  You really should be more informed before you start slamming people based on your personal experiences and bias.
  Im SO glad that you have had opportunity to rent from landlords like us before. We clean, paint, mow, and trim getting things pretty and clean. We NEVER rent out a house that we wouldn’t live in, or have our family live in. We stock the bathroom with tissue and soap. The washer and dryer come with soap, bleach, and fabric softener sheets. The kitchen has paper towels, soap, scrubbie sponges, and bottles of water in the refrigerator.
  Im glad that your landlord also drug tested you, to protect the nice neighbors.
  Im further happy that when you asked for them to lower your rent because it was $50 too high, that they did that for you.
  Greed has nothing to do with our rentals.
  But it sounds like you have NOT actually rented from someone like us.
  You need to choose your landlords, and your comments, more carefully.

  We don’t have the house listed on a Section 8 LIst. There is no such list here. We were asked by the prospective cute couple, and her mother, if we would accept their HUD voucher. We require drug screens in order to rent from us, done at the local hospital lab and they have to pay for it. I called all of their references…. The fact is that people lie.

  We don’t have the house listed on a Section 8 LIst. There is no such list here. We were asked by the prospective cute couple, and her mother, if we would accept their HUD voucher. We were further asked to reduce the rent by $50 so they would qualify for the house. We did because we are nice like that. Now that they are gone, so is any reference to our house at HUD. If another couple would ever want to use a HUD voucher, the house has to be approved and inspected all over again.

  We have rental property in a low income part of town. Our latest renters, who just moved out and left damages and mess beyond your imagination, had TWO of those free phones. The couple lied about being “together” so they could each get one. (They also lied to us, saying that they WERE married, when they applied to rent)
  These swindlers, and their three children under the age of 4, received from Washington State and the Federal Government the following:
  Free COMPLETE Medical, including ambulance rides, surgery, and routine care.
  Free Prescriptions
  Free Dental
  Section 8 Housing (HUD) for 86% of their rent.
  Food Stamps (EBT)
  Electricity bill help locally
  Gas vouchers
  Free Head Start (preschool)
  and when their kids are old enough they will get free college.

  They were so far the most rude, inconsiderate, and deceitful people we have ever rented to. And I have to add that the guy never worked but she worked part-time.

  We get NO help. Working hard is apparently not how one is rewarded in this country anymore! And don’t any of you rude posters here start saying that we are rich. We live paycheck to paycheck.

  How sad and true is your post. I apologize for I too have been guilty of some of what you write about. There are not any perfect Christians. It is awful that the Christians you have come in contact with have not behaved as they should. Let all Christians who read on this site be aware that your actions and words matter in the lives of others.

  I agree! And thank you for making me chuckle… it took me a minute to figure out what POS was….. Bwahahaha!!!!
  Oh, and we only have internet, no TV… if I want to hear his voice I have to click on something that makes him talk…. reading the news is much more peaceful. Just an idea for you… we haven’t had TV in 2 years.

  I promise that starting today i will strive to work less, make less money, pay less taxes, and thus NOT be supporting the presidents plan to redistribute wealth. If he is willing to give things away and the American people are in agreement… then I am getting in line to get my fair share. Hard work in America gets us no where…. but my renters pay half their rent while my tax dollars pay the other half. My renters get free cell phones while mine are full price. My renters get food stamps while my grocery bill has gone up. My renters get absolutely free 100% paid medical while my surgery this year cost me 6000.00 out of pocket. AND i just got a phone call that they cant pay their rent this month…. guess who is getting evicted! Im tired of paying bills for people who refuse to work and continue to pro-create. Maybe I walk away from the house we live in and go move into the rental after we evict them….. then we can be like them… just like Obummer wants.
