Appearing on Fox News Sunday, Governor Scott Walker stressed that his administration is “looking at every option,“ but believes his plan is ”the right thing for Wisconsin.”
When host Chris Wallace asks how collective bargaining privileges affect the current budget process, Walker stressed that equipping local governments with tools they need to manage local budgets is a key step in ensuring the state’s future fiscal solvency.

Posted on February 20, 2011 at 9:50pm@KILLA FROM WASILLA “Can anyone say 1 term Governor?”
When he’s not, and he won’t be, will all the Democrats shut their holes? Really, when the state speaks up, and supports him, will all the idiot union goons go away?
Only 7% of the population belong to a union. Some of those DON”t like unions, but happen to work in a field that is unionized. Those are NOT enough numbers to make any real change. Sorry…enough to protest, but no lasting change. The majority of the people in this country are conservative. Facts, just the facts.

Posted on February 20, 2011 at 9:30pmLet’s see, the teachers in Wisconsin are stealing from the people they work for with their fake little sick in, setting a shameful example of ethics, and laying a template for their students on how to grow up and be a completely self centered ass like they are.
Report Post »Oh no! Heaven forbid these teachers pay for a pittance of their own benefits, now that Wisconsin can’t afford to lug them around anymore without some help. Don’t you feel sorry for the poor little victims?
Does anybody else find it strange that a big group of teachers can’t do basic math? What part of “We don’t have the money” don’t these people understand?
As if the stool in Wisconsin wasn’t backed up enough, throw in Dick Trumpka, Barry Obama, and some derelict Democratic senators, and you’ve got a five alarm plumbing emergency!

I can’t abide this stuff…I do not support it, and I was myself a government employee, vested and have retirement coming for the last 5 years which I have yet to claim. I’m still working my butt off everyday. I am sick of people who expect the taxpayers to support their entitlement way of life. They should be paying what the rest of us have to pay…I have no health insurance through my job, and we pay out the butt for my husbands, private union insurance plan…retirement is contributed equally what we pay in and what the employer pays in. We are now in our 60′s still working, helping to support grandkids that our kids can’t pay for because they are taxed to death. My son is a laborer, piece worker, and makes decent money, but only by his hard work, and his wife is a nurse, in a nursing home..between the two of them make about the same as my husband and I…and we all had to pay MORE in taxes this year above what we paid, claiming zero and withholding at the higher single rate…something is wrong with this picture. My son has 10 people living in his household he is supporting…along with his wife. There is something bad wrong with this tax system. That is all I can say.

Posted on February 20, 2011 at 9:02pmAmen LadyDa. This is just another example of throwing good money after bad. These people have had it so good for so long, and when the taxpayers get sick of supporting their wasteful spending, they just want to propocate more of it. They don’t seem to get the message. We as a civilization cannot afford the spending that has continued for years and years. We’re broke people, China owns us, and if we do not do something now, it will soon be a way of life that none of us want to deal with. Do you know that in China, even most “middle Class” folks don’t have heat??? They use hot water bottles to keep warm when the weather turns cold which is a lot of the time. I know this because of our girl who works for my company who lives in China. These folks want to be CHINA??? Just keep this crap up…we are closer than they think..Selfish, stupid, and “gotta get mine” is the way I look at all this. If we had a real meltdown, and the resources were to dry up…these same people would be coming to take YOURS….it is their mentality. They will do whatever they need to do to take what YOU have away from you because they are like the Grasshoppers in “A Bugs Life”…they will come to take away from us Ants. The workers, the ones who take care of themselves and don’t ask for help from the government…when the bad times hit, the Grasshoppers will come breaking down our door, because they were not prepared. They are use to having it all taken care of for them.

Taxes are supposed to fund andoinly fund necessary needs of services and security of our states and fed Gov. as we have seen, the states are financially broke, our fed gov has totally given up on national security and is so in debt, that we cant ever fix this mess! but yet the public unions are forcing more spending at the peril of the whole!
