Wisconsin Protesters Teach Kids to Chant Against Gov. Walker

Ann Althouse:

Hey, teachers!

You’ve got them chanting “Hey hey, ho ho, Scott Walker has got to go” — but what do they know about Scott Walker?

What a perfect example of ‘why the NEA’ should be abolished! In the past four weeks, you ‘educators’ have taught the kids to skip school, get a fake excuse and lie to their teacher about it, trash the inside of the Capitol building – including smoking pot -, stand hand in hand with Communists, who want to take everyone’s freedom by destroying this nation, threaten politicians and their families with death if you don’t get your way and teach children to chant what YOU believe.

Don‘t ever wonder why Americans have had it with your ’education’ union. And, don‘t quesiton why the taxpayers don’t want to pay for your free ride. There are few signs of education, or the best interest of the children in you ‘educators’. Furthermore, don‘t EVER tell America how important ’education’ is to children. You’ve shown your ability to educate for a month, and done nothing but use those preciious minds you claim to care about. We now know better.

I think that it’s time to privatize education. Give parents vouchers. Let them use them to enroll their children in the private school of their choice. The Boards of Education can provide a curriculum framework for the schools in their districts. Let JD Edwards rate the schools annually and give the parents the choice.

If individual school staff want to unionize, fine. If the unionized schools keep up the standards, great. If they go down hill then parents can vote with their vouchers.

What I think is funny is they think conservatives are stupid, yet all they can come up with is “hey hey ho ho, Scott Walker’s got to go”??? Let’s turn this around on them for a second. When I was in graduate school, I was in a class with a bunch of education majors & they were dumb as a box of rocks….didn’t understand the basics in an experimental psychology class (we didn’t even have to set up an experiment, just had to describe the basics of how to do it. In my undergrad classes, we had to set the whole thing up, run the experiment & come up with all the statistical information to support our findings). They were all complaining “this is too hard”. Although I was in my 20′s, I remember thinking how scary it was that they were master’s level education majors & couldn’t understand a simple concept.

I like what the lady said in the video about the children getting the idea from this even that they should form Unions. This way the children could protest the school where they don’t agree with the teachers agenda and teaching methods. Maybe they don’t feel they should have to be in school such long hours and five days a week, longer lunches, more technical training, and so on. With out children going to school, hardly would the teachers have job, so they would have to oblige. hahaha

As I jokingly write this, something came to mind. Let’s see, it is these very childrens parents who EMPLOY these teachers, pay their salaries. This would be like a painter coming to my house to paint. Then telling me how he is going to paint my house and what he is going to get paid, what days and hours he is going to work, and maybe that I have to make him lunch everyday. He will choose the color and determine the scheme of the painting. If I don’t agree with his terms, then he isn’t going to paint my house…….
Hmmmmm I really don’t think he will paint my house. Since I am paying for the service, I will decide what is acceptable, not him. This is how it is with these teachers. The people they protest don’t pay them exactly, we do. We elect those who tell them what is acceptable based upon the election results. So in turn, this is like the painter, only we don’t have another painter to choose from and this is what those state vouchers are going to allow us to do, at least in Pa. Those teachers don‘t like the terms of the people who are paying them and don’t want to the job we paid them to do, I not only think we have a legal case to sue them for not providing the service they were paid to do, but also, we shgould be able to say BYE !! PUBLIC UNIONS are UNCONSTITUTIONAL – PERIOD

Second, it‘s a shame there isn’t someone, preferably hired by a local government body, that could spend some time with these kids, maybe in 42 minutes periods, and explain both sides of this debate to them in a safe, non-threatening way…

Instead these kids are spending the day in the state capital arguing for their teacher’s right to collectively bargain for a better pension, which will raise WI taxes when these kids grow up, likely forcing them to look for work outside Wisconsin…

The majority of union members are good people, its the union bosses and some of the liberal union members that do not get it and never will. Liberals manipulate and use children the same way as pedophiles. If you’re a parent, you need to teach your kids to scream and run whenever a Liberal approaches them.

Rep. Kline has taken a leading role in education. Send him an email, and urge him to investigate what is being taught in our schools. This is totally disgusting. How dare they use taxpayer’s money, and take these children away from the school for this type of nonsense. Our children are learning how to hate government, and disrespect governmental buildings. Who are these teachers in the video. They should be fired!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

God help my child if I found out either one of them went to support these lazy state employees.

Booo hooo, we have to work an almost 9 month schedule out of the entire year.

Don’t be a fool, stay in school!
