‘You’re a Liar’: Student Who Heckled Obama Gets Roughed Up

The New York Times explains it this way:

“I’m going to need you just as fired up as you were in 2008,” Mr. Obama told them.

When a heckler yelled “You’re a liar!” in response, people nearby spent the next few minutes shouting the heckler down, making it difficult for many in the audience to hear what the president, who was flanked on the dais by Maryland’s top elected Democrats, was saying.

Now see it happen:

(via Breitbart.tv)

From the YouTube post:

President Obama came to Bowie State University and was met by a student that spoke out against his speak concerning how conservatives and Republicans are the reason for today’s economic condition. The student screamed out “you’re a liar”, causing the president to pause his speech. Then the student was physically beaten up by supporters, cursed down, and thrown side to side.

Obama then immediately changed his speech to start to defend himself and policies.

He has told more lies in 2 years than any president I’ve known, and they are so blatant. I feel for the kid. He may have been pre-screened for the event, and probably was. Maybe it was a class requirement that he attend. But it just seemed to me like he’d had just about enough and could not be quiet any longer. He lost his temper; he’s a young man. Give him that much. He had every right to speak his mind, and it was criminal to harm him in any way for his freedom of speech.

The reason he speaks in a university setting is because the students are often required to attend lectures of visiting speakers. This unfortunate student will be required to write a “graded” paper expressing the ideals his professors in Philosophy or Political Science most likely share with Obama–leftist, socialist, Marxist, communist ideals–if he wants a passing grade.

I believe Obama was a professor too. I’d l-o-v-e to see one of his class syllabus–which outlines his requirements for reading, written papers, and tests. Better yet, how about getting a copy of a written report/paper he wrote for one of his professors–better yet, a copy of his thesis. If memory serves me, didn’t he say that as a student (and professor), he hung around fellow-minded Marxist/extremist professors. That’s probably how the idea came up for him to run for U.S. President–the rest was in the details–the teleprompters’ function, and George Soro’s money. Conspiracy (?) No–Fact! It has taken decades of like-minded, anti-American leftist, socialist, Marxist/extremist–whose charter is to bring down the most powerful nation in the world. At least that is what Obama’s multi-nation “apology” tour promised–to make changes for the “spoiled, ecologically-wasteful” lifestyle of the average American citizen. To bring us in-line with the third world nations–according to his partner’s plans. Afterall, he promised all, “A change you can believe in”! It’s more like a nightmire.

Thank God I didn’t vote for this jerk–I’d feel betrayed. Oops, I do feel betrayed that an Anti-American (Anti-Colonist) could walk in as President–the most powerful official–with a pre-selected adminisitration of like-minded “rats”and then to have communists as “regular guests,” withunlimited access to the White House.

Wasn’t it amazing how the multi-thousand(s) page “Bailout” Stimilus Bill was ready to be signed by Pres. Bush so quickly after Obama’s presidential win. Looking back, this Bill seems to be have been designed to “finish off” our financial infa-struture. This multi-thousand page government document was written by Obama’s previous contacts, the Alliance group, who also wrote ObamaCare, the back-door deals with politians, as well as, all other government law(s), plus other deals yet to be discovered.

It kills me when he continues to blame Pres. Bush for all of America’s problems considering the Democrats had control of Congress and the House for 4 years, basically tieing Pres. Bush’s hands from enacting laws which would have helped this country. Fannie and Freddie would never have bled our economy dry if Democrat Barney Frank had so much control over these programs. It makes NO Sense to give loans to people they know will default on the loan in a short time–no credit responsibility at all. We can thank the Democrats for Acorn’s unlawful ways too. Did you know that Acorn was paid by the government to get people to registered to vote AND the Democrat‘s also PAID them to push for votes for Obama’s election. Isn’t that a conflict of interest?(!)

I’d rather the kid had a “LIE” or ‘NOT TRUE” sign to hold up every time Obama spoke one of his untruths, as opposed to shouting. The verbal shout-down technique belongs to the left and they’re welcome to it, as long as the cops are around to haul them off when they reach the point of encroaching on others’ freedom of speech. We’re better than that, by and large, and we need to keep it that way.

Roughed up over politics, just because some want less debt and Constitutional government? It really is all about the money, at least to the banks like the Federal Reserve, who control politics.

Who loves debt? Bankers of course. Who controls our currency? Bankers of course. Specifically, the deceptively misnamed private Federal Reserve, which is a very secretive bank indeed.

Congress curiously enabled the Federal Reserve, formed on December 23, 1913, with the signing of the Federal Reserve Act by President Woodrow Wilson (who later on his death bed woefully lamented what he had done to the nation), to create Federal Reserve Notes to serve as our currency. Then the Fed loans these notes to us at interest rates they determine. Finally the Fed also manages their value and influences the economy by regulating how much currency is in circulation. Why did our government do this?

