Over the weekend, a self-proclaimed “Marxist” and “Revolutionary Socialist” showed up at a pro-union rally (reportedly one of the ones sponsored by Moveon.org and Van Jones) in Dallas. Not only was he there, but he was also leading the chanting. Such gems as “No war but class war!“ and ”They say cut back we say fight back!” flowed from the the lips of the protesters:
Later in the day, the group RedWhiteBlueNews approached the chant leader to ask him what socialism has to do with unions. Not only does he admit the unions are the “first step” in achieving a Marxist system, but that is also when he admits he’s a “revolutionary socialist”:

The ruling-class elites in Washington, business (Soros and company ) and academia who call themselves “progressives” are getting desperate, now that their agenda has been exposed.
It’s almost laughable how unhinged these leftists are becoming. They just need to remember that the decent, patriotic, hardworking taxpayers of America FAR outnumber their kind. And, most of us are armed, fully able and WILLING to defend the rule of law and this great country from would-be totalitarian fascists like them…PLUS (as a warning and not a threat)……WE HAVE THE U.S. MILITARY on OUR side.
So let these loud and repulsive fools “organize” and “protest” all they want. They actually do US a favor by exposing themselves and their sponsors for what they are. If they ever try stepping beyond the bounds of the law and resort to mass, organized violence, they’ll regret the day they did !

Posted on March 1, 2011 at 9:28amTHE TYRANT’S ENEMY, THE INNOVATIVE ENTREPRENEUR:
Tyrants require an enemy to gain and retain power. The “Wannabe Peers” have used this “chosen enemy” tactic as an integral part of their agenda to usurp our freedom since the late 1800’s. The “Wannabe Peers” (Those who lust for the unearned power and prestige that King George III conferred on the English Peers) chose the Entrepreneur to be their enemy. However, these “Wannabe Tyrants” called their enemy the “Rich” not Entrepreneur. The word “Rich” was used because of the implication that the “Rich” enjoy unearned wealth, wealth that was somehow stolen from the masses.
Report Post »Entrepreneurs, of course, utilize innovation to create the wealth and increase the individual productivity. Their success made the United States the greatest industrial power that the world has ever seen. If the term “rich man” were changed to producer, employer or Entrepreneur the propaganda would be totally ineffective.
You would die of starvation and exposure if you had to exist on the wealth created by the “Wannabe Tyrants” but we all live in luxury (compared to the standard of living before the industrial revolution) in an economy created by innovative Entrepreneurs.
For more on the tactics and strategy of the “Wannabe Tyrants” see chapter 5 of “21st Sense Common Sense.” http://commonsense21c.com/

Report Post »When I was growing up there was 3 billion people on the planet there’s now 7 billion the market thus the market has more than doubled since 1980. And that number will grow at an even faster rate as more people means more breeding. Capitalism is the only to keep up with the rising numbers on new people arriving on earth daily. More over your argument against capitalism most also include manditory brith and population control in order equalize the resources left on the planet. So the next step in your dismantlement of capitalism most be eugenics or age limits. either you control who breeds to keep the numbers down or you set up a logan’s run type society inwhich the elderly are euthanized to stop their consumption on resources. You’re walking down a dark path that will always end badly.
DanB
Posted on March 1, 2011 at 10:50am@Catharsis
Should I laugh? Should I cry? Should I moan? Really!? That is so funny!
I think you got your systems mixed up.
Socialism/Marxism/Communism is based on the idea that there is a limit, or ceiling, on what can be done with the resources around us. These are the people who believe the earth cannot support more life, industry, etc.. Finite. To top it off, all these systems use government to control production, distribution, and consumption. Ironically of course, by imposing various levels of controls on capitalism… from incentives, penalties, to outright direct control.
Capitalism assumes nothing. At its core, capitalism is the free exchange of labor. We use money now to enable the exchange since not everyone needs a Microsoft Certified Server Administrator, but that IT professional still needs food, shelter and clothing. So the monetary system shouldn’t be confused with capitalism. It is just the tool that allows my example of the IT professional to offer his specialized labor to someone who does need the work he/she can provide and get in exchange a medium that he/she can then take to others for the purpose of exchange to get the goods and services he/she needs and/or wants. Have I lost you? Thus far, I am saying the money is just a tool for exchange. So what is capitalism? Really just the exchange of goods and services for other goods and services. You exchange your 40 hours a week to “earn” the goods and services you then purchase with the medium (money) you received as payment for your work.
What ends up happening is that in capitalism, if you can find a way to produce smarter using less manpower or time, you actually free up time and resources to create new wealth. A village with specialized farmers and fishermen that produce more than just what they need to feed their own immediate families can now provide for the village. In exchange, some others learn math, writing, and other specialized skills that allow the once village to have more than it had yesterday, quite often exchanging their skills with farmers and fishermen including and not limited to designing and building better boats, nets, plows, and irrigation. This cycle then produces greater wealth because it can take fewer and fewer to produce the basic needs of food, shelter and clothing, so the rest of society discovers and finds new innovations that continues to increase the wealth of the once village as they now become a city with cars, trains, planes, computers, and even facilities for cleaner water and to process all the sewage of their now thriving metropolis. So capitalism isn’t the cities, the cars, trains, computers, and everything else you see around you. capitalism is just the system that makes possible the creation of true wealth–which is the ability to do more with the one truly limited resource of time.

