We are going have to consider making “fat” and “ugly” protected classes. “Retards” are protected but they still are disparaged in common conversation. This disregard and ostracism of fellow human beings is a sign of the times. “Mean girls” have now become mean adults. And all the beauty in the world won’t cover the ugliness of meaness. The last shall be first. The meek & lowly shall inherit the earth.
So pray for those who persecute you. I wouldn’t wish their final judgement on my worst enemy. Really. Pray for those hard hearts.

This high school dropout potty mouth needs our prayers. It’s not too late for her. She thinks she has sold out to the devil & there’s no turning back. But her time is not up and her sin has been paid for in full. She needs to accept the redemption. Not too late for her.

The headline does not reflect the facts stated in the article: the son had previously been vandalizing the house as he was in the process of moving out AND the father’s wife (presumably not the son’s mother) was found inside the house with multiple stab wounds.

I wouldn’t treat a dog like this. Animal welfare laws would not allow this. I would have been hysterical if removed from my home at 6 years old.

I would rather they be clueless than celebrate Easter bunnies. More importantly , Easter is the counterfeit of Passover. The Last Supper was a Passover meal.

I also voted for Jimmy Carter. As an unbeliever at the time I still felt a man who fears a god looking over his shoulder is more to be trusted than one who does not fear. But as an unbeliever I had no discernment to weigh the whole man. Cruz is a man of substance who will adhere to godly principle and the constitution. So far, he has not been bought or co-opted. It appears that Rubio has been one or both. Trump is following the same charismatic path that both Obama and Hitler took to power. A cult following is personality & rhetoric over principle & rule of law.

The Bible refers to believers or Christians very few times. And in fact, when directly addressing us, most often refers to us as “those who believe”. A verb, not a noun. Also as “those who love His appearing”. Another verb. We are not card carrying “believers”. Once a believer, always believer- not so much. We may be a church member or church attender but that is not the same as believing, following, trusting on a continual and daily basis.
Like Santorum, Palin has been listening to the Trogan horses sent to co-opt the conservative agenda. Easy to lose your way.

Pro amnesty Rubio is not elevated by a Santorum endorsement. But Santorum is definitely losing standing by endorsing Rubio. His obvious choice should have been Cruz. Better gridlock in congress than more progressive agendas. Another soul lost to the beltway.

I just want a president who shows up at the Oval Office every day & does The Job. And stays out of the news most days. I am sick to death of the president’s name being the headline every day. Nice to one story where O was not mentioned.
It would have been nicer had he been left out of the comments as well...

In clear violation of conscience. Next doctors will be required to perform abortions and euthanasia. If religious conviction is not protected in these cases, then conscientious objectors to war and capital punishment also have no foundation. And if not to these instances, then to what would be the definition of conscientious objection?

Even Glenn Beck said he couldn’t trust himself to stay true if he went into politics. They will get to you one way or another. Do her a favor & vote her out now.

An older friend (passed away now) had an excellent book on a pack of rat terriers owned by a teacher in England who hunted with his dogs at local farms as a courtesy. The first few hunts with these tiny dogs (some smaller than the biggest rats) would get badly cut & swollen. But they soon became immune and very efficient in the kill. In the hen houses the dogs learned not to touch or disturb the birds. Impressive little hunters.

Perhaps NYC should add some possums, raccoons & skunks to diversify the wildlife experience in the City. Just sayin’.

Australia has a similar problem. Open water tanks for livestock has provided a water source for kangaroos & parrots in the outback which have multiplied to astounding pest proportions. Without addressing the food & water source issues in NYC, there will be no rat abatement.
Millions of people make millions of pounds of food waste. Rats are opportunistic creatures who can live pretty much anywhere humans can. They have been a pest since humans enjoyed the agricultural revolution. Food storage went fm woven baskets that rodents can chew right thru to pottery which is how archaeologists date a site.
Worse than competing for food, rats carry fleas which carry yesina pestis, the plague. Rats are always open season!

Miniature Dachshunds are excellent varmint killers too.
As are full sized ones.
When dealing w/wharf rats, you need a larger dog. The alley rats can be dealt w/by the smaller predators.
Wait until PETA finds out that foxes are in the city doing pretty much the same thing, or coyotes in the city LOL If you don't control the rodents, nature will invite larger predators to do the job.
I had a cat when I was a kid who loooooved rabbits. As a result, the gardens around were not eaten before harvest. Folks loved Charlie Whiskers.
