  I’m sorry but I don’t see this choice as humble or frugal. It seems more foolish and thoughtless. How does a man holding such a position as Pope able to have the opportunity for reflection, prayer and discernment in this type of living arrangement? How about his security detail? How will they do their job without imposing severely upon the other tenants living there? This is similar to the claims of his humbleness with regards to the red shoes. The red shoes represent the blood of the martyrs. I only knew one man in my lifetime who wore red shoes (besides the Pope(s)). We teased him incessantly that he was a wannabe pimp and for that matter he did use illegal substances on a regular basis. It takes far more humility for a man to wear red shoes than it does to wear the old black ones. This Pope seems to lack the respect for this office that it deserves. Somethings, whether you appreciate or like them, carry far more symbolism and importance than one mans opinion of them. The way the MSM is lapdogging this Pope should be a red flag to all. I sincerely hope and pray that my gut here is wrong…I am Catholic and proud of it…but the **** is standing up on the back of my neck for the past week. Please keep your eyes wide open. I’m not so sure we are going to appreciate all this “hope and change” we hearing about. Sounds like an instant replay of a bad movie we’ve been watching lately.

  Vern’s signs bring a smile to my face every time I drive by them. They are in the middle of a field well off the highway that goes by. If his trailer had the name of a beer or snack cakes on the side no one would have a problem…why is his opinion/definitions any different than all the garbage written all over every other semi trailer on the road? Someone doesn’t like the message??? Well guess what, I don’t like the messages I see with swear words on bumper stickers for my children to read…or the billboards with half-naked people on them…or rolling beer commercials…at least Vern’s trailers are teaching something worth learning.

  What is wrong is that this person is not allowed to have an opinion without the world jumping down all over him. If someone wants to have a community of only whites/blacks/purples/polka-dots, why can’t they? Isn’t that true freedom? Isn’t that what he is saying? Let local communities decide for themselves. Certainly it would be an issue for state/federal government if passing through someone were harmed. I want to live in a country where I can choose for my family that which I believe to be best. I personally don’t believe it “best” to be segregated. I believe we are all creations of God and I love how incredibly creative God is in our colors, shapes and sizes, gifts and talents. I prefer to embrace those creative differences. Having said that, I really don’t want to hang with someone who gets all hung up on another person’s color, big nose or abilities. I really would prefer they have their own private little community. They will be happier and so will I. Why not let them have their little corner of the world and let me have mine?

  Prophecy is not just for the Old Testament…God speaks to us today through prophets. The world laughs at them today just as they have for time memorial. We will wait and see what Pope Francis will bring to us. Be wary if the MSM likes him.   This is just another tool to be used to degrade and poke fun of Americans who are tired of government gone wild. Let’s minimize and marginalize, take the position of the Tea Party to the extreme so that we can make people embarassed to admit they believe in the values of the Tea Party. No different than what main stream media did by casting the Tea Party as rascist and violent extremist. Those who have been to a Tea Party gathering know how untrue this typecast is. Unfortunately, those who share the values of the Tea Party but have never participated in an event, begin to buy in that the Tea Party is a fringe group. Divide and conquer. Just because the founders of WWE are Republican does not make them Tea Partiers! We use to say, someone didn’t leave the Democrat party, the Democrat party left them. Now we can say the same about the Republicans. The Republican party is pretty much the right wing of the Democrat party…they are one in the same. The Tea Party is a whole new animal in its infancy. This is just another “bully” beating up the little kid down the street. Well guess what, the little kid is someday going to grow up and teach the bullies to clean up their act.

  I had to run for the vomit bucket. The video was disgusting. I felt like I was watching the devil himself and a XXX video to boot.

  Regarding the issue of abortion…it was, is and always will be wrong. A vicious crime against an innocent child.

  I fear there is no hope for America when I watch video’s like this. I fear there is no hope for the world when the worldometer on 1/23/2013 counter is already at 2,641,500 and counting of abortions so far this year globally.

  Get ready, God is about to shake some sense into us all. Lord have mercy on us.
