Worst Week Ever for Obama?

It‘s been a rough week for President Obama as his campaign’s mainline of attack against presumptive GOP nominee Mitt Romney has struggled, thrusting momentum to the side of the former Massachusetts governor’s campaign. On Friday the RNC released a new ad highlighting the “mutiny” against President Obama from May 20 to May 25, pointing to “fourteen Democrats and counting” who have spoken out against actions made by the president and his reelection campaign.

The ad reads off Cory Booker, Deval Patrick, and Joe Manchin among the list of the president’s Democrat dissenters, followed by Fox News footage discussing President Obama’s poor showing in Democratic primaries this week. “It’s been a bad week for President Obama but a bad three years for Americans,” the ad concludes.

The Hill reports that the Obama campaign has blasted the video in a statement, maintaining that they are happy to continue talking about Romney’s tenure at Bain.

“A week spent discussing Mitt Romney’s record as a corporate buyout specialist was bad for one person — Mitt Romney. Even his own supporters admitted what we all know to be the truth: that his private sector career wasn’t about creating jobs as he claims — it was about getting a high return on his investments, no matter the cost to workers, companies, or communities,” said Obama spokeswoman Lis Smith. “And if the decibel level of Republicans’ faux outrage is any indication, they seem to understand that Americans don’t want this type of experience in White House.”

The statement echoes remarks made by President Obama in Chicago Monday affirming his campaign’s Bain Capital line of attack.

“If the main basis for him suggesting he can do a better job is his track record as the head of a private equity firm, then both the upsides and the downsides are worth examining,” Obama said Monday.

    If I were Romney, I would prep for this question during the presidential debates by finding out a few things:

    1) Since Bain invested money in companies, how much longer did people get to work while the company tried to get back on it’s feet?

    2) how many jobs were saved when Bain initially injected cash into a business?

    3) how many chances/how long were those companies allowed to operate before Bain decided that it didn’t want to lose any more money?

    4) were people thrown out on the street or were they offered a buyout or alternate employment?

    5)What’s the % of companies that went on to be successful vs. companies that had to be liquidated?

    6) What’s the exact number of jobs created vs. jobs lost? (”If you subtract the jobs lost from the jobs gained, Bain created/lost XXX jobs?

    I would answer the question this way:

    The purpose of Bain capital was to inject money into undervalued companies. There were two possible outcomes when we did this. First, the company fails and we liquidate. Second, the company becomes successful and everyone wins. Bain didn’t have control over how the companies were run, so if it failed it was the direct consequence of the company’s management. By injecting money into those companies, everyone that worked there got to keep their jobs longer than they would have if Bain hadn’t gotten involved. If you subtract the total number of jobs lost from jobs created, Bain created/lost XXX jobs. Simple.

      I don’t think he really “wants to rule”–he doesn’t even WANT to be president.

      But I do believe that he is part of a conglomerate of thugs and “one-worlders” who do want to RULE, and I believe that he and Mochelle we made big promises for the future of traveling, golf, money to buy clothes, etc., etc., etc., to be used as a figurehead to put the future into place.

      Why else would this man have been groomed since his childhood in the so many ways he has been? Why did Stanley Dunham want a son so badly that he named his daughter a boy’s name? From this man on, there were plans for BHO, plans that probably evolved and changed over the years, but plans that could be manouvored and railroaded right up to today.

      How did a person become president who “no one” but his close collegues know. How did a Senator that almost NEVER VOTED ON ANYTHING in the Senate, get elected? How did an “unknown” rise to the top in a very “specialized” world. Because it’s been planned for a long time. Not specifically BHO, several were groomed or evaluated, but he was THE ONE who was narcissistic enough and unknown enough to pull it off!

      God help us to fight this evil! Realize that all of this has been prophecied for many years. He may not be THE ANTICHRIST, (and I don’t think he is), but is posses the spirit of antiChrist (evil!), as does so many around him and who are funding/directing their plan!

      Romney supports the 2nd Amendment, Obama wants to destroy it…
      Romney has always fought hard for traditional marriage, even going to speak infront of the Senate defending it and fought against his state to overturn it, partnering with religious groups across the US.
      Romney fights for capitalism and the free-market, Obama not quite.
      Romney fights against abortion and Obama supports it.
      Romney fights conservative fights, he may not speak it that well but his history in Mass. shows it.

    I understand Romney is attempting to take the ” high-road” and NOT get down & dirty

    I equate Obama to rebound booty. We broke up with a long term relationship and needed alittle comfort to carry us over. We’ve had to paid for our decision to date the local watering hole skank.
    A little itch here alot of burning sensation there, but we’ll make it thru. Now we’re done with it, we can move on to more serious and long term girl that we can bring home to the parents and leave the greasy hair, disease infested smoke stack behind.

    Noticing more and more Dems coming out against Obama – Lanny Davis (re talking about private equity), etc….Huffington Post having articles about truth for a change about him, some media…..
    think maybe Obama’s time has ended – the “powers that be” might have decided he has to go……“damaged goods”. Plus I’m hearing Corsi (bc issue in Hawaii) will be coming out with huge bombshells with undeniable proof re that & other fraudulent issues that will not bode well for him. Too much. Next question, what happens next? Something has to give in the near future and for some reason I don‘t think he’ll just hang around and nothing happens until election time.
    We are hearing all those rumors about Hillary…..maybe they’ll call martial law…..I guess we’ll see but I do think “they” have decided to unload him. And the plot thickens……….

Romney wuld have dumped the business… Obama gave them millions! He is good about just giving taxpayers dollars away t anyone or anything. Romney would never do that. He is a businessman..       Boston Globe reported on Oct. 25 1994 Bain Capital received 10 million in FDIC loan forgiveness.

      Bain bought Steel Dynamics Inc and needed a 44 million dollar government bailout of the pension plan. Even though they had to take 44 million in government bailouts, Bain itself cleared 10 million in earnings from the closed plant.
