  Is it time to bust the happy bubble?

  These Lie Witness News pieces are staged. It’s not that the folks interviewed are actors or told what to say, they are just produced to go along with what ever the interviewer is going to ask them.

  Example:

  Producer: Hi.

  Person: Hi.

  Producer: Would you be willing to answer some questions for us on camera for the Jimmy Kimmel Live show?

  Person: Sure.

  Producer: Ok great! So here’s how it works. Our interviewer will ask you your opinion on something. Just give an honest answer. Sometimes her question will sound pretty ridiculous. Like, what do you think of the First Lady debate between Michelle Obama and Ann Romney? Now,that didn’t really happen but imagine if it did! So just give an honest answer as if it was true. And don’t worry if you mess up, we can always edit it. It’s gonna be fun right?!

  Person: Yeah, so cool!

  And that, my friends… is TV.

  Gerhart admitted at a news conference at the Capitol last week that he sent the email.
  “Political pain and embarrassment will be necessary if the citizens expect to regain control of this Senate down here from the state chamber of commerce and special interests,” he said. “The time for ‘nice’ behavior is over with.”

  I’m sorry I have to disagree with the timing of this great piece. Raj, Liberty Treehouse and TheBlaze have missed an excellent opportunity to help restore the culture and actually celebrate what today’s federal holiday is actually celebrating.

  You see, the third Monday of February is observed and celebrated as George Washington’s Birthday.

  Today is not supposed to be about all U.S. Presidents. I know that the mainstream culture has now defined today as President’s Day (or Presidents Day – no one is really sure), but all that does is diminish the respect the George Washington has earned for his unmatched contributions and sacrifices for the founding of this great country.

  I wish Raj would have used today to help destroy the myth that today is a day to remember all U.S. Presidents. Remember, this nation is one of The People, not a King or Dictator. Treating this day as one to celebrate a public-servant – even one as powerful and ultimate as President of The United States – is not American. We do not celebrate Government, we celebrate incredible people and individuals.

  What would be the response if Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.s Birthday started to be referred to as Civil Rights Leaders Day?
