More information has surfaced concerning yesterday’s popular story about the Iowa man who was arrested for driving under the influence… with a zebra and a parrot in his pickup truck.
The Blaze has tracked down the local police department’s interaction with the patrol officers who responded. And it is as entertaining as you might expect. For example, one officer asks, “Will the Zebra fit in the squad if we need to?”
Then there’s this from the same officer: “Did you find the Parrot?”
“Yeah,” another officer responds, “it’s in the trunk. I think it’s a macaw.”
