You Won’t Believe How One FL Strip Club is Preparing for the Republican National Convention

Just when you thought the Sarah Palin impersonators had finally crawled back into the woodwork, one Florida strip club is trotting out arguably the worst of the lot (sorry, Tina Fey).
Why? To entice Republican National Convention attendees into their clubs, of course!
Tampa Bay Online explains that one strip club has hired a woman Twitter users believe to be Lisa Ann, the “actress” in a pornographic film called “Nailin’ Palin.”
The New York Daily News summarizes:
With high-rolling Republicans flooding into Tampa Bay, Fla., this August for the party’s convention, local strip club owners hope many of them spill into their champagne rooms.
The Tampa Bay area boasts more than 40 clubs. Some expect their business to more than quadruple during the massive, four-day Republican National Convention, WFLA-TV reported.
To get a leg up on the competition, some are adding special attractions to help entice GOP bigs.
So while top Republicans work the conventioneers during the day, a Sarah Palin doppelganger will be working the same crowd at night. A strip club called Thee DollHouse, which got a $1 million facelift in advance of the big event, has hired a look-alike – sporting glasses and her trademark updo – to entertain hard-working Republicans after-hours.
Tampa Bay was the setting for the Channing Tatum strip flick, “Magic Mike,” but no word on whether a “Magic Mitt” will be entertaining Republican ladies at any of the male clubs. [Emphasis added]

Another club has installed webcams so convention-goers can form “relationships” with the strippers before they arrive.
Tampa Bay Online explains:
“Not only can you see the dancers on the stage and in the dressing room, you can also talk to them in an online chat room,” said Don Kleinhans, owner of the 2001 Odyssey on North Dale Mabry Highway.
By the time the RNC begins in late August, Kleinhans hopes out-of-towners will have already formed attachments to his dancers from watching them online through the Club Cam System, which the 2001 Odyssey developed.
Customers pay $4 a minute to chat on top of the monthly $19.95 membership.
“Basically, what you see in a bricks-and-mortar strip club you can now see live on the Internet,” Kleinhans said.
Florida’s strip club owners, apparently, are pretty convinced Republican National Convention attendees aren’t as concerned with “family values” as they may appear, and they expect bringing in a stripper who dresses like Sarah Palin is the perfect way to entice them.
Will the strategy work?

The Democrat party should be forced to use something only slightly superior to their membership as a symbol. I propose a sun whitened dog turd. Though, the turd is way more patriotic than a Dem by itself, so I propose we picture it on a soviet ICBM, which is also only slightly more patriotic than a Democrat.
