Trust me, the video is much more exciting than the newscaster’s setup.
Here’s what happened: council members in Seoul, South Korea took to shoving, yelling, and fighting on Wednesday after majority GNP Party members opposed a Democratic Party bill that would give free lunches to public school students.
Here’s how it looked:
I guess the GNP understands the old saying from Milton Friedman: “there’s no such thing as a free lunch.”

Posted on December 3, 2010 at 3:05pmNorth Korea can’t even muster 24 hours of electric power or feed all of its people without outside charity. All the Koreans have to do, in the face of an invasion is to invite the soldiers to dinner or hand out free food at the many, many restaurants around Seoul.
And yes, there have been fist fights in the Parliament before. I was living in Korea for one of them, I’ve actually sat in the chamber on a visit to their capitol building.

Posted on December 3, 2010 at 1:39pmFree food is wealth redistribution. It is also socialism. Whomever controls the food controls the people. IS SOUTH KOREA IN A SLOW SLIDE TOWARDS SOCIALISM? Sounds like it.

Posted on December 3, 2010 at 1:05pmI am so glad that our thousands of men and women and our millions worth of Military equipment protecting them from being over run by the North allows them to advance their socialist agenda.

Posted on December 3, 2010 at 11:48amLooks to me like they need to put a electric fence up between them. Then let them push and shove all they want. Either that just put them in the ring and let them slug it out. The winner gets his way. But this is what you see when you put kids in to make adult decisions.

Posted on December 3, 2010 at 11:26amDissappointing. Not one haymaker thrown. I was hoping for a battle royale cage-match to determine the outcome of the free lunch bill.
Hey Socialists, pick on someone your own size. Oh wait, they ARE all the same size.
