  • Okay, I stopped commenting here on a regular basis because it has become a blood in the water shark feeding frenzy for all of the conspiracy theorists that are growing in number. My question is this: Why, no matter what the story is, are there are folks who comment here about their own topics and they go on a tear? And if Rand Paul is involved, his Dad’s supporters are in kill mode. Does anyone ever consider that there are folks who should be part of the conversation who are driven away by you because you are so narrow minded about what you think and believe you exclude them from rational discourse?

  • The obvious disdain and superiority the the Democrats clearly feel toward Senator Cruz and any Republican who challenges them is apparent in this clip. Watch the whole thing on C-Span. Heck, watch newly minted Massachusetts Senator Warren, to Senator Durbin’s right, chuckle as he dresses down Senator Cruz. These folks have no respect for decorum, the Constitution, or anyone who gets in their way with facts.

  • Good God! If Mika is so outraged, join the training group on the Biggest Loser. All kidding aside, this is so openly pronounced! Mika and her media friends and her cronies on the far left, believe they have an obligation to reel in and control the “huddled masses”, translation to them: “Really ignorant people who drag us intelligent folks down!” Kinda funny everyone, they are not afraid to show who they are anymore. They have a President, the Senate, and the information deficient masses on their side. The devil be dammed, she (and they) believe they have the upper hand now.

  • I think it is time to let the Ron Paul insults go and realize that you are shooting yourselves in the foot.

  • As of yet, none of you have clearly defined why you all believe that you, as you exist today, have no room, or patience for anyone who mostly agrees with you, but has some disagreements. It is “all or nothing!” That, alone, will continue to marginalize Libertarian philosophy. I, for one, want the debate. But, debates do not have one truth. They are a civil argument of competing points that, if debated civilly, achieve some points of agreement and a place to make effective policy for a huge national population.

  • MFHORN3:
Read my Obama getting elected comment. That was and is my point. As long as we all do this to each other, the Progressives will prevail. BTW, I am not a Conservative or a Republican. But, I do not worship at anyone’s alter. I will leave that to the Progressives as they continue to use the President as their tool to remake our nation into what they want. Astonishing similarities to what the Bolsheviks did after the 1917 Revolution in Russia.

  • Sad truth is that we are all on the same page here and it comes down to small ideological differences and semantics. My point has, and always will be, the quick knee jerk need to rebuke, refute, and marginalize. Our comment stream here is a perfect example. There are plenty of folks who are Libertarian who are not part of the Party, not totally in agreement with all of the “bullet points” of Party philosophy, but definitely agree on the points that count. I get Beck’s point about being smacked down and therein lies where I am coming from. Sorry if that offends any of you, but you need to learn to push that nerve back into place and keep it in a place where it isn’t so raw.

  • Where did racist and anti-jewish come from?

  • BTW, since no one seems to have paid much attention, Beck never said he was is “more and more” becoming a Libertarian. Once he said that, he was rebuked by the powers that be in the “organized” Libertarian Party. You don’t have to be in the Libertarian Party to be a Libertarian or some form thereof. But, if you are in the Libertarian Party and complain about how bad the Republican Party establishment is, look in the mirror, you are doing the same they are! You want to decide who has a right to have a voice and who meets your litmus test.
