An Orlando woman has gone missing following a tense appearance on “The People’s Court,” a television court show. ABC reports that Michelle Parker disappeared Thursday afternoon, the same day that an episode with Parker and her ex-fiancee aired.
Dale Smith, Parker’s ex-fiancee, had sued Parker to retrive his engagement ring and the episode was filmed in October. While court shows can often seem odd and almost comical, Parker’s disappearance is a very serious matter. ABC News on the search for the mother of three:
“Parker was last seen dropping off the couple‘s twins at Smith’s home.
Her abandoned truck was found a day later.
Police gathered items from Smith’s home and searched the nearby woods, but have not gone so far as to call him a suspect or a person of interest.
Parker‘s parents said they don’t think that Smith is involved in their daughter’s disappearance, according to ABC News affiliate WFTV.
‘He (Smith) has fully cooperated,’ said Yvonne Stewart, Parker’s mother. ‘They have found absolutely no evidence that there’s any foul play on his part.’”
Parker’s parents told WFTV Saturday night that they believe their daughter was the victim of a “random crime.” WFTV reports that dozens of family members, friends, and volunteers have conducted their own searches for Parker.
Texas Equusearch, well known in Central Florida for it’s Caylee Anthony searches, is expected be in Orlando to begin it’s own search for Parker.
During the episode of The People’s Court, Parker spoke about the couple’s rocky relationship.”He shouldn‘t have put his hands on me and he shouldn’t have put his hands on me prior. He shouldn‘t have left me three or four times over the past year and a half that we’ve been together,” she said on the show.
A Washington D.C. homicide investigator and current homicide consultant told ABC that the show could provide clues for investigators.
“You know it’s always possible that anytime you have a public display of animosity between two individuals in a relationship, it’s going to exacerbate the problems between those two individuals,” said Rod Wheeler.
The Daily Mail notes that Parker sent a mysterious text message to her brother about 4:30 p.m. saying she was in the Waterford Lakes area of Orlando. When investigators tracked her cell phone, they found she was never near there.

Posted on November 20, 2011 at 11:40pmI watched the whole video (despite the barking dogs ugh) and I’m surprised that this guy is not only a heavy drinker but he has anger issues. I can see this man slowly working his way towards homicide from the little I heard during the show. He is promisuous. He gets her pregnant. He is even more promiscuous. He leaves her secluded in public areas (unconcerned about his finances well are and safety) he argues n front of children. He turns her own children against her to try and control her. He physically assaults his finances in private, then in public. The woman is so over the guy she does the cliche thing and throws her ring at him causing the ring to be lost. He then sues her and wins 2500 $ in this court show.
Cheats on her
Leaves her stranded
Kicks a mother of three out of house
Turns children against mother
Assaults the woman
Sues the woman
And now she is missing. Do the math
FL homicide det. You have another 24 hrs. Left. HURRY!
Please Jesus let her be found alive!

Let stories like this be a wake up call to all of us. Turn the sin over to Jesus before it hands you over to destruction eternal. Me included.

Posted on November 21, 2011 at 11:32amNice psychoanalysis there, Freud. Although you forgot to mention all of the wrongdoing on the part of the woman. This was not a lop-sided relationship. They were horrible TO EACH OTHER. Just keep defending that princess in her freaking tower, you white knight. She has a ****** so she can obviously do no wrong.

Seriously though. Thoughts and prayer to the family, and especially to the young lady. I hope everything turns out to be a good story rather than a tragedy.

Posted on November 21, 2011 at 9:32amLook at the nature of the cases on these “shows”:…..
Each one of these cases was a pending case in a court somewhere!!!
How much worse would the backlog be in our court system if there weren’t some way to “thin the heard” so to speak…
Binding Arbitration does that….and if you read the fine print, these shows are nothing more than televised sessions of binding arbitration.
I think it HELPS the judicial system…..
I’d also point out that the judicial system has done a fine job of making a mockery of itself with some of the hair brained rulings that have come down over the years…..No television show can top that!

Posted on November 20, 2011 at 9:27pmThere is something weird about Florida. Just look at the people who move there to retire at age 65 and within 10 to 20 years the’ve passed away. Someone should apply for a government grant to study this phenomenon.

Posted on November 20, 2011 at 7:07pmThere are 1 of 3 scenarios that are possible ✡ 1) The lady has gone into hiding for whatever reason that she believes will improve her situation ✡ 2) Suicide (Requires finding a body) (I hope this and the other possibilities are not what is finally decided upon by the Police) ✡ 3) Homicide (Does not require a body to reach such a conclusion) ✡ Homicide can be committed by an acquaintance or a stranger ✡ Stranger committed homicide is normally an act of robbery ✡ Stranger Assassination is harder for the Police to solve but not impossible ✡ And that for the most part will usually lead back to someone that has a motive to gain from the homicide! ✡ Again ✡ I hope she will be found alive and to be in hiding!

Posted on November 21, 2011 at 9:38amWell, I saw this particular case on the People‘s Court while I’m home going stir crazy on medical leave.
Both her and her ex-boyfriend struck me as having self-serving personalities (not really the type to make a good relationship work)……….
She came off as very cold and uncaring………but there seemed to be something wrong with him. I hope she turns up okay. But if she doesn’t, someone needs to take a very close look at this guy.

Much like the old Jerry Springer show. Nobody ever admitted to watching it, but it constantly pulled in the ratings.

Well, did her text say she “Is” in the area, or did it say she “Was” in that area? I think the problem investigators face in this day and age which is bigger than all the other problems they face is that nobody knows the English language anymore.
