  • It’ll never happen – not in a million years. But . . .

. . . what if he WAS impeached. So? Ask Billy-Bob Clinton if it hurt him? His response was, “Don’t worry. It’ll blow over.” (Blow – pun intended.) That was his MO from the beginning and how the dems look at everything – i.e. “It was a long time ago!”

  • (Just speaking for myself) but I haven’t listened to Rush since the election. I know of other Dittoheads that tuned him off too. BUT it has NOTHING to do with Rush.

I’ve been a Rush addict since 1990 and generally a political news junky. I lived and breathed political news. It was my LIFE. But no more. After the November election I completely went cold turkey on talk radio, including Rush, and haven’t turned on the radio since. It wasn’t anything he said that caused me to turn off the radio. It is because the last election proved that a political paradigm shift had taken place within the country. The election taught me that it doesn’t matter: the money; hard work; and dedication of millions of Tea Party patriots was ALL in vain. The Constitutional Conservatives no longer have a voice or a party that represents the John Wayne/John Ford or “The Andy Griffith Show” idea of the American way of life. It was a hell of a lesson to learn and a real shocker.

In the end, life is too short. After the election, I turned off the “glass teet”, and talk radio, and began to learn to live again. I do check in with Drudge and TheBlaze periodically but that’s it. No more obsessing about what new unconstitutional law the Dems or Rino Republican hacks have passed. For better (which I doubt) or for worse, a shift has taken place. America and the Constitution is but a ghost in the bone yard of human history. And there’s nothing you, I – or Rush Limbaugh – can do, to save it.

  • Greg’s passion proves what most of America already knows – and what Carrey apparently does not: that Americans are passionate about their guns. Indeed, firearms is a lightening rod issue. Carrey has just marginalized and condescended to a LARGE portion of the American populous. Moreover, those associated (at any level) with the world of firearms will never forget what Mr. Jim Carrey has done. Not smart. However . . .

I have worked in the film business. The Farrelly boys (directors of Dumb and Dumber To); Jared Hess (director of Loomis Fargo); and Jeff Wadlow (director of Kick-A** 2) are literally CRINGING. The repercussions of Carrey’s stupidity may not be tallied for years to come. Throughout the film industry anyone tied to Carrey’s films – directors to grips – are in trouble. And they know it. Even Spielberg was unable to save War of the Worlds after Tom Cruise took off after Brooke Shields. Hollywood cares about MONEY. Carrey is associated with several films that are in preproduction. He just cost them bundles.

In the end, this blithering idiot has cost the studios not millions but BILLIONS of dollars in loss revenue. His career will never be the same.

  • Sorry, ROSCOE, but you don’t know what you’re talking about. I’ve worked in the film biz. Believe me when I say the Farrelly boys (directors of Dumb and Dumber To); Jared Hess (director of Loomis Fargo); and Jeff Wadlow (director of Kick-A** 2) are CRINGING. Throughout the film industry – ranging from directors to grips – the repercussions of such stupidity may not be tallied for years to come. Even Spielberg wasn’t able to save War of the Worlds after Cruise’s arrogant mishap. Hollywood cares about MONEY. And Carrey just cost them bundles.

In the end, the gaping mouth of this blithering idiot has cost them and the studios . . . not in the MILLIONS but BILLIONS of dollars in loss revenue. His career will never be the same.

  • I agree.

  • @NAPARI and @CRAZYOTTO – You guys are right on the money. I am sick of Rove. If he was so brilliant his boss would not have had such a disastrous second term, with an approval rating in the low thirty percent range (if not lower). His idea of a “response” was “no-response” – for eight long years. Rove was a disaster then, and he is a disaster now. His desire is to collapse the Anti-Federalist movement – period.

  • I agree. Waste of time. For the Kim Kardashian crowd.

  • The national debate over the “need” or desire of a citizen owning an AR-15 is a complete waste of time and energy. What we are witnessing is a classic slight of hand by the MSM, to focus on one type of firearm while hiding their true goal – total disarmament. The AR-15 platform is not the subject. The original intent of the Founder’s draft of the Second Amendment is the issue.

Ultimately the attempts by the Marxist Left to outlaw/ban firearms and ammunition WILL succeed, and they know it. It is only a matter of time. The vast majority of The People are uneducated or misguided sheep that care only about Kim Kardashian. Furthermore, (with few exceptions) the elected Republicans, controlled by The Establishment in Washington, are full blown cowards. Preserve the Constitution? Sorry. No help from that quarter; we are no longer a representative republic. That leaves the Judicial. The true Constitutional patriots residing there are few in number and the last bastion of Law and oversight. But sadly (as we have seen with Obama Care) they can no longer be trusted to follow the law, and are apparently swayed simply by public policy and what Brian Williams thinks. We as patriots can prolong America’s demise but not prevent it from happening. It is a sad, and very slow death.

“Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?”

  • I do not wish to be cynical but . . . I learned much with the last election. Unfortunately the defeat of the Tea Party during the last election (and it was a defeat, Folks) proves that these pro gun rallies do not matter in the least. Ultimately it is a waste of time. Why? Because the Liberal Trash in Washington are lawless. There is no law. Nor are we a nation of laws. Barry will do whatever he wants. Dictators always do. There is not anything anyone can do about it. In the end it will come down to the sheriff of each individual county in the nation as to whether the lawless will have their way.
