‘Youth Revolution!‘ Michael Moore Posts ’Best’ Student Protest Vids From MI Rally

Michael Moore wants you to know about some of the great things going on in Michigan, especially when it comes to the state’s students. On his YouTube channel, he’s posted some of the “best” protest videos taken at the Capitol during recent budget protests there. And the stars are the youth.

For example, there’s a video, which Moore dubs “the best,“ of students chanting ”Youth revolution!”

There’s also “Banks got bailed out, we got sold out!”

Or how about that great cult classic, “Solidarity forever! The union makes us strong!“ sung to the tune of ”Battle Hymn of the Republic:”

And who can forget the ever-popular “Show me what democracy looks like!”

And finally, a new one: “No cuts, no fees! Education should be free!”

    I wish Michael would buy an island, take his youth and free everything and show us how his Utopia works. Maybe he should be Mayor of Detroit and show us the great Socialist potential Detroit has.

    Side note, the banks sold us out? Why did they do that kiddies? Sub prime lending? Instituted by Frank and Dodd, Fannie, Freddie? How about tracing this back to Clinton and all the way back to Carter.

    I notice “progressives” always look for the quick fix or the band-aid fix. Why bother understanding a problem when you can just blame an easy target like the Koch bros?

    Looked at the “children” who think they are entitled to something for nothing. I give ‘em 10 years. They will either be disillusioned unemployed or on welfare. As a future employer, I may have taken a look at this stuff especially if the kid I am about to hire is from Wisconsin. Suddenly, a good candidate goes to the bottom of the pile. These young jerks don’t get the message that their actions can have long term consequences.

    M Moore concentrates his propaganda on the youth because they are no longer taught to stand for something by their parents. No moral fortitude, no social conscience, no understanding of our political process. If we don’t stand for something, we fall for anything. That lack of foundation for our youth could lead to a collapse of the system the hippies in the ‘60’s were hoping for, ala Fox, Piven, Ayres, etal.

      They have everything, except affordable higher education. I know, I looked at college and it was too expensive on my own. Someone shouldn’t have to join the military to pay for school.

      My older kids went to college and they didnt join the military. They PLANNED and WORKED!!!
      They saved all birthday , babysitting and summer job money through childhood.They were goal oriented and worked hard in school , applied for scholarships and I bought their books. If you work for what you want , it means so much more. It gives you pride in yourself. Its challenging. Anything worth having is hard. These dopes that are raised to believe you deserve a free ride from the government take life for granted and grow up to be PROGRESSIVES. Public school now is about test scores to receive more federal funds not about teaching morals, life skills and academics.

      Progressiveliberalmarine: My just turned 18yodd has been taking courses at community college for 2 years. The school district here pays for it until she graduates in June. We as homeschoolers had to pay for the books but still it has been a tremendous savings. Next year at this time she will have her AA and be able to go to a state school for reduced cost for the last 2 years. Oh, she has a job and does ballet 5-6 times a week. Easy? No. Worth it? Yes. If you want something bad enough, you’ll find a way. No one is entitiled to a college education.These students in MI need to study not waste their time being manipulated by Michael Moore.

    Chanting, drumming and anything associated with Michael Moore are poor methods of protesting and are just substitutes for having a message.

    I disregard anybody at a protest with a drum qhile stoned out of their mind.

    I ignore sign carrying chanters as ignorant special interest hired ideological robots

    I tend to respect anybody that has an informed, insightful perspective that may be different than my own as long as they respect my right to have a different and equally insightful perspective

    I will however push, shove, punch, pummel, and assault any union thug that decides that their protesting is defined by pushing, shoving, punching or pummeling me while I peacefully demonstrate against them.

    Michael Moore somehow seems to have the good sense not to push, shove, punch or pummel his political opponants in person. One look at him will explain why.

    You have to be careful when you are fat AND mouthy.

      I once thought I was a progressive when I was a student. It was the “in” thing to be. But then I went into the world and found I was full of crap. My thinking was full of crap. I repented and found myself in a REPUBLIC that rewards hard work and integrity.       During grocery shopping yesterday, 6yr daughter lamented that she wishes everything in the world was free. ?!?! I was taken back – couldn’t believe that I had to explain (again) that by working hard, you EARN the money to buy the things you need and want.

      Talk about expoitation, students have very little knowledge of the system to which they are partaking in. They were told to be there, told what to say, and told how to say it. I went through this crap in the early 90′s during the war protests and kids were led around like sheep since none of them knew the whole story. You get a select few that took an extra 5 minutes to read a slanted article and then they do what they do best….rebel! All kids think it is cool to snub their nose at authority from time to time as they feel this is their right and evolution to adulthood. Let’s see, protest and be on tv or hang out at Sonic tonight….hmmm, what’s cooler? I can post my coolness on Facebook tonight since I am so informed and “making a difference”.

      Moore is grasping at straws to include that douchebag Steven King. Since Moore has no backing from the informed, let’s go ahead and setup the youth to bellow out a message of ignorance.       People of Michigan need to wake up. The welfare and programs they promise that they knew would fail. Now you want reform but not if its on you. I left Michigan in feb 09 because of this crap. Because I knew the unions where out of control and welfare also.
      Now you have a chance to fix it and you are crying. We all got hurt up there. At least some of us was smart and moved out of that state. You people need to look at Texas and how things are here. Good paying jobs and no union control. I make 22.00 hr with health care and 401k.       muuuaaaaaaaaahahahahahahahaha! all of the communist cockroaches are coming out of the cracks and holes; yes, products our liberal halls of academia in AmeriKa today, what fine specimins of anrchists and misfits they are, it is sad how misguided they are, their dreams will soon enough become their worst nightmare – loss of freedoms. But hey, i’m guessing when it comes down to it, nada, they will be back to playing video games and BBall soon enough, once the revolution passion [party] wears off. good thing, as they are the future of our country ya know!       Hmm. Let me see, if it was “free” then the teachers would be owed no money, no pension, and no health care. But last time I checked El Fatso, it isn’t FREE, it is paid for with TAX PAYER MONEY!!!

      One can olny hope that Mr. Moore finds the socialist paradise he longs for. With his demonstrated ability to incite people to rebel, he will be one of the first that a true socialist government will do away with. I would be glad to assist the government in this task!
