Wild Video: Citizens Jump in to Help as Naked Man Fights With Cops

A couple of helpful citizens assisted police in the arrest of a man who showed up at a Sacramento welding shop asking for a job in nothing but his birthday suit.
The Sacramento Police Department received a call of a naked man causing a disturbance at Johnson Welding Fabrication in the 1600 block of Juliesse Avenue.
“I turned around and this naked man is walking into my shop,” said owner Chris Johnson.
The man was speaking incoherently in Spanish and even told bystanders to call police, according to witnesses.
When officers arrived to the scene the suspect, who has been identified as Jose Ayala, 36, resisted arrest and began to fight officers.
Ayala grabbed a female officer’s hair and refused to let go even after being taken to the ground by a pair of officers.
That’s when Johnson, who’d been recording the incident on his iPhone jumped in to help.
“I ran over, punched him in the face and they all three went on the ground,” said Johnson.
“There was like five people on him, still having a hard time holding him down,” Chris said. “There was only so many parts you could grab.”

Then the cop tries to take him to the ground. Why? The guy clearly doesn’t have a weapon. If the guy is walking along with you and headed toward your car, just walk him over there, don’t try to throw him on the ground. Coerce the naked high guy with drugs or something, say hey we’re going to go get you a job. The police need to stop trying to man handle people all the time.

Or, maybe if you were the cop, you’d recognize this guy might have a mental problem or be on drugs, realize he might go off, and try and get him in handcuffs before transporting him, etc. But hey, what do cops know? We only deal with it 24/7.

I was not in that situation. However, you being a cop, are you so stupid, as to attempt to take down a person without your partner having control of the other arm first. That moron, grabbed him by the arm and tried to trip him to the ground without his partner close by to assist. Did he not think a drugged out naked man would resist? He put everybody else’s life in danger by not following proper procedure. Unless procedures have changed, and it is proper now to try and trip a guy to the ground while only have 1 hand on his arm.
I guess since you deal with it 24/7 you must be a robot who lacks any sense of empathy, decency or actual knowledge, but what do I know? I am not a douche bag, who thinks I can treat people however I want because I wear a badge.
