Susan Candiotti is not a rookie reporter. So it‘s hard to believe that she didn’t know exactly what she was doing when she drop a two-word verbal bomb in the middle of her Sunday report on the slayings in the Tulsa area.
Now, to her credit, she did warn people that she would be using “sensitive” language. We’ll double down on that warning and say the same — this is an uncut clip:

Reports: 1 dead, 2 wounded in Texas beach shooting

SURFSIDE BEACH, Texas (AP) One person has been killed and two others have been wounded in a shooting during a packed Texas Gulf Coast beach party.
Word of mouth about an unauthorized party spread on social media Saturday, drawing thousands to Surfside Beach, about 40 miles south of Galveston.
The Houston Chronicle (http://bit.ly/Hokr2I ) reports the shooting started around 9 p.m. Saturday. It identified the person killed as 25-year-old Derrick Milam, quoting his stepsister, Danielle Banks.
Milam was hit in the neck by a stray bullet and died at the beach.
Surfside Beach authorities didn’t return calls seeking information Sunday. It wasn’t clear if arrests were made.
Initial reports had three injured in addition to the fatality. But Surfside Police Chief Gary Phillips told The (Brazoria County) Facts newspaper that only two others sustained gunshot wounds.

Jones has let it be known that Leftists should now start raising racial hell on every front. CNN, as part of the Obama media network and its finanicer, George Soros, are merely doing the job they’ve been paid to do and that is to raise the temperature of racial tensions to a boiling point. The ultimate purpose is to fire up the base of African-American voters for Obama. I do have to add that my sincere condolences go out to those who were the victims of this violence. The media ignores most of them. It became a firestorm so quickly that it had to be an organized effort. I believe it was an attempt to try to help Obama win Florida. It is really sadl that some people would try to use a tragic death in that way. I don’t agree that anyone is trying to start a race war though. I just think they don’t mind playing with fire to achieve their ends. We have some very immoral people in this country. People like Sharpton.
I don’t have a problem with the reporter using those words however. It was the truth and that’s all I ask for.

They didn’t get what they were looking for with the Martin case, because all of the facts keep damaging their case. Shooter wasn’t white. Victim wasn’t a sweet young waif. All those pesky witnesses screwing everything up with truth and fact. So what are they to do?
Jump to a new case. A disturbed man who‘s father was murdered by a black criminal while trying to protect the guy’s sister (victim’s daughter). Don’t mention that anywhere in the report that the shooter was a black man. His girlfriend and mother of his child commits suicide in front of him and the baby a few months ago. He snaps and goes off on a group of blacks. Somehow, the race of the new victims is plastered all over the story, while the race of murderer who’s act served as the catalyst even that apparently made this guy feel the way he does is inadvertently omitted.
Nah. No agenda. Nothing to see here. You’re all just overreacting :)

Susan was only reading the actual quote of the surviving victim of a slayed family member and had no intention of offending anyone; in fact, the words within the quote were blurred out and the host did issue an apology for allowing the curse words to be heard uncensored. That said, CNN would have saved themselves from unneeded controversy had they simply censored out the curse words altogether.

There would be a full blown boycott attempt as well as probably an attempt at criminal charges. I‘m no fan of this politically correct crap but that’s a very specific word that creates problems. There is no reason to utter it on television, even with a warning. This woman as well as whoever else was involved in this decision should be fired as they can’t seem to make intelligent decisions about what is news and what is simply a cry out for ratings.
Here’s a tip CNN, and this goes out to the rest of you “news” organizations too. If you actually report the news without a bias going either way and do so professionally, people will watch.

I remember as the rep giffords was shot I turned to cnn when fox went on break and within 10 minutes from the breaking news story of her shooting they had already said this is a white tea party member. they do nothing even remotely close to reporting, they lie and manipulate to get ratings with no consequences.
