  I agree. Knights Hospitaller have gotten the back seat in the crusades talks because of the Templars being featured in novels and movies but the Hospitallers were some rough dudes.

  To those of you against the idea, I say it’s a smart move for the RNC. It’s best to have a collection of voices in your staff and not a bunch of yes men. Isn’t that the best way to come to a sound judgement is to take in opinons of most of the main points of view out there to make the right choice?

  Let the Russians go ahead. It isn’t hurting us. They can police the world, we can bring our troops home from all of our overseas bases, and use our military to defend our homeland. I for one don’t really care to give my life so some Arab/Persian/Pashtun warlord can overthrow another warlord under the false guise of “Nation Building” or “Spreading Democracy.”

  It’s great. You see some white people throwing down and the comments are light hearted. Had it been two blacks, half the people that post here would start talking about how they’re animals, and whatnot. I’m not a race baiter but the racism of the members of this site is unbelievable.

  So now what? We’re all in agreement here. If petitions don’t work, what do we do? If our elected officials seek nothing but dominance over us rather than making decisions that reflect their constituent’s will, what do we do? I hate to be the rain on anyone’s parade, but sitting back and complaining does nothing. Does anyone have any suggestions (please, I can think of one but I don’t think it’s quite come to that) that could actually work with the morons running this country and the morons voting for them because the media (liberal and conservatives alike) tells them who to vote for?

  You can’t put all blacks in the same category, man. I’m half black. My dad’s black and I can trace the black side of my line to a freed slave. You look back and for the most part (every family has those few that we don’t like to talk about) we have been productive members of society. From serving in the battle of San Juan Hill, to Vietnam, to OIF and OEF. No arrests. No acting like a damned fool. Paying taxes. Treating women right. Settling disputes with words rather than fists with the exception of self defense, and even then only to win a fight. No drug abuse. No gang affiliation. These guys here are acting like animals but to label an entire race as savages is absolutely offensive to me and my entire family. Youth in inner cities behave like this, regardless of race. Whites, blacks, hispanics, asians…it’s an inner city thing, not a race thing.

  I would be cool with it if it wasn’t ROTC. If she was with some other group, it would be fine. But as a Marine, I can say that rules are rules. There are uniform orders in place. To toss the uniform regulations aside for one person doesn’t cut it. I know plent of Muslims in the Marines. Guess what, they wear their traditional stuff out of uniform and don’t grow beards. If the JROTC is meant to mimic the military, at least with drill and ceremony, she should understand that there are orders and regulations in place for a reason. Hell it’s called a Uniform…like everyone’s supposed to have what? You guessed it. UNIFORMITY.
