A Wisconsin Democrat offered up an apology Monday for comments he made on the Assembly floor last week immediately following a vote on Gov. Scott Walker’s contentious budget repair bill. Rep. Gordon Hintz apologized to Republican Rep. Michelle Litjens for shouting a threatening obscenity that a number of witnesses heard amid the loud uproar after the chamber’s GOP majority successfully passed the bill.
According to local WTMJ news radio, a number of witnesses heard Hintz shout “You’re f***ing dead!” at Litjens.
Litjens says she has accepted Hintz’s apology, but has asked the Assembly leadership to discipline him. “Everyone was exhausted. We were on the floor 58 hours. (But) there is still no excuse for his comment,” Litjens said.
Hintz was one of many outspoken Democratic state lawmakers who also loudly chanted “Shame! Shame! Shame!” following the vote, pointing to the Republican members exiting the chamber.
The Assembly Democrat also delivered fiery remarks on the floor, condemning the state GOP’s decision to press forward with the budget measure, despite objections from some Democrats:
Meanwhile, Litjens says she doesn‘t believe Hintz’s comments were personally aimed at her, but reflected the Democrat’s frustration with his Republican colleagues. “We should be able to civilly discuss issues we are passionate about without feeling threatened,” she said.
“I believe my response was shock,” Hintz said Monday after phoning Litjens to apologize. “The only way they were going to pass this bill was by ignoring and shredding rules of the Assembly,” Hintz said. “I apologized when I learned my comments may have been taken personally by someone.”
Just one week earlier, Hintz had been cited in connection to a busted prostitution ring and for violating a city sexual misconduct ordinance in Appleton.
“I am willing to take responsibility for my actions,” Hintz said in the statement at the time. “My concern right now is that my personal situation is distracting from the much more important issue facing our state. We have tens of thousands of working people at the Capitol every day and that must remain our focus. I will continue to do my job and stand up for Wisconsin’s working families.”

Posted on February 28, 2011 at 8:02pmExcuse me but it doesn’t matter if he made that remark to one or all of the GOP, he threatened to kill someone. If a member of the GOP had made that comment that would be in jail right now. This idiot should not be walking the streets of Madison let alone representing law abiding citizens.

Posted on February 28, 2011 at 8:41pmThe difference between Democrats and Republicans are the constituents. Its that simple.
From the Democratic lawmakers who left Wisconsin and Indiana, to this putz who issued a very public death-threat. The base is made up of the most evil, and morally bankrupt people on this planet. These spineless Democrat lawmakers behave in this morally repugnant manner, because they will not be held accountable for it by their evil, baby-killing base.
Republicans on the other hand? Are mostly the same as the Democrats! The difference being, they have to remain in the “closet”, because the Republican base will crucify them very quickly.
Which is more evil? The Democrats who have taken off the mask? Or the Republicans who pretend that they are different?

Report Post »It‘s very sad that we’ve come to expect uncouth, boorish behavior like this from libs. For them to behave otherwise seems to not be in their character.
Rep. Litjens was far more gracious and forgiving than she needs to be, but that‘s what we’ve come to expect from conservatives.
On balance, I’m sticking with the conservatives.

This is exactly the type of bad behavior that many of us have experienced when we try to contact our Democrat state reps. If you are a conservative and not on their side, they shut down your speech immediately, threaten, belittle, etc. This is nothing new for those of us that live in Wisconsin. Posted on February 28, 2011 at 8:45pmI guess the Progs don’t like “we have to pass the bill to find out what’s in the bill” when the shoe is on the other foot, not that this legislative action by Republicans in any way compares to the actions of “I won” and “elections have consequences” Comrades Pelosi and Obama who are owned lock, stock, and barrel by the Socialist/Communist-controlled unions.
Hintz ought to thank his lucky stars that *I* am not Governor, as I’d simply eliminate public-sector unions altogether. After all, FDR, who Obama has fancied himself as emulating, was totally against public sector unionizing as it guarantees union/government corruption.
Looks like FDR was right about at least one thing.
Too bad the Progs have such infamously selective and/or faulty memories when it comes to history. They must have had union teachers.

The only thing left after threats of death…or…well, you know. Does Mao or Stalin or Lenin or Hitler ring a bell? This is the end result of electing children. Electing children that throw temper tantrums. The biggest problem is when the temper tantrums come from adults (acting like children) who have power, it always ends in something bad. At best, regulating and taxes and at worst…death. In either case we pay the price. And if there is no one to stand up to these petulant children, freedom will be lost. One way or another. Gov. Scott Walker on Monday afternoon responded to comments President Barack Obama made earlier in the day about the protests in Madison:
Walker’s office issued this statement:
“I’m sure the President knows that most federal employees do not have collective bargaining for wages and benefits while our plan allows it for base pay. And I’m sure the President knows that the average federal worker pays twice as much for health insurance as what we are asking for in Wisconsin. At least I would hope he knows these facts.
“Furthermore, I’m sure the President knows that we have repeatedly praised the more than 300,000 government workers who come to work every day in Wisconsin.
“I’m sure that President Obama simply misunderstands the issues in Wisconsin, and isn’t acting like the union bosses in saying one thing and doing another.”

