Non Muslims do not understand..this has nothing to do with her trying to make a statement or trying to change the rules just for her. Asking her to take off her hijab is like asking someone not to wear pants or a shirt...it's just something you don't do. It's a violation of freedom of religion telling her she can't wear the hijab--it's akin to someone telling a Christian they can't read the Bible! And this is NOT the military, this is JRTOC. It's CITIZENSHIP program, not a military program. She's 14 for heaven's sake!
