  • Romney lost the Presidency at the RNC Convention for three bad and arrogant decisions.

1.) By the new rules he pushed through which effectively disenfranchised the grassroots delegates.

2.) By the feud he purposely and foolishly picked with Sarah Palin and by extension her supporters. This was a totally needless and arrogant feud and fight that he didn’t need to pick.

3.) He also foolishly thought he didn’t need to pander to his base and that they would just obediently fall in line in the end. His words!

He committed all three of those unforced errors at the Convention. The reason for the Convention, by the way, is supposed to bring the party together, not divide it.

Well guess what? To many of the base unfortunately told him where he could go.

The GOPe needs to learn that lesson for future reference. You don’t win elections without your conservative base!

  • You mean insane Americans. This man bleeds Red White and Blue. But someone of your caliber would not understand that, would you? Someone like you that would speak out against a man like West has never been in the military. You have absolutely no clue what honor is.

  • I grew up in a home that had numerous guns and they were never locked up. Sure they were in a gun case and unloaded but the the bullets were right there in the case.

My point is this, from the time we could crawl we were instructed never to touch the guns while at the same time instructed in proper respect and gun handling. We were never allowed to take a gun anywhere without Dad’s supervision, and we never did. But then again that was in the days when parents spanked their children and there was never any doubt you would get your **** whipped if you touched one of those guns without Dad’s permission.

The biggest problem in today’s society is that people want to treat the gun as evil and parents are reneging on their responsibility to teach their children on gun safety because they don’t have them in their home. So they’re trying to force everyone else to take the blame for their negligence.

And keep this in mind. More children die every year from drowning in swimming pools or auto accidents than from accidental shootings.

  • To show how far we have descended in our nation and culture with our moral values, I remember when Elvis Presley was only shown on The Ed Sullivan Show from the waist up.

Does anyone really think we are better off with where we are?
