  I applaud the growing responceablity that women are taking in their self defense. My grandmother packed a hand gun most of her life and had a shot gun next to her bed. To get cheap practice use a air soft green gas gun the same as your real semi-auto. You can practice in your bed room with cardboard box without ear plugs it is about as loud a firing a real gun with ear protection. The recoil and weight on a semi-auto is about the same. The biggest thing aim small mis small. Just hitting someone is not nearly good enough. The kill spots on a person are smaller than the palm of your hand. You have to know where they are and be able to hit them in a snap shot. Good for you ladies practice a little every day. Slow draw to precise target muscule memory.

  When I went to school they were called standardized achievement test they were not part of the grading. Not everyone did them and I was pulled from class to take them. I quit taking them in 8th grade by just not doing them.

  This is the most dangerous time of the year to deal with a bear. They are very hungery for meat after their winter fast. With the exception of grubs and a few field mice there is little to eat. Another month and the field mice and fish runs give them plenty. Once bears start targeting house hold garbage they have to be moved or killed. Fools thing it is so cute to have feeding out of trash cans. Their next step is going through you kitchen for food.

  I am really glad to see Hamas enforcing their laws and traditions before they get a complete unbreakable power over the people. In Iran before anyone realized what a horrific system Sharia law is there was no way to stop it.

  Gun control is about control. The new laws are about cosmetic appearances. Reality you are more likely to be killed by hands and feet than a long gun. I have never been even threatened by a person armed with a gun, but I have had to take extreme evasive action to avoid life threatening auto crashes. Average 1 a year. If the law maker overlords real believe we have to do everything we can to stop injury and death. Make the speed limit 10 mph, mandatory speed governors and cover all car with bubble rap. Then everyone can talk on their phone, smoke pot, drink and put in their makeup.

  The Presedent sign 2/3 vote from the senate ratify treaties. Treaties and the constitution supersede state law. Effectively state nullification has never worked and the civil war proved it. That is why the senatitory elections are so important.

  Just about every gun owner who hunts has one or more of these guns. This is getting serous. By the time this works through the courts in Co. 10s of thousands of guns will be confiscated and likely destroyed or 10s of thousands of gun owners will be criminals. This will get real ugly. Time to hide what you value.

  What I would really like is a ruger carbine that shoots a 9mm with a interchangeable .40 cal clip & barrel. Or just as good a carbine that uses a glock barrel and clip. The heavier pistol rounds are very effective.
