  Silly libs expect law abiding Americans to give up their supposed “weapons of war” when the dysfunctional”justice” system is incapable of preventing these monsters from roaming our streets and even apparently driving our children to school. The police spend more time now on PC BS than basic LE. If your counting in them to save your life, good luck!   The easy money is this deranged individual had a mental health history that should have been prevented by fixing NICS, as pointed out in the Grassley-Cruz amendment and far less likely would have purchased face to face (the supposed Gun Show Loophole…even though the vast majority of guns at gun show sell through ffl dealers but facts don’t matter) as would have been made illegal by Toomey-Manchin?

  Speaking of mentally ill, why have we not heard more about the LA guy living in his basement who went on the shooting spree when the arranged marriage date night went bad? Or the LA Cop Cop Killer who doesn’t even deserve to have his name mentioned again? Could it be these don’t fit the Leftist narrative and everyone else has too much “respect” for the dead?

The bill that addresses the core issue of mental health is being ignored by the liberal media like its connected to he Gosnell trial and it was Grassley-Cruz but addressing this issue DOESN’T help their agenda.   Many of the buyback guns are in fact stolen and are taken in “No questions asked” so the perp gets a gift card and goes out to steal another (as you observed) so this instead puts weapons into the hands of responsible law abiding gunowners and keeps the taxpayers from footing the bill for another misguided liberal progressive program.

  I think it was more likely a simple calculus of American lives balanced against the imminent election. It was too close to risk a Desert One/Blackhawk Down and I would bet if UBL hadn’t been pinpointed until this timeframe there wouldn’t have been a GO order for it either. Every decision is ultimately concerned with Him (i.e. The Dear Leader) first and foremost. This was a conscious Dereliction of Duty.
