why on earth are they allowing USB ports or any form of data OUT enabled on any of these machines?!?!? Even in hospitals, if you want to print out a document, it actually will record who the person is who requested the print job, time and what printer it went to….
So if Manning was copying gigs of data, without any kind of parameters as to what he should/shouldn’t be allowed to access and was just blanket copying, this should’ve been easily noticed, it should’ve set off some kind of security triggers and an Admin shouldve taken notice…
Me thinks this could very well have been an orchestrated “event” to allow these materials to leak purposefully for the ultimate goal of just what is happening now… an FCC illegal attempt to control the US internet and a UN attempt to control free speech…
I think we need to stop looking at the one hand and pay attention to what the other is up to, because the way this whole Lady GaGa copying fiasco has been told, it should’nt have been possible, unless some very high up’s, perhaps all the way up to the Executive Level’s, allowed it to to happen.

Posted on December 17, 2010 at 10:55pmSorry msm, if the agreement is made beforehand not to bring up the seemingly bogus charges against Assange via interview and the nitwit talking head doesn’t heed the agreement, I don’t blame him or anyone else from doing the same.
Too bad we haven’t seen the same done to plenty of talking heads in the last three decades or so regarding interviews with the repub/conservative side of life, they need to buy a clue from this example from Assange, grow a spine and you’d be surprised how you would eventually be treated if this were done in unison over time repubs.

If you want to see something really disturbing go watch the 3rd Matrix movie and compare Assange with “The Frenchman” who appears at the beginning of the movie. There are some creepy similarities, almost like the movie Inception’s plot with a dream in a dream in a dream, which is which?

Posted on December 18, 2010 at 1:51pmThe story is not the sex allegation. The story is the idiot reporter who asked the question knowing full well that Assange can not answer it. And, often times the person being interviewed has put out ground rules on the questions to be asked prior to the interview. I would suggest that the reporter violated the ground rules.

Posted on December 18, 2010 at 12:05pmJulian Assange has got to be one of the greatest ironies of all time for liberals and their media to manage . . .
Michael Moore figured it out a long time ago because he’ll obviously put anything into his mouth. But judgment of Mr. Assange aside, the great irony surrounding the issue of his purpose, and how liberals approach the dissemination of truth, they’re literally inviting a pyromaniac with a bucket of gas to stand in the middle of their smoking-room.
It’s as if they don’t understand why he’s here . . . Living in a constant state of irony and contradiction must make you blind to reality even when it’s staring you in the face from mere inches away.
