Rep. West Blasts Obama’s Immigration Policy: ‘The Last Time We Had This Was with King George III and We Didn’t Like It Too Much’

During an interview on “The Laura Ingraham Show,” Rep. Allen West (R-FL) argued that President Obama’s recent immigration announcement makes him look less like the leader of a government “of the people, by the people, for the people” and more like an imperial ruler.
“How does [the president’s announcement] comport with anything we’ve ever been considered or studied in law school about how the law applies across the board to all people?” host Ingraham asked.
“And then the president goes on and says ‘well, um, they’re Americans in every way except for a piece of paper. What about the idiots who went through the permanent residency program — for years? How do they feel today?” she added
“Well, they feel absolutely disrespected and disregarded,” Rep. West responded. “What country did we wake up in on Friday? It causes people to ask ‘where are we?’”
“You know, the last time we had this was with King George III and we didn’t like it too much. And I think that you’re seeing the resurrection of an imperial presidency and the arrogance thereof to think that you could come out and basically tell the American people that ‘this is what we’re going to do and pretty much — so don’t question me’ as he said to the gentleman from the Daily Caller,” Rep. West added.

I honestly dont see how Obama loses. I think Romney is a weaker candidate than McCain from due to at least McCain could say he was in the military.

I happened to have to look after my mom in Oz until she died and cause I was out of the country for more than a year, when I came back they treated my like I was planning to bomb the WH or something. Had to get a lawyer, and it cost me alot of time and over ten grand to get it back and after 3yrs of **** they denied me and had to appeal, then I was stuck here for 5 years and couldn’t go anywhere until it was resolved, and I was still married at the time to my husband of 18 yrs.
This sheet yanks my chain, I am going donald on this one and say, if you are approved for amensty you have to pay I would say 20 grand, help pay down the debt. take a loan I don’t care how you pay for it, this should not be for free.
And nearly a million illegals, I call BS, going to be tripple or quaduple that number for sure.

How funny, I also respect Snow and will often scroll to read his posts. Snow has been here as long as I have I rarely disagree with him. I will have to say there was a post in the last week that gave me chills. Sounded like Snow was throwing in the towel too.
