Yes, This Is Michael Moore Singing ‘The Times They Are A-Changin” on the New Occupy Wall Street Album

As promised, filmmaker Michael Moore has lent his voice to the Occupy Wall Street benefit album with his very own rendition of Bob Dylan’s “The Times They are a-Changin.’”

The three-minute, 30-second cover features Moore on the lead vocals with clips of what sound like him addressing an Occupy gathering.

The song was released online Friday ahead of the planned May 15 release for “Occupy this Album.“ Described as ”99 tracks — 99 artists for the 99 percent,” other big-name talents set to be featured include Crosby and Nash, Joan Baez, Third Eye Blind, Willie Nelson and Yoko Ono with all proceeds going to benefit the Occupy Wall Street movement.

Moore had teased the song on his Twitter page Thursday, describing it as “a little surprise” for his followers.

“They had asked me 2 direct a music video of the album. I said,‘You don’t want me 2 sing a song?’ They called my bluff & said ‘Yes!Sing!’ Ha!” Moore tweeted.

      That was a rhetorical question, no one here needs to actually prove their human value, but why criticize someone famous trying to help the less fortunate, just like Sean, Bill, and Glenn often do? I have faithfully helped Vietnam Nam veterans since 1980 and added some wounded warrior support in recent years.

      Since old Mikie is a 1% er this don’t make sense. I didn’t hear about him giving the IRS an extrea 10% of his 30 million bucks $$$. He‘s kinda like the protestors that wanf to share the wealth but when it’s about giving one of their grades to someone that is failing – no way. Those grade are the only things those kids have ever worked for. Parents are letting them live at home and giving them money – I-pads, clothes, Cars and any thing else they want.

      If you want to ‘help those less fortunate’ then go to your local Church, get up off your butt and volunteer, start a soup kitchen etc. Support a smaller gov’t, fiscal responsibility and freedom. Join the Tea Party.

      If you want to hurt those less fortunate then get gov’t involved in their lives, make them become dependent on the gov’t, like a child is dependent on their parents. The bigger the gov’t, the smaller the citizen.

      Moore doesn’t see what a ridiculous characterization of someone who cares he really is. From his apparent girth he isn’t wanting for food, and since he needs to hire a tentmaker to be his taylor, he has got money coming outa his over- full rectal orofice. As Bugs Bunny said once “what a maroon!” Just another hollywood fool with too much money and too much time on his hands, making the same mistake in thinking that just because he has greater name recognition than the real Americans that his ideas count for more than the rest of us. Why should anyone take a person who makes his living pretending or selling ‘make believe’ seriously in anything they say? Why have not the mythical 99% demanded that this pig give his ill-gotten gain to “the cause”? Could it be that in spite of their ‘high falutin edjumacations’ that the lot of them are really dumber than posts? No offense to the post intended.

      I had a seriously crazy Liberal Progressive college teacher that made us watch one of Moore’s moronic movies. I remember thinking to myself, “Is this movie supposed to be serious? Michael Moore is an idiot! I can’t believe this teacher buys into this nonsense! My teacher’s a nut, but I have to write a long paper that agrees with this idiocy or I’ll have wasted $1000 and three months of my time. I can’t afford to do that.”

    I think he ought to share the wealth and give all these protestors most his money and property. He doesn’t need it all. It’s not his, it’s theirs! He could stand to eat much less and follow Michelle’s advise too regarding heathy foods. Maybe join Jenny Craig or something to get the weight down to acceptable government standards. And if he has a heart attack from being so grossly over weight under a government health plan, they should not keep him alive because he did it to himself not keeping the weight off and following the Obama government health and nutrition laws and regs. No tax payer money should be spent keeping him alive. He is insignificant and a burden on society. Pull the plug. Of course, this is what he wants from the left progressive movement, right?

      Sleaze, can’t prove it, but I’ve heard him say it many many times. In Person. I met him during his fraction of a semester that he was in college. It cracks me up to see him with the black fists behind him, he loves to use race to get attention, but he’s lily white, never lived around black people, never had a black friend.

      Stop and think about this … the Blacks and the rest of theOws Gang are wanting the government to support them .. by doing that they are turning themselves into the Governments SLAVES ! ..
