Woman Chases Down Crook Who Snatched Her Wallet and Delivers Message from God

Linette Kossow has gone through a lot lately. Her apartment was recently burglarized and she has been the victim of identity theft.

So when 18-year-old Jenar Sanders reportedly snatched her wallet on the bus in the wee hours of Friday morning in Chicago, she decided she wasn’t going to take it. She chased him down in her skirt and knee-high boots, and picked up some helpers along the way — a homeless man and a security guard. She eventually caught him. But that’s not where the story ends.
According to the Chicago Tribune, Kossow and her cadre of Good Samaritans actually caught up to Sanders twice before they eventually cornered him in an alley. And once, she even “grabbed” him and delivered a message from the Almighty.
“I grabbed him and said: ‘God wants you to give me back my wallet. Please give me

back my wallet. I need it.’”
Police eventually arrived and arrested him. And while everything ended okay, officials say Kossow’s actions did create some nerves.
“The woman’s lucky,” a police official said. “She grabbed him. She was lucky this guy wasn’t a violent guy. They had him in an alley without an exit. He’s a fairly substantial man.”
As for Kossow, she was just fed up.
“I’ve had a lot of things happen, and I’m exhausted. And I’m really tired [of being a victim]. I’m done,” Kossow told NBC Chicago.

He has no doubt been raised on government handouts and its never enough, so theft is the next best thing and there are plenty of hapless city dwellers who have been taught everyone is good and if something like this happens not to respond. Enough! I am proud of her!

The thug was obviously shaken up because she pursued him so vigorously, they aren’t familiar with citizens who stand up for themselves & it presents an unknown. A gun would have been better. What if he had pulled a knife or worse on her & injured her person or worse? She was lucky & that’s all the cops were pointing out. Thugs only do what they do because they are sure they possess more power than their victims, it’s like being outnumbered & overarmed. I’m happy for her she got her wallet back & she is right when she says we as a society need to take more responsibility for ourselves & stand up to challenges… But I wouldn’t want to get killed over a wallet. Yeah, I need my wallet, but I can survive without it & my life is much too precious to lose it to some dirtbag criminal purse-snatcher. Guess the spell-checker doesn’t like the term dirtbag. Well too bad.

Posted on January 29, 2012 at 4:14pmDon’t give up Linette & know you are not the only one… Our property was vandalized numerous times before they actually burglarized the house & they graffitied the boat my husband was trying to refurbish & I have been the victim of identity fraud twice now. We have since moved & are intentionally surrounding ourselves with friends who all watch out for each other. We are circling the wagons & we will do what is necessary to protect ourselves. It really sucks that our government has fallen down on the job, doesn’t it?

If she hadn’t chased him down, he‘d have got off scott free and would have spent the woman’s money before the police responded to the call. For the most part cops are only good for compiling crime statistics. If more people fought back it would be a different society. I’m tired of leaving it up to the “experts.”

It so happened another neighbor chased said punk down, tackled him, roughed him up a bit, then called the cops. We all broke up laughing when said punk uttered, “Damn! That OLD guy is FAST”. As he gets outta his ride, some kid jumps in the electric truck and drives off. Out of the bar (he was there fixing something, not boozin it up) runs the electrician. He’s pissed and hopping up and down. My bud looks at him and says “wanna catch him?” Electrician is so flippin mad, he says “hell yeah!”
Side note, bud is a gearhead and his ride was a little “tuned up.”
Long story short, they catch the guy, hold him for police. Electrician asks my bud, “how can I thank you?” Bud says, “how about a job?”
Bud hears nothing; 3 weeks later, he gets a letter telling him he needs to be at such and such and bring so and so and don’t be late because its his first day on the job.
The job was “meter reader.” In those days, EVERYBODY started as meter reader, and you went up the ladder from there. Meter reader was the hardest job to get at that time.
He worked for that group for 35 years, took an early retirement buy out, and started his own biz making custom chopped down cars.
True story.

Most of them can’t stand up for what is RIGHT because they might “offend” someone or lose their precious careers or not get enough votes to be re-elected. And the media is NO BETTER. They leave brave men like Glenn Beck standing all alone, standing up against evil men like GEORGE SOROS.
I hope someone sees this story and gives this woman a better job than the one she has now. If I had a company, I’d want to hire her!
