Yet Another Beloved Hollywood Actor Thinks the Tea Party is Racist

Yet Another Beloved Hollywood Actor Thinks the Tea Party is Racist | Samuel L. JacksonThe latest Hollywood actor to accuse the Tea Party of racism? Samuel L. Jackson.

After Morgan Freeman’s declaration last month that the “racist” Tea Party was doing “whatever it can to get this black man out of office,” Jackson weighed in on some GOP politics, where he agreed with his fellow actor’s sentiments.

“It’s pretty obvious what they are,” Jackson said in an interview with New York Magazine. “The division of the country is not about the government having too much power. I think everything right now is geared toward getting that guy out of office, whatever that means.”

Jackson continued: “It’s not politics. It is not economics. It all boils down to pretty much to race. It is a shame.”

Asked about the recent report that Republican presidential candidate Rick Perry’s hunting camp bore the name “N—–head,” the “Pulp Fiction” legend said he hadn’t heard about it yet, but wasn’t terribly shocked.

“I grew up in the segregated South, nothing surprised me,” he said. “ That’s not surprising at all.”

Jackson also dismissed the notion that Republican candidate Herman Cain was the first to come out condemning Perry for the name.

“Well, that‘s just what they’re going to do,” he said about Cain. “But it‘s not going to hurt Perry’s reputation in a whole lot of places, so it’s not a big deal.”

Jackson said Perry will “be fine” because “he’s a Republican and this is America.”

“He‘ll actually gain respect from a lot of people that he didn’t have respect from before. He’ll be all right,” he said.

Responding to Jackson’s remarks during an appearance on Fox News, Congressman Allen West (R-Fla.), essentially said the star needs to keep to the movies and stay out of politics.

“I think Samuel L. Jackson needs to pay more attention to the upcoming release of the movie Avengers next summer and not getting concerned with the politics and policies of a failed administration,” said West, who is a member of both the Tea Party Caucus and Congressional Black Caucus.

He blasted Jackson for using the Tea Party as a “scapegoat” and said he’s losing sight of the more issues, like the disproportionately high unemployment rate among blacks.

“Samuel L. Jackson, I guess, disregards the 16.7 percent unemployment rate in the black community, a 20 percent unemployment rate for black adult males and a 45-46 percent unemployment for black teenagers,” West said. “The racism he’s talking about is coming out of the White House and this administration.”

Sorry Mr Jackson but you are mistaken. The Tea Party does not endorse candidates, however, many of us are trying to get a half white man out and an all black man in. In neither case is race the issue. Let it go.

I aint no hero and i saw things i still have nightmares about. But i stayed on and made it outta there. You think im one of the ones that told me to go to hell. Sam, you go to hell!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just shut up and act. How wealthy are you Mr. Jackson? All in this horribly racist country that has a black president. Yes, racism is alive and well in America today. Most of it black against white. Slavery existed on Earth before America and it exists now. Only America killed 600,000 of it’s own people to end it here. You’re welcome Mr. Jackson. I‘ll be waiting for my reparations from you for my grandfather’s death freeing your grandfather from an atrocity that WE didn’t invent.

Why does The Blaze edit out words? Now my post just has a bunch of asterisks in place of a word. Can you say politically correct?

“Beloved” Hollywood actor(s)? Excuse me? C’mon, these people are just actors which no more qualifies them to make weighty political analysis than a fire hydrant. And you know what dogs do to fire hydrants…….

Ok, so let me get this straight. The actor in Pulp Fiction who said the word “******” more times than can be counted is accusing someone of being a racist? That is like Hitler playing golf with Netanyahu. When will these people become irrevelant?

Once again Congressman Allen West shows how great he is. Samuel Jackson along with Morgan Freeman and the rest of hollyweird should just stick to acting and stay out of politics. I know that they have the right to say what they want to say but I have the right not to give a crap. Being a proud member of the TEA party and also a black conservative I take great offense to this idiot’s comments. Hey Mace Windu it ain’t because obummer is black that we oppose him. It’s because his policies have wreaked havoc on this beloved country of ours. And yet the people you Morgan and the rest of hollyweird call racists are the ones who have made you very rich. You hypocrites need to STFU and get a clue ASAP. Also Samuel you personally can take your purple lightsaber and stick it where the sun don’t shine you racist jerk.

I for one an so sick and tired of these Hollywood self pro-claimed Political manipulators. Come on America, how many times can they try to use the race card to put down the Tea Party. Add Samuel Jackson to my list of Hollywood’s who I refuse to open my wallet for. This is the only way that we can let them know we are sick and tired of this. Tell him if he has an opinion, keep it to himself or blog under another name. stop using his fame to push the lefts agenda. ….and Mr. Jackson, why do you think Martin Luther King was a Republican?….oh wait a minute, I don’t really care what your opinion is.
