Are We in the Midst of World War III? Beck Thinks So After His Eye-Opening Trip to Rome, Athens…

One of the main points that Glenn took from his weekend in Europe was the overriding sense that we are currently in the middle of World War III. This time, however, the war is being fought with financial weapons of mass destruction and the goal is to attain power, money and influence. Below is a clip from Monday’s GBTV program in which Glenn explains the role that Middle East and oil will play in the conflict ahead. Hear why Glenn is frightened by this international battle:

 

In addition to visiting the Vatican to meet with high ranking Catholic officials, Glenn also met with several international leaders who very well could seek to organize a global Tea Party movement.

One of the more disturbing moments of Glenn’s trip, however, came during a last minute visit to Athens, Greece. Some of the footage below is frankly quite scary and offered an ominous preview of what may be to come for the rest of the world as socialism spreads.     The Tea Parties in my area are taken over by milktoast, without-conviction, John McCain-esque Republicans. The county next to us, the RHINOS sued president of the Tea Party for calling them RHINOs, my husband who tried to be the prez of our T Party, the ho=hum old=guard Republicans infiltrated and took over.

    The conviction comes through Christian churches. T Parties, most of whom have been painted as KKK, is now -weakened, Old Guard, status quo, phony, milktoast Republican-proxy. Why not bring together people of faith instead. People will fight for their religion; they will not fight for a political party, for which the T has become . If all Mormon, Baptist, Lutheran, Methodist, Catholic, Church of Christ– could come together on what we agree on, we could be a powerful force in this country and not let Statists get such a grip on the fabric of who we are.

    It is pure Christianity that separates the United States from the rest of the world. It is pure Christianity that has made us a blessed country. Our society was stronger when we were more in line with it. It is Christianity that makes this nation.       Midwsthippie’s opinion is that of weaknes and really does not matter. The idea of a religious aspect is a good idea, however, I might add that the milktoast McCain types also infiltrate there too. I think it will need to be a combination of the two and we will have to work on the state and local level to solve this. States have to flex their muscles against DC & the states will when if they have a backbone. Make no mistake we are oppressed just like in the days of King George but now we at least have a legal framework/along with the religiousaspect to shape our argument from and form our offensive.

      The picture on the front page, “do riots, not diets” gave me a mental image of a 1,200 pound uncle sam, walking around, taking food off the plates of people who worked all day making the food, surrounded by a lot of people who played videogames all day and then demanded their food, which the cooks gave to them. But then, the obese Uncle Sam comes back with a trash can, and snatches the plate from each cook, and points to a single piece of broccoli. Which he then proceeds to leave untouched as he RAKES the rest of the food into the trash can. The cooks complain, and Uncle Sam says to the crowd. Do you want more food? To which the video game players say, “YEAH!” Uncle Sam announces, then tell these cooks its not FAIR for them to have more food. The crows screams, and Uncle Sam goes around with the trash can TAKING all the food, leaving only scraps.
      He then takes his bare hands and starts and starts shoveling it into his own mouth. The shiftless people start to whine, so Uncle Sam reaches into the trash can and grabs a single handful and slings it into the crowd, which they proceed to fight over. Uncle Sam then returns to gorging himself from the trash can with his bare hands, wiping them on his shirt occasionally.

      If you don’t mind, I would like to take it one step further. The original Roman empire controlled the entire Mediterranean region (google Roman Empire Map). Remember the Roman empire didn’t collapse but more or less broke up. Interestingly, Daniel 7 predicts 4 major empires would come to power 2500 years ago. Three of them have come and gone. The fourth is a rebuilt Roman empire. Ironically, this is exactly what you are pointing out as trying to be “bought or controlled” through controlling the Mediterranean again…

The Founders left us a Secular republic, not a theocracy. Religion, myths and superstitions have no place in the politics. Your views are no different than those of Iran’s Mullahs or the Taleban.       Fight back! We had a “new” group come in and without any structure to the Prescott Tea Party, changed the name and endorsed John McCain who was NOT supported by “We the People” of the party. You need to fight back or create another Tea Party in its place. Yes the professional politicians want the power and cloak of the Tea Party movement. Don’t let them get away with it!