As required by the Constitution, Congress alone should create our own interest free currency and manage how much is placed into circulation to assure it retains it’s expected value. No interest would be owed to private bankers! Of course, bankers wouldn’t like that. So how do they prevent this? They buy politicians, and lots of them! This has not always been possible with principled politicians who decline to incur unnecessary debt by needlessly borrowing from bankers. History, including our own on occasion, is replete with instances where such resistance resulted in political upheaval, assassination and even war.

The United States has, at rare times, enjoyed the financial benefits of Constitutional self determination under certain administrations. However not every politician has proven immune from the venomous bite of bankers. The Constitution when honored by loyal politicians, served as an insurmountably formidable impediment to the bankers. Ultimately the bankers realized that if they could not bribe ethical men to break the rules, they had to rewrite the rule book. So these diabolical bankers devised a traitorous plan to remove all obstacles in their way, such as honest patriots, by attacking the very heart of our Constitution.

This was accomplished with the 17th amendment, proposed on May 13, 1912, calling for the direct public election of Senators. Prior to this, the Constitution provided a magnificent protection against corruption. However by this insidious amendment, Senators now suddenly faced financial burdens concomitant with campaigning for office, similar to members of the House of Representatives and the President. State Assembly members, familiar to and elected by their local constituents, would no longer simply appoint two trustworthy Senators to represent the constituents of their State in Congress.

The wisdom of Founding Fathers was especially evident here; if one could not buy the necessary vote of a Senator, it made little sense to bribe a member of the House or even the President. Sadly the voters were duped into believing they were gaining increased influence by directly electing their Senators. When in fact the truth is, that by permitting this seemingly sensible amendment, they had surrendered their most valuable State protections from federal abuse. The bankers, with the help of the media of course, had deftly succeeded in removing the Constitutional protections against the full scale corruption of our federal politicians.

Make no mistake, like most politicians today, I’m happy to cooperate fully with the Federal Reserve because, well the perks of being President are awesome! In return, as King and Kenyan in Chief, I’ve begun the final stages of compromising Constitutional law in America by appointing Elena Kagan to the Supreme Court under the guise of diversity. As former Dean of Harvard Law School, she substituted requirements to study the Constitution with studying Islamic Sharia Law. This appointment signaled a concession by the Federal Reserve to cooperate with leading foreign banks. Based on mutual self interests to better protect their merging goals of consolidating financial power, the banker’s successful strategy of influencing politics by various means of manipulating elections, will continue unabated, but this time to create a puppet global government.

So you see there is no need to worry about paying off this crushing debt; it is not designed to be repaid. It‘s designed to destroy America’s economic stability. This will cause crippling unemployment, massive uncertainty and fear of the future that leads to even more voter dependency on socialized government solutions. Inevitably when such unsustainable solutions succumb to financial chaos, sufficient misery will exist to cause your society and more importantly, your unpaid military, to collapse. Without the ability to defend yourselves, America will have no will alternative but to accept international protections and debt forgiveness by the bankers, in return for surrendering national sovereignty to the new world order.

Like every over confident tyrant, I feel strangely compelled to offer you an ingenious solution to your dilemma. One which of course, you can not possible implement now that you’re so hopelessly ensnared in my evil trap. So listen carefully, you deluded democrats and republican peasants who voted for me, I intend to enjoy watching your slow agonizing torment at what was once possible.

As a solution you could fire the Federal Reserve, void the debt, devalue Federal Reserve Notes held overseas mostly by drug cartels, and immediately empower the U.S. Treasury to create debt free U.S. currency, quickly exchange it for Federal Reserve notes domestically and manage your new debt free U.S. currency in our own best interests, rather than the bankers. Will Congress allow this? Noooo… of course not!

So first it will be necessary to clean up Congress by repealing the 17th Amendment. You must immediately begin restoring each State’s Constitutional right to appoint Senators to Congress, immune from corruption. Then you will surely be able to solve just about every other political problem I’ve purposely created. Of course, the bankers and their indebted main stream media propagandists would never enable anyone to campaign for Congress that would reverse their treason. That’s no problem, stay with me, I went to Harvard.

Fortunately the Founding Fathers, in their great wisdom, provided an alternative whereby the States can unite and amend the Constitution without the consent of Congress! Wow, how cool is that?!! Now you know why most states have such amazing state capital buildings often closely resembling the awe inspiring grandeur of your U.S. Capital building in Washington. Remember, you don’t need everyone, most elections are decided by a small proportion of the population. All you need is just enough people unite to select and elect principled State Assembly members, genuinely sincere about respecting your will to repeal the 17th amendment.

