Wild Video: Leopard Attack Injures Six in Indian Village

JAIPUR: Six people, including three forest officials, were injured in a leopard attack under Bonli police station in Sawai Madhopur district on Saturday.

According to police sources, the condition of the DFO (social forestry) is said stable and out of danger.

Police said two villagers of Somwas village spotted a leopard at 7 am and while chasing the animal, it attacked them. When the news spread the people from the neighbouring villages went to have a glimpse of the animal. The police and forest officials also reached the spot.

However, the frightened animal, in its attempt to escape, injured a forest official. The officials were preparing to tranquillise the leopard. DFO (social forestry) R C Meena came close to the leopard and the wild animal attacked him causing serious injuries to his head.

    This what happens when a country doesn’t allow it citizen to own guns. It also how the progressives are giving right to wild animals as if they were humans. Any smart person with a gun would have just shot it and put it down. Here in So cal the problem is coyotes and mountain lions. They need to brought into control but PETA is just going to block every thing and let them get out of control. The coyotes are already out of control.

    These Aholes deserve everything the leopard gave them and more. If you’re going to kill the damm thing kill it, but don’t go poking it with stick and throwing rocks at it and expect it not to get mad and fight back. After all this one leopard probably has more guts that the whole villiage of idiots combined.

    What kind of idiot pokes a cat, that weighs more then he does, with a stick? That cat likes meat, can jump a lot higher and run a lot faster, then the guy with the stick. There’s a video on one of those reality shows of a guy hitting a black bear with a stick. It had the same results, a lot of stitches.

      But in my environment we have a thing that goes bang and animals become steak. Just as the leopard likes to eat so do I. I like being on the top of the food chain and not one notch below the leopard and that’s how nature works. So when you receive your greenpeace flyer or magazine just remember they just need you to send in some money so some elite can lie to you about what it means to acquire a good steak.

      Nah, trade the camcorder for the Progressives; put them in front of the leopard and then douse them with steak sauce. Leopard will not be hungry for many a day on that feast.

      I have, I love the snow leopards and to see one close up you understand the sheer majesty and the wild untamed nature they each posess. One is reported to have raided a researcher party camp for the slabs of bacon inside the cooks supplies while the group was off looking for the same cat.

      Go figure.

      My guess is the leopard was offended by the leopardskin dress of some of the villagers, so he wanted to make his own fashion statement.

      Leopards are fairly common among the larger cities of India, this has been an ongoing problem, just as the man-eating tigers in the mangrove swamps the honey gatherers have to deal with. To these leopards and tigers, we are just a large potential happy meal that occasionally fights back.

      Guess PETA will start a new branch of their movment in India called PEBL = People Eaten By Leopards.
