Zuhdi Jasser Discusses NYPD Surveillance Program and Support From a Silent Majority of Muslim-Americans

Dr. Zuhdi Jasser, founder and president of the American Islamic Forum for Democracy, appeared on Fox and Friends Saturday to discuss the support from “a silent majority” of Muslim-Americans for security measures like the controversial NYPD surveillance program of Muslims, covered by the Associated Press and The New York Times last month. Dr. Jasser has spoken recently at events organized by Muslim-Americans supporting the NYPD surveillance program. Dr. Jasser told Fox News over the weekend that the coverage of the issue has been one-sided only acknowledging Muslims who criticize the NYPD. The AIFD founder said the program is not anti-Muslim but rather “good police work.”
Dr. Jasser added that the incomplete media coverage “feeds into radicalization, feeds into the al-Qaeda narrative,” and said he is not surprised that the ordeal damaged relations with the “Council on American-Islamic Relations and other apologists for Islamism.”
“Remember this an ideology that is political, but it uses religion as a cover,” said Dr. Jasser. “Some of these groups are part of that theo-political movement.”
“I think its time for America to realize that we’re not a monolithic community,” Dr. Jasser went on to say. “They can‘t speak about us as ’all Muslims are offended.’”

He seems consistant, peaceful, and one of the ‘sought for’ voices of a Muslim, who is against Islam radical terrorists. After WW2, denazification took 5 years. It was only when the German people came out in the streets against the few Nazis that were left. They were tired of war and embarrassed what the Nazi Party actually was. We need more peaceful Muslims to get rid of the terrorists. Jasser has alot of guts. I hope they come out in larger amounts renouncing Hamas, etc, etc, and turn in the cowardly terrorist murderering thugs.

He is a muslim engaged in Jihad who seeks hudna. He spews the same vile lies and deceptions that all muslims do.
There is no silent majority of muslims who desire to be scrutinized by the non-muslims. He is expressing what the muslims want to do to us. They want Sharia and this is way to get the non-muslims to accept it. By presenting aspects of Sharia as our own laws!
Stop being fooled by these muslims! Wake up!
It is not even hard to pick apart their deceptions once you know what their goal is.

Don’t trust them, just because we are BLESSED to live in a time and place, historically rare and precious, where they don’t have unlimited power to do what they wish to dissenters unopposed by the public authority, doesn‘t mean they WOULDN’T if they COULD, and it doesn‘t mean they WON’T try to return us to that state of affairs.
No one should be FORCED to disbelieve, anymore than they should be FORCED to believe, but that DOESN’T mean these choices are equally INTELLIGENT or RESPONSIBLE choices. Don’t just ACCEPT authority, no matter WHO the authority claims to represent–every appeal to authority is a fallacy, even an appeal to God’s authority. For either God has GOOD independent reasons for holding what is good as such, or his dictates are arbitrary, and therefore undeserving our respect.
