Eyewitness Describes Tinley Park Anti Racist Restaurant Attack on Presumed White Supremacists

On May 19, a horde of masked thugs calling themselves “anti-racist activists” (A.R.A.) stormed a restaurant in Tinley Park, Illinois where a group of white supremacists was seemingly meeting.

Showing no regard for age or gender, the activists allegedly wielded bats, claw hammers and metal batons during the violent spree, even pushing an 80-year old woman to the ground, according to a former Chicago police officer.

“Hey, b-tches, the A.R.A. is going to f— up this place,” one allegedly shouted, when announcing the group’s presence.

The Chicago Sun-Times is now reporting on an interview with an eyewitness:

“Although the terrorist assault lasted only about a minute, it was the longest minute of my life,” the eyewitness said.

The [man], whose identity the SouthtownStar has agreed to keep private because [he] fears retaliation, said he and his family were having lunch when the frightening attack started. He quickly realized what he thought was a robbery had turned into a fight for his life.

“I also remember thinking that this must be the feeling that passengers experience on a hijacked plane,” he said.

The attackers began upending tables, hurling plates and silverware and attacking other diners.

“I stood up and grabbed a wooden chair as one of the assailants approached from the left. I started swinging the chair to protect my family and other elderly patrons in our corner,” the man says in a written statement. “Suddenly, another assailant charged at me from the right. He was violently swinging a metal baton. The terrorist swung two or three times at my head and face. Thank God I was able to block the brunt (of) his attack with the chair.”

At least ten people were injured in the attack, and three had to be taken to the hospital.

The Chicago Sun-Times further reports:

Five Indiana men who prosecutors say are linked to the Anti-Racist Action Group remain in the Cook County Jail, charged with felony mob action, aggravated battery and criminal damage to property.  They are John Tucker, 26, of Martinsville, Ind.; Cody Sutherlin, 23, and Alex Stuck, 22, both of Bloomington, Ind.; and Dylan Sutherlin, 20, and Jason Sutherlin, 33, both of Gosport, Ind. Two victims also were arrested on charges unrelated to the attack.

The Anti-Racist Action Group (ARA) is a “radical left-wing group” that often resorts to violent acts, said Mark Potok, a senior fellow at The Southern Poverty Law Center, a nonprofit civil rights organization based in Montgomery, Ala. The attack, he said, “did more harm to the cause of fighting racism than almost anyone can imagine.”

The alleged white supremacists meeting at the restaurant reject the term, but the logo of one of its affiliated websites, Stormfront, is “White Pride World Wide” and the description says, “We are a community of white nationalists.”

The other related website, “White News Now,” describes itself.

“I’ve been mayor [of Tinley Park] for 31 years,” Mayor Ed Zabrocki told ABC, “and I’ve never heard of anything stranger than this.”

      This is just more of the same. The NAZI Black Supremacists (Black Panthers) are wound up over Trayvon Martin. And now with this we can expect the NAZI White Supremacists (KKK) to get all riled up. Noth are likely to feel they lost a brother here.

      Buckle your safety belts and place your seat in an up right position, the so called conspiracy theorists have been right for too long. The madness is here, I’ve seen it personally just today. It’s nuts how people taking this RAH RAH RAH propaganda seriously.

      Don’t get me wrong, I pay attention and take it seriously just so I can tell my kids, if they make it through all of this, how we got to the bad spot I know is coming; all because I know people are going to pick sides.

      A side is fine, and should be had. But please pick the side with character, responsibility, humility, and honor; not color, political party, or angered response.

      I have never considered myself a racist. I have friends of all colors available. Indian (as from India), Mexican, Honduran, Columbian, black, etc.) but I fear there will come a point when we have to take sides. I don‘t think there will be a mixed side of people who just don’t want to fight. It will be us against them. Hopefully with the Zimmerman case, some blacks have shown what has also been proven: blacks don’t like brown people either.

      I grew up during the 1960′s and what strikes me now after seeing cities burned down. COWARDS like Ayers bombing buildings and now things like this taking place. Is how VIOLENT and ANGRY the hippies and so-called people for PEACE really are. To think that I was a long haired PEACE and LOVE hippy when I was young almost makes me sick to my stomach now. This is what we all want in our lives and the founding fathers say these RIGHTS comes from God. No MOVEMENT that turns violent gives any of us PEACE and LOVE. The Ayers and Obama’s of the world are the biggest hypocrites in the world !! Everything they do is NOT for the MOVEMENT but is to feed their sick EGO’S !!! Peace and Love is found in Christ !!!       This isn’t the real “left” it’s only one of many independent groups, the leadership is elsewhere such as certain numbers in DC and larger cities. If someone actually investigated the matter they wouldn’t be able to avoid the revelations, so they don’t, or don’t allow it, or anything that turn up inadvertently, never goes anywhere because there are people in place to see to it that it doesn’t.

      The media know how this works but have said nothing, which pretty much shows you who’s side they are on. It isn’t our side.

      A few bumps and bruises are nothing for a good White Supremacist to endure. In fact it is exhilarating. To have the levels of your power and your influence to threaten the minds and lives of the unclean hordes so directly displayed is priceless feedback which helps to calibrate future directions. I am guessing that buried somewhere deep in the purpose of this this Stormfront meeting was intel which suggested such an attack by a group of useless Commies was imminent. Now they have the bunch of Commies in jail, they have their names, addresses, family members, possibly the names of the next tier up in their Commie chain of command, and a few bruises to tell glorious stories about for years…

      So what happens to the conservative blacks and hispanics? I’m not turning them away. This needs to be about what you believe in and not about the color of your skin. God does not care the color of yur skin, but the content of your character. There are plenty of people of different races that will think like you. We cannot become what the left has become. Do not focus on color but their actions. It will be more difficult to recognize the enemy, but you don’t want to be like them.

    If anyone ever pushed an 80 year old woman to the ground in front of me, that attacker would end up in an emergency room, even if I had to use my bare hands on him. I can’t stand to see old folks or kids abused.

    Interesting how they call them “white supremacists”. I think “caucasian activists” or “europian -american organizers” would be better terms. They seem to be the white version of the NAACP and are certently not as radical as say, the New Black Panthers.

      Whatever their political leanings and personal/moral shortcomings, they have a right to their opinions and a right to peacefully gather to discuss whatever and eat dinner. White pride doesn’t automatically= white supremacy. Every culture and peoples should be proud of their heritage. These terrorist dirt bags need long prison sentences so they can fully reflect on where they went wrong in their lives.

I know there are lots of white nationalists and other seedy characters that like Ron Paul. Freedom is attractive to all types. As long as they are not hurting people they can believe what they want.     They are all young. Is this more of the indoctrinated youth? What is America coming to – civil war. Where do young people get the idea that they can do this kind of thing? Where does OWS get the idea that they are owed something. Freedom is precious, but equality will never happen. We are all given intellect and talents at different levels. Freedom comes when we use what God gave us to the benefit of our families and our community, whether it is digging ditches or president. Be proud of whatever work we do, not envious of what someone else has.

      You’re right! These people need to stop complaining about everything, and start contributing. Every person is important, and whatever job they do is obviously something that needs to be done. So, they should do it with pride! Most importantly, they need to keep away from all of the radical groups, on either side, because nothing good will come from any of them!     My question is this, in a restaurnat, there are knives…no one decided to fight back with at least a broken glass or a knife,..there is ALWAYS a ‘weapon’ in reach…self defense 101….at least the 1 guy with the chair knew what was up….stay vigilant folks, this can happen anywhere in the US…anywhere…at least ‘die with your boots on’, so to speak….