On the State level you could easily do this with the Internet and more of those cool 8-28 gatherings. By the way, you guys really kicked our butts on that one! Just stay clear of manipulation by banks and main stream media and you’ve got it in the bag. Hey, prohibition was repealed and that was just about cocktails. This is your freedom we’re talking about here! You amazing people who conservatively sometimes prefer a tea party to booze, can quickly restore the Constitution if you really want to and save America.

But of course, I‘m betting it’s too late, Bwaahahaha!

I called BS on that one, too. We gave him and his admin a chance starting back in January of 2009 based on the thought that, “Well, he IS our president. Let’s see what he does.” All we’ve been met with since then is more and more defiance of our voices! He works for US! They ALL do, and we will send them a CLEAR message that this will not stand any longer! We will not be ignored any longer! And if they choose to ignore THAT, and abuse their lame duck session, we will F-ing REVOLT! WE HAVE HAD IT!

Broker, MLK and Gandhi got what they wanted. They won. Fighting fire with fire turns most people off, and you will never get enough numbers to actually make a difference if you turn that many people off. The best way to win is to contrast yourself with them. Then many who were on their side will see the difference. That’s how MLK and Gandhi won. They contrasted themselves. If you use the same tactics as they, you become them. Nothing gets achieved by becoming them.

When we aren’t civil then we are portrayed, and rightfully so, as crazies. We need to stand up for what we believe in, but how can we expect them to ever listen to us if we never give them the respect of listening to them. They are trying to egg us on to react because they know if we do, then they win. It’s the quick and easy/cowards way to just sit and scream, lets show by example.

We’ve stayed quiet, we’ve stayed polite, we’ve tried to play by the rules. Time to put Rules for Radicals and turn them on the Radicals and make them Rules for Saving the Country from Radicals.

If that means we have to be vocal and voice the truth, as long as we never stoop to violence like the Berkley Free Speech crowd, then its totally fine.

We have a right to a voice, we have a right to be heard, we have a right to save our Country and wake people up, words and the truth are our weapons, we must never use violence to get results, and as you can see from the video – the left have no problem being violent, we can’t resort to that, let the left be called violent, dangerous and they need to be locked up…

Then we can continue to exercise our right to free speech and speaking the truth.

Equating shouting with violence seems quite a stretch to me. Peaceful leaders, cited in other posts (Ghandi, MLK, et.al.), would also, by this quaint standard, be categorized as violent. Our founders, however, observed that peaceful avenues led nowhere, and felt their cause worthy of risking their “lives, liberty, and sacred honor”.

It has already been demonstrated that this administration heeds no “civil” voice of opposition. Quiet submission (sheepledom?) just doesn‘t seem to be this young man’s “cup of tea”.

Awakened One, I think if you Google Civil Disobedience with Gandhi and then with Martin Luther King, you will see that they both very much believed it “becomes a sacred duty when the state has become lawless or corrupt.” I think standing up at a student rally and speaking your 3-word sentence (that doesn‘t contain the word ’fire’) 3 or 4 times is pretty mild and does not deserve a criminal beat-down by the “Great One’s” followers (he should file charges). These socialists don’t understand folding your hands and politely shaking your head in disagreement. Did you hear the language they used on the student? Anyway, I personally won’t go down without a fight. I don’t want a bunch of “new GOP blood” getting elected and headin’ off to DC to just get along. I want sweeping reform. I want liberty restored, I want the IRS dismantled and the FED audited. I want the EPA stripped of their overreaching power, I want the Federal government to go about the business of national security as their primary/only function, NOT HEALTHCARE and I want the states to take back their powers and stop begging for money from the feds. I want the states to keep their money and quit sending it to DC ! I WANT NATIONAL GOVERNMENT OUT OF MY LIFE! It really doesn’t matter what kind of negative response anyone gives Obama. We’re still going to come out looking badly. If it is like this young person did, it will only lead to a beat down. If someone stood by silently with a sign that said “No more Obama,” the liberal media would still make the person out to be a radical conservative and the photos would be on every news channel. We have seen this at every Tea Party event, where only our side was present, so we should expect even more BS coverage for things like this lone protester. Being good because everyone expects us to be good is not enough. Remember back to June of 2008 when Obama said, If they bring a knife to the fight, we’ll bring a gun.” No matter how much violence the liberals sanction, it‘s alright with the media but it just doesn’t work that way for our side. And it really is getting to the point where I expect even more violent encounters with them and their union goons. After all, don’t forget the Black Panther intimidators at the polling place that have morphed into nothing more than quiet shadows by the DOJ and the liberal media.

But please, do not partake in any violence at this time. Let the movement have a chance to work. November is coming quickly!!! Let’s not blow it now!!

