Wisconsin High School Targeted by ‘Union Leaders’ Over Pro-Walker Chant

Wisconsin High School students may want to think twice before expressing their political opinions when union members are present. Apparently the school, whose students shouted pro-Walker slogans while visiting the Wisconsin State Capitol and drowned out union protesters, is now receiving threats from the very unions that some of their students shouted down. The Sheboygan Press reports on this rather petty turn:

The resulting furor since the event has surprised school officials and state Sen. Joe Leibham, a Lutheran High alumnus who invited the group to the Capitol for a photo with the team and a celebratory reception.

“Friday morning, we had a couple of nasty phone calls all of a sudden,” said Jim Pingel, Lutheran’s executive director. “People identified themselves as union leaders, protesters. They were passive-aggressive, menacing.”

Liberal activists called the school to complain, and conservative talk radio hosts have spent days discussing the students’ actions. Charlie Sykes of WTMJ-AM in Milwaukee wrote in an online blog post that the students “decided to fight back against the anti-Walker sentiment they were witnessing during an impromptu visit.”

The students are apparently bemused by the whole thing – the school has a variety of political viewpoints represented, and one student even expressed the opinion that the issue might possibly have been blown out of proportion. Some say the original incident was just an episode of school spirit that coincidentally went political. Whatever the reason, let’s hope union members and activists have bigger fish to fry in Wisconsin than high school students.

    This is a private school where Marxist indoctrination is not likely taking place so they are at risk from these union thugs. The school should begin publishing the names of those who call. The public will put a stop to it immediately.

      The high school kids have the very same rights as any of the greedy union pigs! Now they are threatening children? We can see how low these inhuman thugs will go. Of course they thought it was just fine and dandy when they brought high schoolkids there with them to join in their protest! These are the most despicable type of people (those calling the school). See, they can dish it out but they can’t take it!

    Does anyone out there still think Glenn is crazy for his feelings about this administration? If you do, you need to call your doctor and schedule your lobotomy immediately. Glenn was spot on with his predictions about what the O government would do to this country. I am only surprised at how far they‘ve gone and how fast they’ve gotten there.

We should or they should do what? Be cowed by threats for doing what those making threats did (aka free speech?) No way. How about this ‘should’: threats will not be tolerated and they will get the book thrown at them in court!

    The left must silence their opposition, because their ideas have failed miserably, and lead only to broke, busted, miserable, starving nations.

      Holdup and the DOJ will bring charges against the students for protesting the peaceful union demonstration. After all, according to Sweet Old Barack and Holdup, the unions could not possibly be in the wrong, the New Black Panther poll watcher was armed with a union made billy club. Thats another reason he was pardoned by Holdlup.

      What is sad is that at the next election, there are going to be mobs of these ‘panther-types’ outside polling places across the country intimidating people from voting. I hope others will do as we are here and go to our polling places to ensure intimidation does not happen.

      Organize groups to watch polling places so we can have as fair an election as possible. It‘s time for us to stand up and say ’Enough is enough!’ and put at stop to this nonsense.

    Kentucky………..I had to walk away from the computer and calm down after an earlier story . There seem to be an awful lot of people who think that they have the right to make threats if they don’t get their way. They threaten violence if you disagree with them.     Unions were benificial in the 50s and 60s. After that we had laws to protect the workers. Now the unions are provokers. I used to work in a steel mill where you had to belong. There was no choice. The unions now have too much political clout. Like a baby trying to get its way, it will try every trick in the book to get its way. They will fight to keep it the way it is for them.

      Think many of our unions are tied into the International Left Movement which is basically a Communist, activist , anarchist ( if need be to “get their way ” ) group whose allegiance is not within American borders. They are part of this ” superior, ” atheistic, Communist group of political fanatics who view their politics with the fanaticism of a religious zealot. Communism on steroids. A force which must be confronted. Now.

    YAY! Good for those pro-Walker students!!! That’s encouraging….the libs probably are going nuts b/c they are not used to being countered – usually get their way with the media to help.
    This is VERY important about what happens to Walker – I live in Texas but this will affect whether the evil unions will be given a well-deserved, albeit belated blow!!! This fight needs to spread to other states. Protest away, kids!!!!

      I agree. We saw our first views of an Occupy in Wisconsin when the unions bused in people from all over and they refused to leave the building. The Occupy Movement was hatched there. The public unions/ Democrats/ Communists started their Assault on the American Taxpayer there. Remember the MIC checks later on the Republican candidates ? I know I won’t forget seeing that disgusting bullying. Oh, and then the RunAway Illinois legislators. Guess that was a declaration that these dudes are not really Americans. They were displaying their true colors as union, bullying, Communists which Pivens has just confirmed !

    He is a sovereign individual, no other entity can invade that sovereignty; that is the beauty of a Republic, the power is in THE PEOPLE. (not a a body politic, but as individuals – we are literally kings of our own life) With that in mind, and if this kid were smart, if they try to silence him further – he should bring them to common law court for trying to suppress his self ownership in speech. Make sure he gets a jury of his peers that understand common law and individual sovereignty and he would win in a heart beat. We need to start fighting government oppression, along with all other oppression, in the court of records, or common law courts. We have the power, NOT the government.
