  Just a word of caution for parents with younger children out there who are considering private or private Christian schools: Please don’t completely trust the school you choose for your child without watching like a hawk. The “raping of innocence” experience happened at our daughter’s former school (Episcopal). I cannot repeat here some of the things my daughter heard and saw in the class room. One new teacher (from a very liberal part of the country) was a very sick individual and after speaking with the headmaster of the school about the issues going on in the classroom, the headmaster sided with the sicko teacher only because not many others complained. Needless to say we pulled our daughter out of the school. Home school worked for us.

  you used the words “curious comments” describing Rep. Rick Womick’s statements. Do you live in a parallel universe in which Islam is a peaceful religion? Does it puzzle you as to why he would make these comments? Are you in a quandry? Are you utterly mystified as to why anyone who has been conscious for the past, say, 10 to 15 years might question the religion of Islam?
