And there you go New York. YOu let progressivism fester long enough and it becomes malignant. Like a tumor you can’t cut out these progressives will take decade to eradicate from the system, that how deep this runs. It may already be too late but your getting what you voted for.

I like how progressives are going to explain democracy. It’s a shame we don’t live in one.

  • April 17, 2014 at 7:50pm

Yeah. And now we’ve “evolved” into placing a spike in the back of their necks to sever the spine.

    Follow the money trail.

Tell me again how all of the founding fathers were deists and somehow that means Christianity has nothing to do with this country.

The answer, Gonzo is to have the kids turn off the Xbox and get outside. I was a kid when stone tablets were the IPad of the day and we had no problem going outside and making up games or playing football, stick ball or whatever just to be active.

This is what you get when you let progressives raise your kids.

And just a few feet down the earth is over a million degrees!

The only way Holder appoints an independent investigator is if the administration decides it can throw Lerner under the bus and make it look like everything was her fault thus clearing upper management of any wrong doing. It would allow Obama to put this behind him. The risk is if testimony comes from her that is impossible for Obama to dance around.

So now you want Universal Health Care? Oi.

  • April 15, 2014 at 1:20pm

Carson could always pull an Obama and “evolve” on the issue.

Oracle: I hear this all the time, this president or that president were deists. Bull! That’s a progressive line put out there to belittle what the founders actually believed. How’s this:

“It is the duty of all nations to acknowledge the providence of Almighty God, to obey His will, to be grateful for His benefits, and humbly to implore His protection and favor.”
    - George Washington

We have this day [Fourth of July] restored the Sovereign to whom all men ought to be obedient. He reigns in Heaven, and from the rising to the setting of the sun, let His Kingdom come.
    - Samuel Adams

The general principles on which the fathers achieved independence were the general principles of Christianity. I will avow that I then believed, and now believe, that those general principles of Christianity are as eternal and immutable as the existence and attributes of God.
    - John Adams

God who gave us life gave us liberty. Can the liberties of a nation be secure when we have removed a conviction that these liberties are the gift of God? Indeed I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just, that His justice cannot sleep forever.
    - Thomas Jefferson, Jefferson Memorial

Want more let me know. But this does not sound like deism to me.

Afrieden: Where in the Constitution are the commandments prohibited? I must have missed that section.

I can’t believe this is even a debate. 97% of the founding fathers were Christian. The schools they started all used the bible as the only text book at first. When secular books started to enter into schools Fisher Ames wrote:“…we have a dangerous trend beginning to take place in our education….We’ve become accustomed of late to putting little books in the hands of children containing fables with moral lessons. We are spending less time in the classroom on the Bible, which should be the principle text in our schools. The Bible states these great moral lessons better than any other man made book.”

Who is Fisher Ames? He wrote the First Amendment so if anyone would understand the meaning and intent of the First Amendment wouldn’t ole Fisher be the guy?

Even the guy progressives love to look to as establishing the “separation clause” openly promoted Christianity even on public land. In 1802, Thomas Jefferson in an official presidential act signed the 1787 Act Of Congress that designated federal land: “for the sole use of Christian Indians and the Moravian Brethren Missionaries for the civilizing of the Indians and promoting Christianity”. Jefferson would later order the government to spread Christianity to the Wyncote Indians in 1806 and then the Cherokee Indians in 1807.

So the government has a history of promoting Christianity and believed it necessary.

That pesky Second Amendment keeps getting in the way of the feds running rough shod all over the sheeple. The left will triple their efforts to get rid of it now. This indoctrination thing of the children is taking too long.

DIMREEFER: That would just about sum it up! There’s always an ulterior motive behind these things and as usual it’s always money.

I like this sentence: President Obama could enact the plans in this memo with just the stroke of a pen, without any input from the communities affected by it.

Well if the president wants to act like a king I hope he watches the Game Of Thrones. Didn’t go to well for their king.

Wife of Malcolm X. Another fine example of humanity.
