Yes, This Is Al Sharpton‘s ’Lin Forward’ MSNBC Ad

Al Sharpton got in on some of the “Linsanity” fervor that’s gripped the basketball-watching world, recording a “Lin Forward” MSNBC parody ad in honor of New York Knicks sensation Jeremy Lin.

“We’ve been waiting for a movement like this for decades, Americans have hope again and there’s real change in the air,” Sharpton says. “It’s got people from Wall Street to Main Street looking for their own diamond in the rough. It’s about looking past the surface, beyond the stereotypes and giving unlikely people a chance.”

As Sharpton finishes speaking, MSNBC’s “Lean Forward” logo comes up, only to replace the word “lean” with “Lin.”

The “Lean Forward” ad campaign has produced some memorable spots, including Sharpton reminiscing about gorging himself on blueberry pie as a child.

I hope everyone noticed BIG MOUTH SHARPTON didn‘t get invited to Whiteney’s funeral. Boy that must have been a blow to him.

I did see where Jesse Jackson pushed his way in by REQUESTING an invitation. He looked like either he had been on drugs……………or is 90 years old. He was downright ugly!

I was wondering about that….not long ago Rev Al and Jessie and others were on tv constantly talking about the high unemployment rate among blacks….then it just all went away. The unemployment rate among blacks is 3 or 4 times the nationa average…do they not care anymore, or were they told to sit down and shut up ?????

“It’s about looking past the surface, beyond the stereotypes and giving unlikely people a chance.”

You’re lying again, Al Baby. If you really wanted to give “unlikely” people a chance you would be pushing to let midgets play in the NFL.

After all, black basketball players in college are allowed to play and their collective I.Q. is somewhere in double digits for all five of them.

You pushed for unqualified blacks to go to college. You pushed for women in combat. You pushed to overturn DADT. all of which are square pegs in round holes.

How is forcing the NFL teams to include midgets any different than these things?

Hey Everyone you’re missing the point: He said that we finally have hope (that we’ve been looking for for decades – ergo BHO has not provided the promised hope, while serving up a big change helping). The racist comments miss the point, giving unlikely ‘people’ a chance: can you tell me anyone more unlikely than the current usurper-in-chief.

Sharpton is just a regugetated ‘60-70‘s bottomfeeding hack playing on what’s left of the whitie Democrat gentry’s guilt money. He’s in the same I.Q. level as Maxine Waters and Shiela Jackson Lee, who count on the product of The Great Society to put em back in congress over and over again. These people do nothing but propagandize resentment and covet “thy neighbor”. Isn’t the later activity something the “reverend” should discourage?
