Wolf Blitzer Can‘t Get Debbie Wasserman Schultz to Fully Accept Facts of Paul Ryan’s Medicare Plan in Frustrating Interview

CNN‘s Wolf Blitzer sparred with DNC Chair and Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz on Tuesday and tried to get her to clarify statements she has been making about Paul Ryan’s plans for Medicare. And he might as well have been trying to squeeze water from a stone.
Wasserman Schultz and most Democrats have been claiming that the Ryan plan would “end Medicare.” This tactic is targeting senior citizens. However, as Romney, Ryan and their surrogates have repeatedly stated, their plans do not change a thing for any citizen who is 55 and older. Despite this fact, Rep. Wasserman Schultz continues to try and paint the Ryan proposal using words like “extreme.”
As Blitzer discovered, it took several minutes (over three minutes) of back and forth before the DNC Chair would only semi-concede that the Ryan plan does not change a thing for people 55 and over. But even still, she has big problems with it.

For folks younger than 55 MEDICARE as they no it will END. And of course the reason we are in this situation at all is because of two things. First, because similar to state pension plans, politicians back to Reagan did not have the strength of character to fund Medicare at the levels it needed to be funded at. And second, these same politicians do not have the strength to reduce fees to hospitals, physicians, drug companies and medical equipment companies to the levels of their counterparts or divisions in other countries. Case in point is the price of prescription drugs in Canada as opposed to the US. And for all you ideological lemmings it has nothing to do with the FDA. And let’s be clear the majority of the FDA drug testing and approval regulations were lobbied for by the large drug companies. You see they want it to remain a big players game and reduce competition from smaller drug companies. Always research who is lobbying for what, who is paying those lobbyists and who gains from the regulations. In short always follow the money. What you stupidly claim is over regulation by the FDA, was by and large fostered by the big drug companies with the objective of limiting competition and keeping drug prices high.

Schultz was just caught up in her lie and because someone from the media actually did their JOB against her the truth was mistakenly set free.
Now everyone can see for what the Liberals truly are, a bunch of liars who try to snap the truth in half, change reality, and make everyone blinded to the actual facts. These are the same tactics the Obama administration has used against Romney with the Bain Capital ad’s. It’s basically the tactics that every Liberal uses, they don’t have a hint of truth throughout their body.

Freedom, I‘m going to be charitable and say he wasn’t quite awake when he reviewed his daily progressive talking points. He says the high price of prescription drugs has, “nothing to do with the FDA,” and then goes on to explain how drug companies use the FDA to sheild themselves from competition. Of course, JROOK is correct in his assertion that many corporations lobby for legislation/regulations to protect themselves from competitors. However, judging by past JROOK posts, I don’t think his intention was to advance free market principles. If JROOK would apply his theory to about 90% of Federal regulations and agencies, he would begin to understand why conservatives are opposed to big government. But, like I said, I don’t think he wanted to advance free market ideas, seems he was more concerned with calling people stupid.

The liberals will soon run out of doctors as they will not take medicare patients. They will not make any changes because they have the seniors in a noose, and that is a large voting block. They will do nothing to improve medicare but just slowly watch it run into the ground.