      Anyone who believes that a 36-hour drive-by through complex, ancient cultures is sufficient to draw conclusions about those cultures and give the rest of us guidance is either delusional or a simpleton. Or both. But it’s par for the course: the distinguishing characteristic of Mr. Beck’s analyses is his gift for taking a tiny aspect of a complex problem, applying a misguided and simplistic interpretation, and acting as if he has solved some outstanding problem of Western civilization.       Appeal2heaven: You are 100% correct on all counts. If you haven’t already, read the book “Of Plymouth Plantation”. It is a first hand account of how pure Christianity sparked the liberty movement (and how Socialism failed again).

      Our local Tea Party was also taken over by the establishment. They are the most blindfolded bunch of neocon koolaid drinkers I have ever met. They call themselves conservatives…and they are in the sense that they want to conserve the status quo. They only vote for Keynesians. They do not want to end foreign aid. They want to continue to police the world (spread radical islam and eradicate Christianity) on the Chinese Communist Credit Card. They say they want to balanced the budget, but don’t want to give up thier “benefits”. Now they want to invade Iran! Woo-hoo! Lets party!

I’m a non-Christian conservative who is frankly sick of hearing Christians trying to stick their religion down my throat, all this talk about “the Devil”, wanting to ban divorce, contraception and abortion. There‘s a good reason why a lot of people vote Democrat and why the term RHINO is a distortion where if you don’t meet the standards of Taliban-like Christians, then you are a bad person. Sorry, we saw enough women burnt at the stake in the Middle Ages to NOT want any return to political power of such Christian fanatics. If you want to see Obama re-elected, then just run Santorum as the Rep nominee. Complain about Big Government, but want Big Government to put women into prison, ban contraception, force unhappy people to stay married and all that?       Midwesthippie, I’m right there with you. I love the fact that GlennB. calls on all faiths to support each other right now, but most of the people just don’t get the message. I’m a proud Pagan (not Wiccan) and I have several Punjabi Hindu friends that all love to watch GB, (YES, we do love America too). But we won’t be going to the Restoring Love for fear that we will be singled out and not accepted. GB has a grand view, too bad others can’t get past themselves to follow it.

      Oh jeez, according to Beck, where are “just about” to have a revolution in the US, President Obama is “just about” to establish a dictatorship and kill 10 million people. The caliphate is “just about” to happen. WWIII is “just about” to happen, as it has been for the last 5 years or however long Beck has been on TV. In the US violence and blood running in the streets is “just about” to happen.

      Folks, Glenn is selling fear and you’re buying it. He’s telling you what is “just about” to happen, and you’ll pay money for that. Funny though, although it may be “just about” to happen, it never does. But he’s sure making money of selling you what is “just about” to happen. At some point I‘d think you’d “just about” start to realize he’s a false profit.

      Glenn Beck isn’t so bad. Sometimes the only sources for a big window on the world are from people and their organizations who’re carrying a particular religious security blanket as well. Yes, it’s sometimes deeply annoying, but let’s not throw the baby out with the bath water. In the end, we all are responsible to ourselves to balance out our information through a WIDE variety of sources before making our final investments. Connect your OWN dots while keeping an open mind.       WWIII is not that far fetched. I have kids. I don’t want it, but I won’t put a hand to the side of my face turn my head to avert my gaze at then possibility.

      I was re-reading Strategy & Tactics form January 2008. They had information like a study by sociologists Christina Mesquida & Neil Wiener showed that a society with a high % of greater of unmarried young males go to war more frequently. China? We‘d better convince them that aborting girls is not in anyone’s self interest or send in some gay activists (a Machiavellian solution).

      Also in the same issue was the fact that resource stress is the # 1 cause of war. Obama went to war to protect oil shipments from Libya to Italy & France. Gee, thanks Obama.

      In my learned opinion Obama will be the prime cause for WW3. He did not support the Iranian Spring in 2009 (Iranian Green Revolution). If the theocracy would have fallen to democratic forces of the youth, then Hizbollah, the Iranian nuke program & the spiraling Mideast mess would not have happened.

