  If this shirt is racist and offensive (and it is), then what is the “African Americans for Obama” project run out of the Obama re-election campaign?

  Identifying for or against a candidate because of race is racist, regardless of the color. Blacks don’t get a pass on this one.

  So the short version is this: because two liberal researchers can’t (or won’t) find a link between stand-your-ground and concealed carry laws and a reduction in crime, I’m supposed to be stripped defenseless?

  Frankly, I don’t much care if my right to defend myself against violent crime doesn’t cause a statistically significant reduction in that same violent crime. The only statistic I’m interested in is not become one.

  Why would anyone think that “equal justice” applies to this situation? Wake up, we’re in a war here, and the progressive left doesn’t play by any rules. They play to win, whatever it takes, and fairness, justice, and common decency are not part of their culture or rules of engagement.

  When your opponent will stop at nothing to win, and to destroy you in the process, what are you going to do?

  And if gas does get to $10 per gallon, who should we be blaming: this mayor who is exercising some real-world fiscal sanity, or Obama, who is more than a little responsible for the $10 per gallon gas prices to begin with. Remember, he’s the one who said before the 2008 election that, under his policies, energy prices would “skyrocket”. That promise is one of the very few that he’s fulfilled.

  Typical progressive playbook: create the crisis, and then blame others for the problem. As Rahm said, never let a good crisis go to waste. And never forget the second part of that practice: if you don’t have a good crisis, create one.
