Women in Chechnya Terrified as Government Openly Backs Honor Killings

After decades of religious suppression under Soviet Rule, Chechnya is seemingly embracing fundamentalist Islam with gusto.
According to the Washington Post: “In today’s Chechnya, alcohol is all but banned, Islamic dress codes are enforced and polygamous marriages are supported by the government.”
Even more shocking, President Ramzan Kadyrov is now saying the government will openly embrace honor killings.

The Washington Post explains:
In the past five years, the bodies of dozens of young Chechen women have been found dumped in woods, abandoned in alleys and left along roads in the capital, Grozny, and neighboring villages.
Chechen President Ramzan Kadyrov publicly announced that the dead women had “loose morals” and were rightfully shot by male relatives. He went on to describe women as the property of their husbands, and said their main role is to bear children.
“If a woman runs around and if a man runs around with her, both of them should be killed,” [he] said.
The president has described himself as wanting to be “more Islamic than the Islamists,” and few dare challenge his authority.
“No one can tell us not to be Muslims,” he declared. “If anyone says I cannot be a Muslim, he is my enemy.”
A local human rights defender explained: “You hear about these cases almost every day…It is hard for me to investigate this topic, yet I worked on it with [human rights activist] Natasha [Estemirova] for a while. But, I can’t anymore. I am too scared now. I’ve almost given up, really.”

Estemirova was found in the woods in 2009 with gunshot wounds to the head and chest, after she angered Chechen authorities with reports of torture, abductions and extrajudicial killings. Her killer or killers have not been found.
The Chechen Republic, located in the Caucasus mountains, is technically a federal subject of Russia, but has been a thorn in the side of the vast country for centuries. Leo Tolstoy’s last book, Hadji Murat, depicted the conflict between the Chechens and Russians, and little seems to have changed in the interim.
After countless wars and battles, the Russians may simply not see the plight of the Chechen women as worthy of another round of fighting.

The news that Chechnya is openly and thoroughly embracing a fundamentalist form of Islam follows reports of Islamist victories throughout the Middle East, as the region is increasingly unstable after the Arab Spring.
While Chechnya is unlikely to have a large impact on fundamentalist Islam worldwide, it is significant that Russia, a pillar of secularism after religion was officially outlawed for decades, is tolerating such religious extremism– at least for the time being.

Soon, if we in America continue to entertain the foolish notion that “moderate Islam” or the “non-violent practice of Islam” are now, suddenly, after 1,400 years of non-stop Jihad, reasonable goals, we too will find ourselves ceding territory to the muslims.
Do we want to have that as common ground with Russia, China, and so many other nations? That we were the generation of Americans that gave territory to The House of Islam?

Posted on May 1, 2012 at 2:02amI know it would be an impossibility, but if you could give all the muslim women, who wanted it, asylum, and the opportunity to go to another country, free of their oppressors, then these old mulsim would just die off. No women to have children, no women to kill, sexually abuse, or rape, no babies to thigh or rape, no little girls in wedding dresses to grown men. Eventually without having more children, they would die off, and of course with them using the young boys and men as suicide bombers, all that will be left is old men too afraid to die for their beliefs or for allah, who was yet another pedophile. Dismantle Mecca, take over Saudi Arabia and begin a Western colonization of the region. That would be my recommendation to those leaders who desire to remain free of the claws of Allah.
Replace Islamic Civilization with Western Civilization at every opportunity. If other civilizations have problem with it, we can war with them and take their territory as well.

The fact that innocent women are going through the meat grinder is of no concern to the hierarchy. The are merely collateral damage. The objective is to exercise total control over the people.

When Mohummad needed more money for his wars, Allah spoke to him. He then told his population that Allah had commanded them through his messenger (Mohummad) to give more money to their leader (also Mohummad) and anybody who didn’t was insulting Allah and would shortly be discussing the situation with their God personally.
This is why muslims present the threat that they do to the west. Muslim leaders want to control the whole world so they instruct the faithful accordingly, and the faithful obey. Muslims are indoctrinated from birth and they provide these vicious savages with an army of useful and unthinking idiots.

Their goal was to convert a portion of Russian territory to Islam and make it part of the Islamic World. They are not “shackled” by Islam, it was their goal!
There are no “rebels” or “freedom fighters” in Chechnya. They are muslims engaged in Jihad.

Posted on April 30, 2012 at 11:46pmHaving sailed through a number of Muslim countries without setting foot in a single tourist resort, my ship mates and I have not only seen how local women are treated, we’ve had to deal with how the local men treated the female members of our crew despite the fact that all were dressed as advised by the local Customs and Immigration officials.
In response to an article in our local city paper “Fear of Muslims is based on Ignorance” I tried to explain that the reasons there are honor killings in the U.S. and Canada, is because Muslim men, having grown up where such treatment of women is simply considered the norm, when coming over here will not change such attitudes simply because our infidel laws say they must.
Some woman, a liberal twit I’m assuming, slung the usual mud, questioning my integrity with sarcastic questions like “What century did YOU travel there?”
I thought it was the 21st but apparently it was the 10th or 12th.
Physicists really ought to check this as I believe I’ve proven you CAN travel backward in time.
