Woah: Biden Claims GOP Spending ‘$200 Billion’ on Campaign Ads

This claim might be even more far-fetched than the ones Vice President Joe Biden has made about the stimulus working. Maybe.

“I was amazed at the amount of money, this $200 billion of money that is — where there’s no accountability,” Vice President Joe Biden told Bloomberg. “When I say accountability, we don’t know where it’s coming from. There’s no disclosure, so the folks watching the ad can’t make a judgment based upon motive when you say it’s paid for by so-and-so,” he said.

If the democrats keep control of Congress, I will have lost complete faith in America.

Why? For one, it’s just a bad idea to have one party in control of everything. I mean really, come on people! Neither party is perfect by any means. If the Democrats got their way and kept control of everything, they might as well just be renamed The Party. Can’t anyone see the unrest that having the Democrats in control of everything has had? I‘d be willing to bet it’d be the same with all Republicans in complete control. It’s best to have a good mix, even a mix of conflicting viewpoints. I vote for who I think is the least progressive, in all honesty. Usually, yes, it seems to be the Republicans ’round here. However, it does make me sick when American voters are so absolutely glued to their parties no matter who the person they’re voting for is.

  There is nothing wrong with one party with all the power, if they understand they are working for us. and that we have the ability to throw them out if they don’t. Thanks to obama we now know that behind our backs the liberals have been replaced by marxist just waiting for this admin to take power. They were doing a pretty good job converting Rhinos too. This move has been in the works for years. They just were not ready for the tea party movement. Their last hope was it became a third party instead of a force for constitutional government in either party(repubs were just more amenable).

  He was commenting on the fact that any organization, including international companies, can anonymously spend literally any amount of money to influence the outcome of any election in the United States. SEIU could spend, through a nonprofit, a billion dollars to defeat a City Councilman or mayor who supports unions, and no one would have a clue where the money came from.
  
  That means elections, which are often won or lost based on the money the candidates can bring to bear on advertising, will go to the candidate who courts and becomes beholden to the richest donors. The donor can be from a different state or be an international company who wants to make sure their profits are protected regardless of the best interest of the constituents of their candidates. A billionaire in Texas might want to make sure his business in California isn’t regulated and give 100 million to the candidate anonymously.
  
  I’m a believer in one person, one vote. But the situation now is one dollar, one vote. But I know most people here don’t mind that the rich choose our candidates. Better the rich control the country that someone more interested in the least of us.
