Desert, put down the BONG! If everyone that felt like you got together with everyone that decided it won’t make a difference, and all voted for a candidate that you all chose, you would win a lot of elections. Stop B!TCHING and start organizing. If you didn’t actually make an effort to make change, you have no right to complain. Voting is a small and final step in a large process. Did you get in and get your hands dirty to further your views in the early part of the process? If not, you’re a whiny little *****.

Anti-Prog, your statement about ‘back alley’ abortions is unfounded. There are actually more of them with abortion being legal than there were before Roe v Wade. So much for legal abortion making conditions safer. All it has done is make abortion more common.

Verce, your statement is untrue. Slavery had its day in court and won as well. Just Google Dred Scott, and you’ll see that the Supreme Court got slavery wrong. So by your own logic, abortion has no standing.

Because statistics are only kept for crime. No govt. agency spends any money to keep track of how much crime is stopped by citizens. If you read the FBI homicide stats, you will see a fine print disclaimer stating the LEO, and justified homicide are included in the total, but they never separate the numbers to give an idea how many there are.

That is exactly what I’ve been told to do by my CCW instructor, and several lawyers. Doing otherwise may actually cause you to be prosecuted for justifiable self defense.
