Here’s your first chance to see actress Julianne Moore as she tackles the role of Sarah Palin in the upcoming HBO movie, “Game Change.” And at least from the picture (via The Hollywood Reporter), she’s convincing:
Production for the film began today, which also features Ed Harris as John McCain and Woody Harrelson as Steve Schmidt, McCain’s senior adviser.
The Hollywood Reporter, which released the picture, gives more details about the origin of the film and who’s behind it:
The flick is based on the bestselling book of the same name by John Heilemann and Mark Halperin. It will be directed by Jay Roach, with a script from Danny Strong. The duo previously collaborated on HBO’s Emmy-winning film Recount. Playtone’s Tom Hanks and Gary Goetzman will serves as executive producers on the project.

Posted on April 27, 2011 at 2:15pmIt is simply amazing to me the attention (negative) she has gotten and how it takes on a mind of its own. This is meant to show anyone who even dreams of being someone like Sarah what they think about them in advance…beware wannabes, we will run you and your entire family through the wringer and we’ll enjoy it and make movies, late night will take turns, people will insinuate the most hateful things about you. How much more will they do this to Christians who believe in a God who sends people to Hell for rejecting him and living a life of Evil. Way more! Just what because it is beginning.

Posted on April 27, 2011 at 2:13pmNo, she is too thin both in the face and in the torso. I suppose this is one more venue the liberals and progressives can use to trash Palin. It is amazing to me, having lived through the feminist movemet that not one single person in any of the feminist groups would step up to defend Palin. It is because she is attractive, bright, fit, energetic, and possesses commom sense–somthing no one in DC has! The myth that liberal women are brilliant and conservative women are stupid has been debunked now that we have a “genius” from Harvard in the WH. Journalists have perpetuated that myth for years but it no longer holds water! If having a masters from Harvard makes you a genius, I wouldn’t want one. I’ll keep mine from a non-Ivy league college.

Posted on April 27, 2011 at 2:07pmNice try! Too thin–in the face and in the torso. Nope…but I am sure they will use this venue to trash and disparage her again. That’s all the MSM can do.. and Hollywood is definitely onboard. It is interesting to me that no one from the femisnist movement will step up to the plate and defent Palin. It’s because she is attractive, fit, energetic, and possesses good common sense–something that no one in DC seems to have these days!! And all those women‘s groups who fought diligently for women’s rights are silent and culpable in the thrashing of a decent woman.

Posted on April 27, 2011 at 2:06pmThe closest theater playing Atlas Shrugged is 200 miles away from me, but I’m sure this flick will be in my pro-union town theater on opening night.
Report Post »OneRepublic4us
Posted on April 27, 2011 at 3:26pmThe first week Atlas Shrugged came out it was at a theater near a major college. I don‘t like that city and that part of town isn’t really safe anymore (for some reason liberals make for good targets for criminals or they are criminals, I’m not sure what the case is). The second week in addition to that theater it started showing in a couple of theaters located in family friendly neighborhoods or malls. Starting this Friday I won’t have to drive 25 miles to see it. Atlas Shrugged seems to be spreading to places where more people are likely to see it. Keep checking at theaters near you or call your local theaters to see if and when they might show it.

Posted on April 27, 2011 at 2:05pmTypical Hollywood; they still live in fantasy land where they think all they have to do is make their slanted left-wing false interpretation of how the Palin story should be and we’ll all simply say “oh, ok, now I see her in that negative light since you made a movie about her.”
Sorry Hollywood, we‘re much too informed nowadays to be suckered into you’re lame attempts to change history like Stone’s “JFK.”
Hollywood never really gets how out of touch they really are. .

Posted on April 27, 2011 at 2:04pmJudging by the names involved in this project it will be as truthful as an Al Gore or Micheal Moore movie. It will also cement misinformation, as Tina Fey did on SLC. By that, I mean I know of people that repeat quotes from Tina Fey on SNL as factual quotes from Palin. They did get the ‘look’ down, though.

Posted on April 27, 2011 at 2:06pmDid you write the book or are you getting proceeds from the film? Just wondering…and when it comes to Sarah and Hollywood—b.s. Their angle has been and will continue to be to destroy Sarah Palin. You may be correct about the left/right thing as those on the right have also engaged in tearing her down—but make no mistake, it is geared to the left who will vote for leftist candidates.