      Judging the many pieces if information we have of you, you did vote for Obama. Look in the mirror. You have only yourself to blame.

      glenn opened my eyes to many things. i have my gold,silver, food storage, etc… and feel better prepared. recently he did a great story on the border. where did that apocalypse go? did we fix the problem…i though it was a matter of life or death and all of America’s future depended on fixing our border/mexico problem. he must have gotten side tracked by tweets from ex supermodels. are you suggesting that glenn is not open to critisism? worship of glenn, who is absolute truth(?), by his audience is scary. i would settle for at least 50/50 entertainment and enlightenment. it’s like being frustrated with a close friend. what happened to our funny pal?

      Ayatollah’s preventing women from becoming full members of society. Per Hayek, the only resource is the human mind. Iranian is losing 50% of that resource at the “get go”. Having less problem solving capability they will hit resource stress sooner than they otherwise would.

      European & American socialist policies have led to high youth unemployment (double digit) ever since the 1960s. The socialists are having fiat money printed (2006). They are creating dislocations & stress throughout society.

      The unsuspecting millions consumed by splitting atoms will not have time to learn the lessons of fire.
      They will simply evaporate. The shocked survivors of an earthly hell may not learn much right away either because their muddled focus will be on each new encounter as possibly their last.       Energy, Food, Education-(media, schools) these 3 controls the world’s population of every country.

      The Progressive Socialist Left has infiltrated each of these primary control points and have been steadily remaking them in their image. It went un-noticed by the general population due to it’s creeping gradual-ness and so many still cannot see what is going on.

      The common assumption is that life – events proceed as the days un-fold; that things go along more or less in a natural moving fashion and we react to that movement as needed to keep our place in the world.

      So many view the world as basically good. Not realizing that a few very rich people (Soros, and so forth) are using their wealth to manipulate the functioning of virtually everything. The end result is already pre-determined. Once we reach the tipping point the rest will fall rapidly to a conclusion already scripted and well underway.

      Although capitalism and the western way of life are under assault the move to socialism is only a ruse. It’s not that our destination will be so great for us, it’s just that it must be better for the few men that are leading us there.
      We have only one opportunity in our life time to begin the process of saving our freedom. It’s not yet too late; Help us to rid the government of the radical change agents. Nov. 2012 !!!

    I am sooooo confused! We have Glenn Beck telling us that a Greek Default will spread to the U.S. and crash the Euro/Dollar from a Domino effect, and then tonight on the Real News from the Blaze, he had a nice fella from the, “Reason Foundation” tell us that Europe will work it out and it won’t mean much to us, and none of the Real News anchors challenged him. This fella sounded reasonable, spoke as though he were speaking to an informed audience and he made good points.

    A couple of weeks ago The Real News from the Blaze was talking about the threat Iran is to the U.S. and Will Cain and Buck Sexton both said, “Nah….there’s no threat from Iran! That’s crazy talk!” So is Glenn crazy? What’s going on?

      If the the graph of money printed looks like almost like an exponential curve then people at alt-market talking about barter or food security look like sane people.     I read a book written in 1878 by an elitist of the time. It mentions how to start the three needed world wars. The first targeted in in early 20th century. The second would be targeted in the late 30′s. The third approximately 60 years after the end of the WWII. Then Glenn mentioned the book written by the imam around 1928. Glancing through that book backs up the previous book written in 1878. The facts are absolutely astounding at how close things are according to “their” plans.

    It is upon us.
    We can look away no longer.

You need rational good leaders who can negotiate on the proper issues to diffuse the situation. There is only one candidate who would rather NOT have a world war.       The two Balkan Wars were in 1912 thru 1913. There were purely regional, ethnic & nationalistic reasons for those wars. Those wars were also tied to the balance of power because some of the actors were tied to Austria Hungary Empire, Russian Empire, etc.

      This is much as Syria is tied to Russia & Iran. Israel & Iraq were tied to the U.S. Wars in the Mideast are as much about the global balance of power as they are regional.

      Looks like a repeat to me. I bet in the next 100 years sociologists have equations proving that war was inevitable (like in the Isaac Asimov’s Foundation trilogy). Especially when you take a bumbler like Obama into account.

      George Washington said in time of peace prepare for war (among the man erudite people to have said so). If you are prepared no one wants to mess with you. Obumbler & Panetta say the opposite. They said cut the military & use the proceeds to buy votes. Internationals politics be da mned.

      Oh yeah, Obama is building up a lot of bad karma for the U.S.