Posted on March 1, 2011 at 9:22amBoth Hitler and Mussolini used the communist and socialist as their political enemies. They convinced the people that there was a difference between communism, socialism and fascism. When, in fact, the only difference is the title of the dictator and the rhetoric. This misdirection was immensely a valuable tactic , for both dictators. There is only freedom and tyranny. If you choose tyranny, the results will be same, poverty and despair, regardless of the title the tyrant uses.
The wannabe tyrants have been encroaching on our freedom since the late 1800s.
The attached figure shows the real political spectrum. Tyranny is on the left, the mixed economy is in the center and freedom is on the right. The figure also shows the conservative Presidents who have tried to slow or even reverse our march toward tyranny. The bottom of the figure shows the presidents who have aided and abetted our slide into tyranny.

The USA has been socialist since the 1930s, and your grandaddy and your grandma, maybe your great grandaddy and grandma before them, but certainly your dad and mom, accepted it and did nothing to fight back against it. Progressive income tax, socialist security, federal control of schools through funding, death tax, medicare, medicaid, political correctness officially permitted to crush free speech, hate speech, total centralized political control, etc. etc. et. al. ad nauseam.
You’ve never known the kind of freedom once had in this nation, therefore you‘ve never known that you don’t have it.
By the end of 1964 anyone who could fool themselves into thinking the USA wasn’t a socialist nation had to be willingly deaf, dumb, and blind to reality. LBJ did not advance the cause of freedom and conservatism when he pushed through his “Great Society”.

Capitalism vs Socialism
Interesting way to explain the difference
Think about this…
An economics professor at Texas Tech said he had never failed a single
student, but had once failed an entire class.
The class (students) insisted that socialism worked since no one would be
poor and no one would be rich, a great equalizer. The professor then said,
“OK, we will have an experiment in this class on socialism.”
“All grades will be averaged and everyone will receive the same grade so
no one will fail and no one will receive an A.”
After the first test the grades were averaged and everyone got a B. The
students who had studied hard were upset while the students who had
studied very little were happy.
But, as the second test rolled around, the students who had studied little
studied even less and the ones who had studied hard decided that since
they couldn’t make an A, they also studied less. The second Test average
was a D.
No one was happy. When the 3rd test rolled around the average grade was an
F.
The scores never increased as bickering, blame, name calling, all resulted
in hard feelings and no one would study for anyone else.
To their great surprise all failed. The professor told them that socialism
Report Post »would ultimately fail because the harder people try to succeed the greater
their reward (capitalism) but when a government takes all the reward
away (socialism) no one will try or succeed.

What is going on does not apply to them as the movement with Governors going on is about making Public sector employees start paying a portion on their benefits and taking away their collective bargaining ability on everything but wages. These are good things that give the states more power to get rid of very bad teachers and other employees who are included. It does not include firefighters and policemen although it should. I am with Governor Walker 100% but his initiates should go even farther and take unions totally out of the public sector.