Happens all the time – the youth line up behind a “cult of personality” and just as quickly become disallusioned when they find out that the lies/promises that were made during the “dating” phase come out once the marriage is consumated – this is the central reason why the vast majority of youth who supported Obama 2 years ago no longer are involved or have respect for politicians. My son who was struggling to pay his monthly healthcare premiums just received notice that they will be increasing 40% in 2011 – his choice? choose between the car payment or healthcare – guess who will be without health insurnace in 90 days…thanks to the wisdom of our government leaders who are in bed with the healthcare industry….which is the new “millitary idustrial complex” that Ike warned about in his farewell speech – why do we not see that?

This student is not necessarily a Conservative.

Keep in mind that 0bama has alienated his far left whack job base by not closing Git Mo, not ending the war and bringing all the Troops home, not eliminating “don’t ask, don’t tell”, and a host of other radical leftist programs that they expected of him..

I’m as fiscally conservative as it comes and I despise this Presidents views and policies, HOWEVER we should not stoop to the level of liberals and we should always be truthful in our disagreements with the other side. I watched this video and I didn’t see anyone get “roughed up” it was a total exaggeration, that’s not honest and the Blaze needs to do better on its headlines to keep credibility. This is how MSNBC reports! Let’s keep it straightforward and open folks! But good for him calling a liar a liar!

I don’t “follow” Glenn Beck (nor any man for that matter) but I do agree with a majority of what he says, especially about non-violence and showing kindness, respect, and civility. Not that I feel violence and rudeness doesn‘t have it’s place sometimes but this (in my humble opinion) is not one of those times.

Yes the progressives have been “kicking” us for years while we’ve sat idly by allowing them too but who is to say that there is no other way stand up for ourselves and the truth without using violence and the kind of disrespect shown by the boy in the above news story?

Violence breeds violence and when I read some of these comments like broker0101 and major infidel’s, I become a little frightened that the progressives violence is pushing some people past their tolerance level and that nothing good will come of it. :o(

I agree no point in being sheep to the slaughter with out even a few words. This man is not even honest enough to use his own words, he only reads what others have penned for him.

My real concern is if you ran a pedophile, murder, dog butch and forester for good measure and put a democratic label on him he would get about 30+ percent of the vote does not matter to so many that live off others what kind of a person they are only that the gravy rolls on.

I have to agree with broker on this one. I have nothing but respect for Gandhi and MLK. But we have allowed passivity to rule the last 100 years. And sure Beck has a lot of this stuff right as far as the progressive agenda. Perhaps diplomacy and voting can change our direction. But we should be prepared for the worst. These people are-for now-the minority. But they are insidious. They are teaching our kids at all ages. They are in government. They are in key locations waiting for the right moment. And when the financial collapse comes-What will you do? They know what they will do. And who will retain control of the military? Will they attempt to disarm the citizens? the infrastructure has been built to deal with mass rebellion in this country. Would those people that they need to ‘deal’ with be us or them (The socialist elite)???

I think Broker0101 hit it on the head. It is time to stand up for what’s right. The progressives have slowly whittled away at our freedoms because we were civil (even though they weren’t). There’s nothing wrong with standing up for what you believe in. I think that’s how this country got started, isn’t it?
What is civil about czars running things (into the ground) in this great country. The only part of civil I want anything to do with is civil war on the people who are destroying this country. If it can be done peaceably, great. But it is time to fight fire with fire.
Who are you people trying to look civil for? Yourselves? That’s what got us to this point. Stand up and let them know, “We‘re mad as hell and we’re not gonna take it any more.”

May I presume then that you include Jesus Christ in your list? He too was assasinated and he also called for the being truthful but civil. While, I do not presume to speak for Him and I agree we need to be more vocal in our opposition, I think bringing up MLK and Ghandi are well within the bounds of the debate.

Frankly, everyone should spend more time encouraging like-minded neighbors and sympathetic people to vote this November.

Broker, I am so fed up with our freedom, money and way of life being stolen. I yell at the TV when I am at home listening to these LIARS and I am totally on edge about being one day away from losing our liberties. However, the truth will be evident to the people , and evil will ALWAYS be unmasked and laid out in the open for all to see. Remember, the majority is on our side and we need to hold the momentum! Do I like being silent? NO! However, being silent is not the same as being idle… there are ways to get the word out. Talk with people while in the line at the store, talk to neighbors, friends, send emails and post on other sites, etc. We can win this, but we need to do this collectively, peacefully ,SMART and with God’s directive. We’ll know when we need to step it up a bit.

Right. We fight with Marquis of Queensberry rules while they have a switchblade up their sleeve and brass knuckles in their back pocket. They kick our ass, or worse, but we feel really good ’cause we took the high road? We are not talking about taking them on a Bataan Death March, raping their woman, or executing prisoners. We’re talking about using all means available to defeat the enemy because of the devastating consequences to our families if we lose. I will feel much better that I protected my family than that I followed some “we’re better than that” policy and was defeated. I can guess your opinion on the US dropping the bomb on Japan, and “lying” to the Germans about where we were going to invade Europe. After all, we’re better than that, right?
