Let’s not gag on a gnat here…bad manners? oversight? ignorance? Maybe yes to all three. He’s just a man and he’s going to screw up with protocol from time to time. I’d rather pay more attention to him dismantling the Constitution and creating an environment of tyranny in this country. That is a camel I cannot swallow.

She apologized and rightly said she was “beyond sorry”. I bet she was appalled when she realized many of the victims were children. I feel sorry for her…tweeting is so forever. “Whoever would foster love covers over and offense…” Proverbs 17:9. I don’t know this woman but to publicly humiliate oneself seems punishment enough. No need to make her feel worse.

“This is about whether we as a society…have a right to impinge on individual freedoms in order to advance a common good”. Problem: YOUR “common good” and MY “common good” may have completely different definitions Ms. Perry. I’ll tell you what…give me your address and I’ll come get your kids and take them to my church tomorrow. One of us will be happy. (But that’s not exactly freedom, is it?)

@Kerstile, thank you for your post…NOGODNOJESUS removed his post but not before I read his mocking of God in this situation.
@NOGODNOJESUS; The God who reveals Himself through the scriptures is a God of LIFE. But we live in a sick and dying world and God’s people are not spared from the evils that prevail between Jesus’ first coming and His second coming. The evidence of the enemy, Satan, is more obvious as Holy Week approaches. “The thief (Satan) comes only to steal and kill and destroy…” This horrific crime reminds those who know God that the last days are approaching as evidence of people being abusive, ungrateful, unholy, brutal, rash and treacherous increase in frequency and intensity.
Also, do not confuse what the Bible REPORTS verses what it ENDORSES.