Isn’t it too much of a coincidence that what Obama is doing in Washington with the potential internet kill switch and mobilizing his Organizing For America that all of us conservatives are going to find out they have taken over. Nikita Krushchev told our Secretary of State Ezra Taft Benson in the late ‘50’s that ‘we would not realize it when the US would become socialist or communist’! Posted on March 1, 2011 at 12:03pmAsheMarie, most of us has our own story that is just as applicable. Do you have kids who are in or were in public school recently? If so, then you know that the schools insist that students participate in “group projects” several times a year. The kids are groups together based on mixing the smart, hard-working kids with some of the lazy ones. As their project gets off the ground, the hard-working kids end up taking most of the project on their shoulders because the lazy ones don’t want to put much effort into the project. The group’s grade ends up reflecting the fact that, in the end, the hard-working kids ended up picking up the slack because the lazy students rarely completed their meager assignment.
How many of us had hard-working kids who deeply resented the “group projects” because they ended up working twice as hard in order to compensate for their lazy companions?
Ask the young smart kids if they enjoyed doing group projects. They’ll be the first to admit they hated them. Then tell them that this is a good example of how Socialism works. You work hard and others get to reap the rewards for your hard work.

“Hitler was a socialist and he used the german unions in his rise to power,no one can argue that.
Once in power you can argue that he turned into a fascist but the National SOCIALIST German Workers Party was the foundation of Hitler’s power.”
——–
It’s kind of the other way around. Hitler was not a “socialist” in the Marxist sense. He ran against the socialists and the commies to rise to power. He was supported by the industrialists, the middle class and the SA militia, all of whom hated or feared the commies too. On the other hand, the working class/unions believed communism would empower them, so they were communist to the core. That is why Hitler dissolved the trade unions, killed the commie leaders and created only one Nazi labor union.
Unlike the commies, Hitler never resorted to class warfare to bring about a revolution. He didn’t redistribute money from the big industrialists to the working class either. His redistribution of wealth WAS real, but it was racial/ethnic, or as he labeled it, NATIONALIST. Also, while commies get rid of their unions once the economy stagnates, Hitler never stifled big industry, so his war economy brought relative prosperity to everyone, including the working class. However, the labor unions were subjected to mandatory union dues, so it was basically their own money that paid for the luxury vacations and other perks they enjoyed.
The Nazi “socialist” concept was closely tied to nationalism, to wit, prosperity for all Aryan Germans, not to Marxist or Marxist-derived models. Nevertheless, it was as anti-free market and capitalist class mobility as communism. Certainly it is not a label that is ever recognized or espoused by right-wing ideologies.

Posted on March 1, 2011 at 1:19pmI do believe our great country will survive the Obama administration as long as he along with all of the RINOs and Obama locksteppers are voted out of office. Things are getting really ugly but we will ultimately survive. If he gets reelected then we are screwed, then is when we hit the panic button and it will be time for states to get really serious about succession and starting a new country of like minded states.

Posted on March 1, 2011 at 1:33pmBANJARMON – We true Texans are not holding counter-protest rallies because:
A: Unlike the commie degenerates in the video we go to work.
B: We would rather spend our time at the shooting range.
C: The only people who show up at pro-union rallies are steers and queers.
D: All of the above.

Posted on March 1, 2011 at 8:38pmThey should look at the history of the Soviet Union. The workers had so much power that they got to work in the factory they were assigned ot, doing the job they were told to do, getting the pay the state thought was adequate, (It wasn’t!), and shop in stores with empty shelves. They all did their work so well that 75% of the basic necessities were imported and available for sale only to those with “hard”, (read: foreign), currency. And you could live where ever you chose, as long as you chose to live in the haousin you were assigned. Last but not least, you could not go to Siberia to visit the in-laws without an internal passport and the proper passes.
Yes sireeeee Bob! I want to see how well he likes his socialist paradise when he finally gets to live the dream!

Posted on March 1, 2011 at 9:53pmIt was actually Newsweek that said it but thst isn’t the issue. The issue is that it is actually being fullfilled. The Socialist in Wisconsion want Gov. Walker to lay off workers, that is their goal. When the layoffs happen that’s when these protest will become more violent. I hope that this does not come true because I do not want to see the National Guard to become involved. That will lead to a tinderbox. Bad Juju everyone, bad juju.
Report Post »Personally I want to avoid a violent conflict here. I‘m a soldier so I seen war first hand and let me tell you it’s something I don’t want to ever experience again. We need to do everything in our power to stop the violence. They want it but we can not want the same endstate.