The events since this all started have shown a cpl things
1) Dems, I mean socialists cannot control themselves/ emotions
2) Socialists are complete cowards who runaway instead of staying and fighting. The republicants showed they could take it last year when HC was rammed down the country’s throat. No one ran away to stop the vote then claim they were doing their job by running away
3) Unions are beyond corrupt are not working for workers but for themselves and their ability to control state/federal govt’s
4) Protesters on the side of socialist politicians are clearly uninformed, unless you count getting their facts from their masters/handlers. Furthermore they only believe in the BIll of Rights when it applies to them ; ie “Fox News lies” chants and attempts to stop Fox news reporters broadcasts.
5) Radicals are joining forces, using unions and those in attendance at these protests, to destroy Western way of life.
6) MSM approves of all of this as they are clearly aware and do not care otherwise we would see coverage of this all.
7) Republic is in danger
This is just going to snowball as more legislation comes up in other states trying to fix their deficits etc, we will see more outcries by socialist politicians like Hintz. This is not isolated it will continue and will escalate sooner or later…..

This attitude will also permeate your life and begin to spread to others. Even their former supporters will begin to distance themselves from them. Each one of them that lash out must become an object of public contempt and derision. When they act out in groups, (and they will); they must be impugned and ostracized as a group. They freely associate with each other; so they can bear the guilt of that association. It doesn’t matter what they call themselves; socialist, communist, fascist liberal, progressive, etc… They are all guilty of heresy against the very foundational liberty and individual dignity that is America. We won’t fill camps with them (labor camps, relocation camps, reeducation camps, death camps); that is their way. We will simply make it obvious that they have to get their minds right. Perhaps many of them will leave America.

Posted on February 28, 2011 at 11:02pmYeah, Home of the Brave – he’s got some issues. Not only was he “cited” for involvement in the prostitution ring, but first he tried to weasle out of making the threat.
“I apologized when I learned my comments may have been taken personally by someone.”
Well, now, who’d a thunk that someone would take a comment like that as real serious. I mean, really.
When that trial balloon failed, he tried to use his recent “situation” as an excuse!
“I am willing to take responsibility for my actions,” Hintz said in the statement at the time. “My concern right now is that my personal situation is distracting from the much more important issue facing our state.”
Ya think?
Tell me, Mr. Hintz, if you had a daughter and she was serving in your legislature when some guy from the opposite party screamed the same words at her, what would you do?
So, will you hand in your resignation now or tomorrow?

Posted on March 1, 2011 at 12:42amquoted by Michael Walsh in yesterday’s New York Post, Franklin D.Roosevelt said:
“All government employees should realize that the process of collective bargaining, as usually understood, cannot be transplanted into public service. It has its distinct and insurmountable limitations when applied to public-personnel management. The very nature and purposes of government make it impossible for administrative officials to represent fully or to bind the employer in mutual discussions with government employee organizations. The employer is the whole people.”

Posted on March 1, 2011 at 9:51amI hate how the main stream media just ignores hate speeches from the left and the violence we see them producing. they fabricates stories that its the Tea Party that is filled with violent rhetoric and people, and they do this without any proof. Granted this does not surprises me at all, but i am sick of it, and I feel a ugly chapter in our history is getting ready to unfold.
This aggressive talk and behavior we are seeing out of the left is because, they are angry. They were so close to over turning capitalism and turning us into another failed socialist state and they expected the Conservatives to shut up and cower, because they are convinced liberalism has one the hearts and minds of the people. To their surprise this did not happen and along comes their worst nightmare an energized active group of Conservatives that finally stood up and said ENOUGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! However, be reminded that this fight is just starting, and the Tea Party has to grow stronger and gain more ground, because the Socialist left is not going to give up, and I fear that soon this is going to stop being a peaceful “us vs them” scenario.
It is already clear that the left is a powder keg, just waiting for a spark. We have now seen videos of these savages smacking women with cameras, pushing Tea Party members, kicking Black Conservatives on the ground, going into Tea Party crowds and pushing poeple into a fence then run off, these liberal thugs are waiting for a fight. While I disdain violence, if they pick a fight with me, after they throw the first punch it will be them laying on the ground. While we should never be the ones starting a fight, we need to be ready as one might be coming towards us. This is not a time to back down.
